While Kinder Kritter has the best groomer in town (my dog Maple always came back looking absolutely amazing!), my recent experience with their boarding services has left me deeply disappointed. I had been a loyal customer for years and had even recommended them to friends in East Dallas. Unfortunately, things took a turn when my sweet dog Maple was injured during her stay, and I wasn't informed. I only discovered a large gash on her side the next day, which required an emergency vet visit, four staples, medication, and a week in a cone. When I kindly approached the staff to find out what happened, they couldn't give me any information and said they'd review the tapes. Weeks went by with no updates, despite me following up multiple times. After nearly a month a a half of me following up, I was told by a staff member that the company couldn't cover any of Maple's medical costs because they had construction expenses and bonuses to pay. This was shocking to hear. And if the employees deny this, I would invite the company to also review recorded calls, if that is a possibility there. But still, no confirmation that the video's were finished being reviewed. I even offered to help them with free business consulting, including social media support, because I believed in their service and wanted to see them thrive. I invited my team to come spend a day with them for free, but the manager, or Owner, John, who took two months to get involved, said their social media was already amazing and didn't need any help. When I spoke with John, I was appalled by his rude and dismissive attitude. He even brought up a missed appointment fee from two years ago--during a time when I was dealing with my mother's passing. It was irrelevant and uncalled for. John mentioned that "he did everything he could," but when I asked what that meant, there was no clear answer. Other than to insist, at one point I signed an agreement. It's disappointing how they've handled this situation, especially after a long season of loyalty. My husband and I have been taking our Bichon to Kinder Kritter for about 2.5 years. We LOVE this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and really know how to properly groom a bichon, which isn't always the case! Noah gets compliments all the time about how beautiful he is! We put him in daycare when he needs to be groomed, and he always comes back happy and tired (and perfectly poufy and white). We love that they have a web cam to see your baby during the day. I am always happy to see their employees in with the dogs, petting them and keeping them all safe. We also love getting the report cards, as well as the occasional photograph they have taken during his visits. Also, I used to be a person that vowed NEVER to board my dog. Well, after using Kinder Kritter for about a year we tried boarding Noah there and we would definitely do it again. He came back very well-adjusted and happy. I trust them with my dog! They are wonderful! They really get to know your dog, and you can tell they really care about them. I've even run into some of the employees outside of Kinder Kritter and they always remember me as "Noah's mom," and always say hi. Highly recommend this place! read more

The staff totally gets bulldogs - they know we need special care with our adorable smushy faces and tendency to overheat. Chris comes home exhausted from their massive play yard, looking like he's just had the most epic doggy vacation ever. Their spacious indoor and outdoor areas are perfect for a bulldog who loves to play but also needs plenty of shade and water breaks. What sold me? They understand breed-specific needs. While most places might overlook a bulldog's grooming requirements, Kinder Kritter knows we need extra TLC. They're basically doggy dermatologists who make sure Chris's wrinkles are clean and his coat is shiny. Pro tip: My bulldog thinks he's a celebrity at Kinder Kritter, and honestly? He's not wrong. Recently been hearing how the owner of this shop "John Michael" has been mistreating employees, make a manager cry a few times, stressing out many, and even bad mouthing his own staff behind their back while acting friendly in front of them. Even got to witness John getting into a fight with someone just parking in front of their shop like a child. It's honestly disheartening to hear the stories ex staff members have to say about the owner and my heart hurts for them having to deal with that daily. Many of the members where so welcoming and to know that all this was happening behind closed doors is a true shame, i wouldn't recommend support this group anymore if you truly want a better alternative i would suggest any of the many companies up the road. The staff and environment are much better than Kinder's gold painted trash can. And for daycare and boarding i would suggest a company just down the road. Also turns out some of Kinder Kritter's Yelp reviews on here are fake and written by staff for 5-10$ each review that stays up. read more

I went in today to discuss bringing my 5 1/2 mth old lab mix in a couple of days a week so she can play. The first question that was asked, "Is she a pit bull or a pit mix, we don't take "fighter" breeds. I was highly disappointed that this question is being asked and that the term "fighter" breeds was used. Dogs are not fighter breeds, their sick owners are the ones that fight them. It shows a prejudice and I can add that you will also not be taking my "Lab Mix" breed. I will be telling everyone I know about this comment. My pup Olive has been going to Kinder Kritter for the last 5 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. They truly know and love my dog, which makes me feel so comfortable knowing she's getting the best care and having the most fun whether just for the day or boarding for several days. It also means so much that there is someone onsite overnight when the dogs are boarding. I'm grateful for all of the staff members for caring for and loving on my dog. This is a terrific place for doggie daycare. The staff is great with dogs and knowledgeable. My female dog loves her visits, and comes home tired and happy. She is the second dog I've entrusted with Kinder Kritter, and I'm confident she gets all the love and playtime she deserves. They've made an effort to add playroom equipment, and have made significant improvements to the outdoor area which have been made with the dogs in mind. read more

Just picked up my pug "Pepper" after a few days boarding here. He didn't want to leave so I took that as a good sign. I'm probably not as much fun as he must have had there. May have to take him back soon for day care. He did get groomed a few weeks ago and his black hair was so nice, clean and shiny. I live across town but it's well worth the drive. Love this place! I live in Fort Worth and take my dog all the way to Dallas to board him, I trust them completely. My dog loves going and most of all he gets to play and interact with other dogs his size. The owner cares for and loves every dog as if they were her own. You also receive photos via email everyday whether you board or send them to daycare. I highly recommend this place! read more

Best Dog groomer, boarding, day care facility in Dallas! My wheaten terrier never hesitates or acts afraid here (as he has at other groomers). They take great care of all the pets. Don't expect to have the grooming take all day (like at other groomers) either. They will be calling in an hour or so! Best Ever!! read more

They look after our sweet boy (Labrador retriever) several days a a week and you can sense the excitement he gets just pulling in the parking lot to spend the day there with all his friends.
