The service is absolutely amazing: extremely nice. They treat you like family. Super happy with the service. The deviled eggs were really good, will definitely be coming back for more, even tried to order more to go but they were out. The seating is comfortable they have booths and tables very nice on the inside very clean bathrooms too The food is absolutely amazing everything as you can see in the pictures. We walked in to a dead empty restaurant and almost walked out. Glad we did not. Our server was friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. We were in the mood for Fried Chicken and she suggested the 10 pc meal as the best bang for your money. It definitely is a good deal! The chicken appeared to be cooked when ordered and didn't appear to have been sitting under a lamp for hours. I may be wrong, but it definitely tasted like it was just out of the fryer. The chicken was moist, crisp, & delish. It comes with 2 large sides. We chose Mac & Cheese , Fries, and an additional small Cole slaw. The Mac & Cheese was really good. First time visitors. We had a party of 8 and all enjoyed. Nothing is on the healthy scale but did expect that going there. About four of us had their fried chicken and it was delicious. We tried fried okra, green tomatoes (not that great), deviled eggs, green beans, etc. server was super friendly and answered all of our questions and gave us good suggestions. Went there because my friend had some one tell her the chicken was delicious .....IT WASN'T. No seasoning on chicken and the sides were in very small Ramekins, not as pictured on website. The green beans and yams had good flavor. The children breast was a decent size but the wing was about the size of a Pigeon. There about 5:45 and empty. One other couple came in before we left. We tried to have dinner here a couple of weekends ago. We were told to sit anywhere. Almost every table was taken and there were about 4 people in line to pick up take our orders. That was the last interaction we had with anyone. Some tables had food. There was a younger guy hanging out in the back that could've been getting drinks for customers or literally doing anything. A great find hidden in an unassuming plaza in Port Salerno! Freshly cooked food with that down home flavor! This is our second time trying this and it did not disappoint! We got the 2 piece fried chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and breaded with a great crunch with juicy meat. The greens are amazing...a little spice for my son but great seasoning for me. The Mac and cheese is definitely homemade and delicious. We also ordered the fishy sandwich and fries. Chicken was unseasoned, bland and somewhat tasteless. Mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like powdered spuds and canned gravy. Again, no taste. I ordered the four piece fried chicken. I love food as you can see from all my reviews. I didn't finish one piece. The meal pretty much wound up in the trash. I love the fried chicken have had it several times. The fried green tomatoes were also excellent. The sauce is quite spicy so beware of that. Fried okra is amazing. All though the chicken and fries were great and a good price, when I ordered the cole slaw and fries, the fries portion was very small and a normal amount of slaw. The price went from 8.99 to 11.99. I thought that was just too high for what you get. So from now on just fries for this girl even though I thought the slaw was quite good. The cakes at 8.00 a piece is also quite high as they are very dry. The banana pudding for 5.99 was amazing. Terrible service. We were one of three tables on what seemed to be an extremely slow Friday night, now I know why. If a local restaurant it dead during season on a Friday night at dinnertime, this should be a dead giveaway that it's going to be bad. We asked for ranch for our okra and it wasn't brought until after we were done eating it. Drinks didn't come until after our appetizer was finished. Asked for extra napkins because the food is messy, she never brought them, no refills for the extremely small glasses of iced tea. Had to finally walk up to the counter to pay because the server never came back. Found Kinfolks while in the area and in need of a quick lunch. The food was made fresh and everything was delicious. The chicken (both boneless and bone-in) was breaded and fried perfectly. The side dishes we ordered (fries, Mac and cheese, and candied yams) were exactly what you would want and expect from a southern style restaurant. The staff was also kind and efficient. Yummy! We read a review on social media about the Best Southern Food in the area and they weren't kidding. In a simple, comfortable setting we were greeted by our server, Tina, who was super pleasant. My husband ordered the half fried chicken, potato salad( definitely homemade ) and mac and cheese. I had the fried pork chop, mash potatoes, collard greens and candied yams. Everything was delicious! The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. What an unexpected pleasure! We had just arrived in Stuart for a few days stay and had errands to run. Kinfolks Southern Kitchen was in the same area as the stores we shopped in and we were hungry, so we figured 'what the heck', although neither of us ever eats fried chicken. The first thing I commented on was how spotless it was. We both decided on fried chicken with sides. Since that was their specialty, we figured they couldn't mess it up. It was excellent! The chicken breast was juicy and tender with a crunchy but light breading. My husband ate every bite, and I brought home my leftovers to enjoy a second time. Got take out the other night and was totally disappointed! I got ox tail because of the Facebook page where they looked meaty and you could see they cooked all day but mine was not even close. There was minimal meat on the small bones not even 2 bites per bone. (this was size I'd use in a soup) The green beans were too spicy for my palle. My husbands smothered pork chops were alright, on the thin side. He loved the collards. We have eaten inside and food was better, that's why we did a takeout.
