Places like this are hard to find, but they are amazing if you're wanting to go plastic/waste free. They offer everything from Shampoos to cleaners to detergents to teas and herbs. You can bring your own containers or they offer some (donate your old glass containers here!) and they charge by the OZ so you can pick how much you want. The smells on their spray cleaners are ones I don't find in stores, although they do have the basic Lemon or lavender options, they have many different scents to choose from that are low odor and not harsh. I did find some of their stuff was more pricey than I'd like but everything is highly concentrated! So the detergent is 1-2 TBS a load vs 1/4 cup from store brands.

Prior to coming here, I've known about this spot through Instagram. I was nearby and wanted to checkout this spot. You'll have to pay for parking unless you are able to grab a spot in front. They had products that come in bulk. You can bring in your clean glass jars that you don't use and they get reused for customers to use to purchase their bulk products. I bought their bath soak, bubble bath soap, and incense. They sell many sustainable products and everything is reasonably priced. Under Kindred Homestead Supply, there is Ronald Records that you should check out if you're nearby. I like that this small business has monthly events going on in their store which I have yet to attend to. I love that Alex brought this idea to Downtown Vancouver because we do not have a place like this close by. I'll be coming back here again in the future!

This is the store that my store dreams are made of -cute , aesthetic ,spacious , well lit and extremely good sustainable offerings . I went in on a whim while on my walk and was so mesmerized that I ended up spending quite a lot of time here . Who needs ten thousand steps when you can get so much more ! They have bulk refillable jars where you can re-fill your supplies according to how much you need instead of buying a whole container . What's more interesting that even though you are shopping in an Insta -worthy store the prices are not like you are breaking bank . They have all kinds of zero waste products for your Toiletries, Garden, kitchen and cleaning needs . In addition to bulk products they also carry low-waste and sustainably made home goods, secondhand and vintage items, and display a wide array of locally made artwork. Every month from March - October, on the second Saturday, they also hold a Flea market adjacent to the store in the empty parking lot and all kinds of vendors gather to sell their offerings .

Seriously obsessed with this place. Thank you so much for the inspiration on how to store plants indoor! I also bought mouth wash tablets today that i managed to lose as I was so worried about downtown parking! Haha. I hope to find them and will update my review on how I like em! This store is too cute. You should stop by and look around. My friend buys supplies for her business there and we stopped by today. I was super impressed with the store from walking in to leaving!

Very cute clothes that are priced certainly 60% of what they'd sell in retail. Cute jewelry as well. I got my Graduation dinner dress here. The reviews stating that the store wasn't open when they popped in have to realize the store is open based on customer demand. If you come in during January when people are still recovering from overspending on Christmas, it's not going to be open as late as if everyone's tax returns just hit. The store is almost always open before 4. Just come in then. Small businesses can't pay employees during hours where people are not in the store, that's silly. Melissa is amazing, if you write a review over a minor inconvenience that stays on the businesses track record forever.

Some of the items are priced like new items. $22 for a small plain white shelf I could get at Target. $50 for some shelves I could get on Amazon. I wouldn't pay like new prices for used, sorry. They have antiques as well but also priced very high, is it worth it? Maybe to someone. Also it has a bit of a strange smell, I was getting a bit nauseous. On the bright side the shop is organized and they have a wide variety of items but it wasnt for me.

Let's just say, I never leave this store empty-handed due to their huge inventory and great prices. This giant thrift store is housed in a former Albertsons if that gives you an idea of scale. There are multiple departments, and row upon row upon row of treasures waiting to be discovered. Given Retails rotational discounts, visitors never really know what they're going to find here. New products are coming in daily, and different colored tags are discounted daily as well. The store has a robust jewelry section with glass cases filled with rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I've found so many wonderful items for both myself, and to give as gifts. Because the inventory is based on donated goods, there is always a wide variety of items available to purchase. The pet department is Retails best-kept secret. The store is managed by the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, so as you can imagine, there are tons of great buys for the pets in your life. I come here for cheap dog toys for my pug to tear apart, water and food bowls, pet carriers, etc. I've found some really incredible deals here. Retails has an extensive clothing department that takes up at least 40% of the overall footprint of the store. Clothing is clean, well-displayed and organized, and priced to sell. On one of the discount days I was able to leave the store with a dozen pairs of pants for my husband for less than $30! What a deal! Seriously, if you haven't shopped Retails, RUN! You're bound to find something you just can't live without in this eclectic thrift shop. Be advised, however, sometimes the checkout line can get a little long. I believe many of the staff are volunteers, so they're doing their very best to keep things running smoothly.

They had the cutest selection of retro outerwear. There was specifically a lot of Nike, Columbia, North Face, and a few other similar brands I can't remember off the top of my head. They had Columbia wind breakers in every possible color and material. The store is arranged by size and color, so it's really easy to find what you're looking for. The only reason I didn't end up buying anything was because I know for an absolute fact that I could get a brand new Columbia jacket for the exact same price at the outlet across the street. Pretty much all of their jackets were marked $25, which is how much they go on sale for brand new at the outlet. But if I struck out at the outlet or needed a specific color/pattern windbreaker for a party/event or something, then I would definitely come back here. I did not experience any of the issues with snotty customer service or a bad smelling store that other reviewers complained about. I actually thought it smelled pretty decent for a consignment store/Oregon. The girls at the counter greeted me when I came in and told me to have a nice day when I left. To be fair, I wasn't trying to sell anything, but, as a consumer, I appreciated their very specific brand/style curation. One of the other reviewers was complaining that they didn't buy her used non-brand-name clothes--like-- girl, duh. Just because you thought something was cute and a good deal doesn't somehow entitle you to a high resale value. This store is a great place to kill some time or find some retro outerwear, and the negative reviews are seemingly all trash.
