If you're frustrated with your progression with physically therapy and looking for a place that'll get back to 100% LOOK NO FURTHER!! I am a firefighter and broke my ankle at work. I was going to a PT clinic that would just give me 10 min band workouts following 10 mins of ice and will be out of there after 30 mins, not breaking a sweat. This is my first injury so talking with friends and family, that was common practice for PT clinics. Luckily I found Kinematics! Everything about this establishment has been top tier. Starting from the front desk, Anneliese is welcoming and organized. The therapist I have personally worked with, Cassie, Jake, and Christina have all been approachable, knowledgeable, and have went above and beyond to get me back to 100%. At the start of my highschool baseball season I unfortunately got a season ending injury, it was a Stress Fracture in my L3 and a brake in my L5 (Lower Back). My doctor said I would more than likely have to heal and do nothing for 3 months, but I felt like there had to be something. I came to Kinematics and I immediately felt welcomed, it didn't feel like some boring office building, the crew, environment, and the therapy was unreal. I never once of my 2 months coming in felt forced to go. The crew really cared about getting me better and pushed me even when I was dying from the workout. Lastly, the equipment was great, me being a baseball player they had the correct equipment for me to get back in to swinging and rotating with no pain! Being a catcher they even had drills for me to do specialized for my position, this is for all sports too whatever sport you play they got it. My name is Brittany and Recently I tore my MCL and "dealt" with the injury for 8 months during Covid before finally going to see a doctor. The doctor said I may need surgery and to start pre-op physical therapy which I was referred to Kinematics. I came in and met with Matt who was SO welcoming. He took the time to explain to me my injury, making me feel comfortable and confident in him and the team. Matt completed an exam on my knee to see my strength and mobility and from there made me my own unique program to get me ready for surgery (So we thought!) The staff is outstanding. I met Matt last year when he visited the Philippines and was astonished on how well and precise he was on assessing my body and issues. I fin managed to fly to KPT recently for PT and it was one of the best decisions i've made for my health ever. Him and his team were so thorough with the program they made for me. After racing a couple half ironman races a year for 6-7 years i tore my meniscus during covid. I had a couple post op set backs and I was ready to call it quits on racing again but a friend referred me to Matt at Kinematics. I set a goal to break the 5hr 30min mark which I had never done before in the half ironman distance. Matt and his team worked on strengthening the right muscles to support my goals and gave me my at home work to do. My first "prep" race was this weekend at Boulder 70.3 Ironman. This was supposed to a prep race for Oceanside 70.3 in April 2023. I was so excited to beat my goal posting a time of 5:29:33 8 months earlier than I hoped. Where to start. I've been coming to Kinematics for awhile. The constant turnover seems to be every month. I am so disappointed that Matt let go of his office manager. The ONE person I trusted and handled my claims. If she left on her own free will, I can understand! If the owner were a smart business man, he'd have kept the one person who did know what she was doing and truly cared. The new person doesn't have knowledge and isn't very pleasant as someone who should be working the front. There's an older woman now and she not once has gotten back to me with any rectification. What can I say about Kinematics PT, they are by far the best physical therapy office I've ever been to. I came in with intense pain in my shoulder and have been working with them for a few weeks and the improvement has been substantial! The crew is amazing and they constantly tweak and upgrade my program to keep me on track in my recovery. The entire staff at Kinematics is well-versed in therapy and getting you back to 100% of what you were looking for. I got carpal tunnel at work and I have tried a couple of PT office both in Northern and Southern California. KPT is the best Physical Therapy Office I have ever met. Dr. Matt F is strong both in technique and personality. He has a golden heart with great hand-on skills. He is treating my hands and my lower back at the same time with low charges. He treated my hands by using Iontophoresis technique which is really helpful. I got treated in his office around 2 hours each time.
