Let me start by saying I absolutely love this place!!! I first came to Kinematics in 2016 for treatment on a shoulder dislocation. At that time, I had never been to physical therapy, so I didn't know what to expect. On my first visit, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. During my evaluation with Matt I was very impressed by his professionalism and the time he took with me. I felt that Matt genuinely cared especially after he asked me what my goals and expectations were? That said a lot because that demonstrated that my opinion(s) mattered and they were going to do whatever it took to get me there. I was frank with Matt and told him I wanted to make a full recovery. Matt and his team strived to help me achieve that and surpassed my expectations. Fast forward to 2019-2020, I suffered another shoulder injury (different shoulder) whereby surgery was required. Because this was a workers comp related injury, I was being seen by a different physical therapist. After, a few times of going there, I quickly requested to change to Kinematics where I knew I would actually see progress. I wanted to be surrounded by professionals who really cared about my wellbeing and designed a program especially for me...not just the typical shoulder injury person. I was so happy to be back here because I knew I was well on my way to making a full recovery. On a side note...the eye candy isn't bad either... I have so much trust and faith in this establishment. They are as welcoming and friendly as they were 3 years ago and the quality of work is outstanding. There's no other place I would want to go to for treatment. I've been so impressed with them, I had my 14 year old son receive treatment here after he suffered a sports related injury. We gave Matt a realistic timeframe for recovery because my son was going to participate in competitive tournament and Matt was on top of it. He provided quality care and used every trick in the PT book to meet the timeline and did! Matt and his team are beyond dedicated to every patient by constantly reevaluating and making sure we stay on track. They challenge you and build you up. I enjoy coming here and I always leave with a smile knowing that with their help, everyday I'm closer to achieving my goals. Right off the bat, I called to make my first appt (new patient) because thought the place would be worth it, but unfortunately spoke with a rude receptionist with an attitude. She said phone was breaking up - but that's not an excuse to be rude, she said I was speaking fast as she was writing my stuff down - and I always speak at the same pace with people writing stuff down and they never complain, so not sure why the attitude with new patients. Instead of apologizing, like everyone usually does, she gave me weird reasons and repeated my phrase "I don't appreciate your attitude". Like seriously?! I'm the customer for the God's sake. This is not even the closest place to me but was planning to drive specifically for them. If the receptionist is this rude and I'll have to deal with her to make my future appts, then would rather take my business somewhere else and start my treatments with nicer staff. It's unfortunate because the receptionists are the face of every company (talking from an engineering experience), but she made the company lose business already by giving a bad impression about the place & by giving an unnecessary rude attitude for no reason. read more

Began going to Kinematics in April of this year for a Workers Comp referral, and the people at Kinematics are hands down the best medical providers I've visited throughout this whole process. I originally started with Kinematics because I was being told that I needed a hip replacement. I wasn't ready to accept this diagnosis so I wanted to try physical therapy. Sitting here at my second appointment getting some cold on my ankle from their game ready machine and compared to all the other physical therapy I have done this place is by far the best. Just the knowledge I have seen so far by everybody surpasses all the other places I have been in my life. I just had an ankle replacement surgery which is my main reason for coming here and in 2016 I had a knee replacement surgery where the PT was not even close to what I have been thru here in just 2 days. I felt great after the first day and feel good now. You know how you can just tell how something will be? Just walking in here I could tell this place was going to be great. And so far I was right. I am sure I will have more to add to this review. But as of right now if I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. read more

I tore my ACL in October of 2019 playing soccer and had surgery in January of 2020. Matt told me that they'll take care of me. So for the next 6 months following my surgery I went twice a week and Kinematics did exactly that. (All while being covid compliment.) They built me back up and got me ready for light physical activities. Since then, I have tried to replicate some of the exercises that I would do there on my off time. It's been about 14 months since my surgery and countless hours of physical therapy but I finally played my first game of organized soccer. I have never experienced such physical pain until I got sciatica. A few months ago, I found Kinematics online and gave them a call. After contacting my insurance, I was approved for therapy and scheduled my intake appointment. Matt, the director and physical therapist, handled the intake session and was very detailed and knowledgeable about my injury and the treatment I would require. After receiving treatment that day, Matt would put together a program tailored specifically for me and my injury. I have been going twice a week and feel a vast improvement since the day I first walked into Kinematics. The entire staff has always been extremely helpful, supportive and friendly. I've observed many different clients of all ages and injuries interacting with a hardworking, knowledgeable and dedicated staff in the time I've been coming to therapy. Cassie, another amazing physical therapist, has been instrumental in my recovery and each time I come to therapy she checks in with me on how I feel and adjusts my program and treatment accordingly. The other trainers on staff that I work with regularly include Tony, Angela and Steven. They encourage me and guide me through the workouts making sure I'm doing each exercise correctly to ensure the best possible results. Calvin is another PT that has provided excellent care based on the feedback I've given. I can't forget about Harold and Karen in the front office for staying on top of the scheduling of subsequent appointments and helping with insurance issues, respectively. Began bringing my 11 yr old daughter to Kinematics for shoulder pain a few months ago. Amazing staff and service! Mini me is a club volleyball player, and during the height of the season began experiencing shoulder pain. They were able to work with her through her pain without missing practice and most importantly, tournaments. I was so impressed with how they worked with her and her progress that she has continued into their wellness program for strengthening. What she has gained from her sessions translates how she performs on the court. Her body mechanics and form has improved. Serves, spikes and digs improved. AND most importantly, the pain has not returned since! Dr Matt and staff are awesome and make it a fun place to heal and stay healthy. Our son broke his growth plate in his elbow while pitching. We have kaiser and after the cast came off he was locked at 90 degrees. We went to 1 kaiser physical therapy appointment and knew it was going to be a long road with them. We waited to get into KPT and within a month our son has full range of motion again. What I love about Kinnematics is their Tailored approach for each individual. Whether you're in for a work related injury or sports injury, you are going to get a program that gets you the results that you Personally need. I have Had physical therapy several times due to work related injuries/surgeries. What I found with many physical therapy/rehabilitation clinics is that after your initial evaluation, there's just a check the box list of exercises that they give everybody And that you repeat every visit with little interaction from the staff. That didn't work for me and that's how my journey led me to Kinematics. There's rarely a week that I go in that my exercises and schedule is not adjusted to fit where I am in my recovery...and they push you to recovery:). Matt and Cassie are very genuine and caring people that run an amazing staff of therapists and interns. A few years ago I suffered a pretty traumatic injury to one of my legs and I went to Matt for treatment. The experience was top notch. So a few years later when I was injured at work I made it a point to return to Matt and his staff. They're a very professional outfit. Matt knowing that my job requires strenuous activity and also being a sports athlete/weekend warrior made it a point to tailor my treatment plan with the aim to get me back to work and back on the field. I found him to be caring and thorough on his approach. He utilizes the latest research into his practice. And thanks to him I have made a full recovery!! While at his practice he had patients from all walks of life. High school and college athletes, elderly patients, homemakers, law enforcement professionals, etc... Also on a side note, Matt is an athlete himself and practices what he preaches. He knows what it takes to get you back out to doing your normal everyday activities. He's not a miracle worker, physical therapy requires you to be motivated and driven. But Matt is there to help push you along the way. He will safely challenge you, within your limitations, to challenge them daily while making sure to ensure long term and permanent success. If you follow his lead you will find yourself as close to normal as is possible. He is one of the few PTs that I've been around that stays in direct communication with your physician to ensure that your goals are being met. In my experience he went above and beyond for me, and I know that he will do the same for you. If you're looking for someplace to rehab, look no further. But be prepared to be challenged. I can not say enough good things about Kinematics and all the staff. My 15 yr old had a reconstructI've ACL surgery. She started PT through Kaiser which had her set back where she needed to be... until we switched her to Kinematics! The equipment is advanced, the staff is intelligent, and Matt knows exactly what needs to be done! A big deal to us as well is the fact that they emotionally help the injured athletes also, this staff truly cares.
