I started bringing my son here when he was 8 weeks old. I wanted to expose him to music, rhythms, and group interactions outside of family as soon as possible. I was also suffering from PPA and I was so scared to take him anywhere, and I worried about being judged or not knowing what I was doing. I am so glad we found Kindermusik in Sacramento. It is such a safe space and free of judgment. Miss Elizabeth is an absolutely amazing human being, she always made us feel welcomed here. I learned how to play with my son at home and he loves playing with all of his Kindermusik toys. He is 15 months old now and he loves using his instruments to the beat of his favorite songs. Kindermusik with Ms. Leslie was tremendous for our high-spirited son Tobias. We have probably been taking him there for over a year and a half. Bring your newborn, infant, toddler, kid to see Miss Cathy, who is an absolute natural with children! Kindermusik is a series of music modules designed to immerse children in music, movement, and rhythm. The modules are designed for specific age groups. There is also a family class, which we really enjoyed. New parents, you can start early -- I started my daughter when she was 8 weeks old and one of the other moms and her daughter (now our good friends) started when her daughter was 4 weeks old. It's a great way to get out of the house and be active with your baby. The music selections/compilations are from all over the world, though I wish they were performed less, how should I put it, operatic. My husband complained that it made his ears bleed! But Miss Cathy makes the class so much fun you hardly notice it. Most of the weekly classes last about 45 minutes, which has been just right in my opinion. We have had both morning and afternoon classes and have seen no difference in Miss Cathy's energy level. Both of my kids have been in Miss Cathy's classes and really adore her. She is entertaining and engaging. Not only that, she is a really cool person and is donating her time to teach a class for limited income grandparents who are raising their grandkids, without charge to them for the class or materials. Kindermusik with Ms. Leslie is wonderful. I have been taking my daughter there since she was about 6 months old. At first she was shy and didn't get too involved with the activities but enjoyed the classes. Over time she started to learn to follow directions, songs, dances and activities. Ms. Leslie makes everyone feel welcome and gives each child personal attention. Each 8 week session has similar components but new themes are explored. Each class starts with a welcome, some toys or musical instruments, music, dancing, a story book, a good bye and lots of fun. Each session comes with home materials which if used supplement the session quite well. We play the music, read the books and play the instruments at home, so my daughter knows the songs and activities. This makes class more fun. We have stayed in the same class and my daughter has made friends and so have my wife and I. Ms. Leslie has also recently updated the flooring, fresh colorful paint and decorations. Miss Cathy rocks both literally and figuratively. My son has taken 3 different Kindermusik sessions at the Midtown studio and he loves her. The class is chock full of good things for tots - lots of energy, story telling, music and instruments, dance and movement, interaction with peers and adults. We love Ms. Elizabeth!!! We've been going to Ms. Elizabeth's music class for a year now and my daughter really enjoys it. Ms. Elizabeth is very attentive, patient, and professional. Her classes are well-organized and fun. She creates a very welcoming and loving environment for the kids. They would learn how to follow directions, clean up after themselves, and share toys with their peers. The classroom is very clean and there's always plenty of street parking (free) nearby. Our kids go to a lot of different activities and have had a lot of different teachers. The other day we were asking each other who we thought the best of them all were. Our answer was a resounding MS. LESLIE WITH KINDERMUSIK. She is one of the most knowledgeable teachers we've had the chance to work with and gives little tidbits of info at each class as to how what we're doing is helpful. She is incredibly positive, kind and compassionate. Each section you get a bag with an instrument, book and CD of the songs you use. Every class is different, but contains repetition of songs and ideas to let the concepts sink in. Ms. Leslie even has fun holiday parties ypu can attend. Our two kids have gone there since 6 months of age (the oldest os now 3!) and we would 110% recommend this class. It's worth every cent! read more

Absolutely love our weekly class. My son is super shy and not much of a talker when around new people. But just in the few weeks we have gone, I am noticing such a change. Miss Elisabeth is amazing at what she does and really follows the lead of each child. She takes time to interact with each child, and knows each one by name. As a nanny for two children, a 2 year old and a 3 year old, it is always great to have activities that get us out of the house. However, Cathy's Kindermusik is my hands down favorite. She is exuberant, wonderful with the children, and an amazing music teacher. Both kids love attending; it is wonderful to see them having so much fun and developing new skills each class. Cathy's activities allow them to work on gross and fine motor skills, rhythm, sharing, and cooperation. Cathy is in tune with each child, knowing how to help them be involved and develop at their own pace. The kids sing Kindermusik songs all week long.
