Was needing to find a good groomer to take care of my long haired German Shepherd girl and this is the place. I was always a little nervous because she does not really like to be groomed or bathed at home, but Tom and Jerrin eased my mind. They took great care of her and told me she did great. She looks and smells great and they cleaned her up nicely. I will be keeping up with them every couple of months so my girl can keep feeling and looking nice. Let me 1st say that my review is past due. Yelp wasn't around when I had Meeko. I received Meeko a Maltese and Pekingese mix as a gift in 2006. I took him to Pet Smart for the first 3 years and was told about the guys at K9 cuts. My dog looked like every other dog when I"d get him from Pets Smart and something they put on him, made him scoot on his butt every time. When I went to K9 cuts I was sooo relieved! The service was more personal. My dog was soft and smelled awesome and his tears stains were always gone. Meeko died suddenly in 2012. I did not want another dog ever. Now I have one. She is a Therapy dog. Her name is Tobie. I have been grooming here since she was 4 months old. I could not afford a groomer and she was so afraid of the sound of the clippers and ran from me so much, it takes up to 4 hours to groom her myself. I gave her a unique look and do not trust a commercial place to be sensitive to her fears or keep her looking the way I groom her. Now I'm REALY tired and everywhere I've called has some extra "clause" for dogs like Tobie who had never been professionally groomed. 10 extra for this or 15 extra for that. One place said 25 extra forv SEDATION GROOMING. I will not blast them because I half as felt it was normal. But I don't want my dog to be separated to be grounded. Doesn't feel right! My ex husband said....what about the guys who used tp groom Meeko in Garland??? I was like OMG!!! I forgot about them. Loosing Meeko must have forced everything out of my memory pertaining to him. I have not reached out to K9 cuts to make an appt for Tobie yet but as soon as he said that I was RELIEVED! I truly TRUST them and haven't even taken Tobie to them yet. I know she will be in great hands. Its really hard to leave her with just "anyone" considering she is my therapy dog and I know she gets uncomfortable with grooming. IF the same guys are there.. I know she will be just fine. They always knew exactly what to do to meeko without me saying so. And when Meeko had gotten super dirty, they cleaned him up so well, his beige or brown hair would be white again! When it comes to our pets, we always want them in the best hands. These guys never rushed me to come and get Meeko. If I was running late because of work or whatever, it was OK as long as I got her before closing. I miss feeling so "sure" my dog was OK. Tobie is a new pet, a girl and justl...different! Lol! Yet I'm confident she will be just fine. If you want a more "personal" experience for your pet's grooming needs...I HIGHLY Suggest k-9 cuts! I will be seeing them again very soon! read more

Went by today to have the nails trimmed on one of my puppies. The staff was busy but they got me right in. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and gave me some good advice on how to help alleviate some of the allergy symptoms my dog was having. I was in and out in probably 20 minutes. I will be going back soon to have my other dog groomed. I was told that for the grooming they're scheduling for 2 weeks out. Shows you just how busy these guys are. Next time you need a groomer you should give a them a try. read more

Love these guys! They are excellent groomers and always so friendly. I feel so comfortable leaving my pups with them. They are by appointment only and will call you as soon as your pup is ready. My poodles always coming back looking so good!! They have never nicked them as other groomers have in the past. I now live in east Dallas and still drive to K-9 to get my dog groomed. Best in the west and have tried the rest. Yorkie girl would come back from other groomers in our area sometimes nicked, often lethargic, sullen and shaking and we are not even talking about the crap some of the personnel have unloaded on my 82 year old Mom. I understand accidents happen as my Dad (many moons ago) nicked my cocker spaniels neck and no it was not good but healed perfectly with standard care nightly. "Stuff happens" with dogs and children as had a daredevil boy who learned over time to hate doctors. Just sayin. The shop is very clean, personnel extremely nice and caring and most important Roxie tells us by her body language/demeanor each time we pick her up; "yep you missed me" but these are good people who didn't drug me or treat me badly and know what they are doing. read more

These are HORRIBLE people. They are very rude, low class and bad at their jobs. My dog came home with razor burn and skin rashes and fleas she didn't have when she went in. Do not trust these people with your pet if you care about them. read more

A really strange thing today. My wife, who has been taking our dogs to these two guys for years, dropped them off this AM, and mentioned, "don't trim the ears". They both went off on her, saying they never cut the ears, and one guy muttered "I am tired of all the fu...... lying" (actually said the word). I walked in just after this, and heard the expletive. The other guy did not apologize, and even said he would take photos. My wife tried to apologize (why I do not know), but they grabbed the dogs and we left. She picked up the dogs later, and they were not even there. I have no clue why this happened. Does anybody know any good groomers?? read more

I am so thankful that I found K-9 Cuts! My dog Coco has had some terrible experiences with dog groomers at both Petco and Petsmart, so she had been reluctant in the past to let groomers groom her. She is a 10 year old malti-poo, so her hair can get extremely long quickly if she is unkept. She normally trembles before I give her over to someone to be groomed, but at K-9 cuts she went right to the dog groomers. She did wonderfully and she looks so amazing! When I picked her up I could tell that they really took care of her and made her feel safe. I have truly found a lifelong groomer and couldn't be happier! read more
