They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

We called Legacy Air to take advantage of their summer AC tune up special. When Kevin came out he explained to us what his visit will entail, which included taking a look at our furnace. That seemed odd to us since it was summer but he took the time to explain that 30% of the AC function is facilitated by the furnace. We've been in our home for 9 years. Every year we've had another company come out and service our AC and never have they explained to us that the AC and furnace work hand in hand nor did they look at the furnace when they came out to service the AC. After inspection of our AC unit Kevin came in and went over everything that is going on with the unit in full detail. He told us we had a leak, which we were aware of but he offered us the option to apply a seal to add to the fluid that he would add into the AC system and would be back in a month to see if it worked. We have never had any other company offer us the option of a seal. He spent 2 hours working on our system in this Las Vegas heat, all the while keeping in good spirits. At the end of the service, Kevin offered us a membership for a year that includes service for AC, furnace and plumbing. After the amazing service provided by Kevin and his trainee Javante, we couldn't turn down the membership. We've requested that Kevin be our service provider going forward.

Today's service appointment was the most concerning example. I maintain a paid annual club membership that includes maintenance for both my tankless water heater and HVAC system. The technician arrived nearly two hours late and appeared exhausted. Most troubling, the scheduled tankless water heater flush -- the primary purpose of the visit -- was never performed. Instead, the technician took photographs and left without completing the service. Two days prior to this appointment I seriously considered canceling my membership due to ongoing concerns with the company's declining service standards. Unfortunately, I decided to give Legacy one final opportunity and renewed the membership. The outcome of today's appointment unfortunately confirmed my concerns. As a result, I will now be pursuing a chargeback for services that were paid for but not delivered. This level of service is unacceptable. After five years as a loyal customer, I expected professional conduct, timely service, and completion of the work that was scheduled. I read numerous articles on the advantages of having ducts cleaned and decided on using E-ZZ Air Duct Services. I contacted them and spoke directly with the owner Zane. I explained our situation and also mentioned to him that our HVAC system was relatively new but had been serviced a year ago because of a bad damper unit. We agreed on a great price and time and he and Gage showed up on time ready to work. Before staring the cleaning process they inspect the HVAC units and surrounding area and thank god they did. Zane showed me that the duct work was partially separated from the HVAC unit and not only was heating/cooling the attic area, but was most likely contributing to the increased dust in our house. They offered to fix the problem and told me that due to the repairs needed that cleaning the ducts would not be possible for a couple of days. I informed Zane that I would have the installing HVAC company fix the problem and rescheduled the cleaning for two days later. Zane was quick to reschedule my service call and stated that there would be no charge for the additional service call even though there were considerable travel miles. Wow! Great Customer Service! Upon having the HVAC unit fixed, Zane and Gage arrived on the rescheduled date, on time and got to work. They proceeded to inspect, clean and evaluate all components of the HVAC system and provided outstanding communication during the process. They were careful of interior walls and furnishings and placed plastic covers over furnishing requiring such.
