I visited this nail salon only because it was around the corner from my beautician, I would walk past them sometimes. Their technicians looked like they did amazing jobs with nails. I wanted to try out the SNS. Tony did my nails. And he did a good job. Very personable and great customer service. He dipped my nails three times. But clearly it wasn't enough. I didn't have my nails for two days. 5 of them started to all crack in the same place. Right under the tips that he applied. And one cracked my natural nail in half. Which hurt like hell! I called the shop and tried to explain. I was told to send pictures of the damage. I did. No one responded, so I went up to the shop. The shop manager, who is HORRIBLE. His name is Steve and he is terrible. He has no hospitality. He is VERY RUDE and nasty. When. I showed him my nails, that I only had for two days. He claimed that "I broke my nails myself". I'm like wtf?!! Why would I do that??! Why would I pay $60 then physically harm myself and break all my nails IN THE SAME SPOT??!!! Plus I live all the way in MIDTOWN! YOU THINK I WANTED TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAY BACK TO BROOKLYN FOR FREE NAILS?!! True idiot. He sounded ridiculous and tried to argue with me in front of other customers. I told him not to speak to me and to send someone over with common sense to come and fix my nails THAT I PAID FOR! I will never give this place my money again. STEVE is HORRIBLE!! P.S. I've been going to this salon for the past 5 years and honestly it's a shit show lol. Everyone has their own favorite nail tech but the famous ones are Steven, Candy, Susan, and CK. I always go to Steven cause he likes to try new things when I ask for it and his shaping is nice, the problem is that they're so money hungry that they don't even remember me? I've been there for 5 years, going to the same person and you don't remember me? I feel like if I use your service for a long time I should be remembered? As far as the service, shaping is nice with Steven and he takes his time but.. if he had a long day he'll try to rush and file really fast to the point where I can feel the heat or end up cutting me a couple of times. I don't like that they're not sanitary, and practice no sanitation. Files are used on everyone without being cleaned, even the sink has a ONE nail cleaning brush for the customers.. that's nasty. They have so much potential to grow and master nail designs and shaping but they don't care to advance. They also buy their art from amazon and then try to charge you 5x more than they paid. read more

This has been my nail salon since 2010. I went away to school and came back. Their service is generally good but you always have your go to person. For me, that's Candy! She's the best, she can do anything and does it to perfection. She's very popular so sometimes you can't get to her. She also does my brows along with Steve who is also great. My backup nail tech is Cindy, she's awesome too. Both are attentive and care about your nails. One things for sure, they are never short of nail techs. I wanted long coffin nails but not extremely long, didn't know where to go, kept looking on here in yelp to find the best place, couldn't find anything and this place has little pictures here, long story short I asked my sister who's always doing her nails nonstop every two weeks and she recommended this place and she was very specific, she said to me go in there and ask for CK, don't let anyone else do your nails other than him. This place is almost always busy. Got my nails done on a Friday night. Got there at 4 and waited a whole hour for someone to do my nails. Wasn't finished with me until around 6. I understand it was busy but there was barely any communication until others were getting frustrated of waiting, while others were annoyed while getting their nails done. Make sure you ask how much your nails will cost BEFORE they start doing your nails. Depending on shape, style, type and design you may end up spending a lot more. I bought a picture of the nail design that I wanted before and the lady didn't know how to do it correctly. A lot of them don't speak English and don't understand either. I've been very patient and came to get my nails done here several times because I live so close by. I got French ombré nails done and it cost me $50!!!!!!! I asked if I could get it without the gel and my nail tech said that style of nail is GEL. So I said okay, I wanted to get stone design but the prices ranged from 2 for 8, 2 for 10/15/18; depending on design. I said forget about it. Although I'm happy with my nails, the service sucks. Go a on a day or time when it's not busy, like early morning or afternoon on a Weekday. Also, depending on who you get you may or may not be satisfied with your nails. I feel like the guys do a better job. I don't know the name of the girl that did my nails but she did a fine job. Next time I'll try mood color which I asked was $35 (regular nail shape) or maybe French tip (regular nail/tips) which is $5 extra. I don't get my nails done often; Only occasionally. They do everything illegally here and also do not follow normal precautions when doing nails, so be careful. They burn your nails, you'll leave with cuts and burns. I tip very high and they try to steal money and act like you're the one stealing. It's a ratchet place to say the least. Go to crossbay if you go here because you live in the area. In crossbay, they do your nails with care, you get a free 5 minute back massage, and it's CLEAN. read more

If you come here make sure you examine every single nail every single time you come here to make sure they are exactly how you want them before walking out the door. DONOT get comfortable with someone because they've done a good job every time because if the one time you don't like them and didn't pay attention and think oh it's no big deal, they cool, they will practice good customer service and fix them, you are in for a RUDE awakening! I have gotten my nails done once by Vicky and last 3 times by Steven. Every time it was for a filling. The last time was a new set. I have been happy with the job done in the past so I went in not thinking that I needed to examine every single nail before leaving. I came in a half hour before close thinking that they closed at 8 instead of 730. They close earlier on Sundays. At that point he should of said he didn't want to do my nails. But he took me at 7p. He rushed the whole process but I really wasn't worried because he always did a decent job and since it was a fresh new set I figured they would look even better since he's setting them himself from the beginning. He rushed the gel polish as well. But I didn't exam every nail and couldn't really tell with all the oil they put on them at the end to make them look nice and shiny. Anyway when I got home I realized that the acrylic was practically on my skin and cuticles. He made them too thick and didn't file them down and shape them enough to make them look as natural as I like them like he usually does. Some of them looked like press on nails. The gel polish was also not nicely done and can't just wash off in certain places like regular nail polish would over a day or two. Anyway I had to work Mon and Tues but came in at 5p on weds during this snow storm. And when I get there he and the woman that sits next to him just argued with me that I should have said something that night. I explained to him that I didn't notice until I got home. Anyway they refused to fix all of my nails. Only wanting to file down 1 or 2. And wanted to charge me to polish them again. The woman kept saying "you picky, you picky" and he kept saying "nails good, don't break, nails fine". YES I have to like my nails and am particular about how I want them. If it didn't matter then I could walk into any nail salon and not drive out to their place! So basically instead of just fixing my nails this one time that I am unhappy, they rather loose a customer who spends a minimum of $35 every 2 weeks and has no problems spending more. read more
