True buffet eaters know we shouldn't be expecting too much on the rate scale from buffets, especially here where it is not common. We're from CA where you can find buffets blocks from each other so we wanted to give this a try. The place is huge first of all. There's so much seating available. Very well kept. Service was great. Minimal talking with the waiter. TV's muted but on display. There are so many food options. Deliciously looking too. The Chinese food was good. The fried chicken entrees were definitely the same as every buffet, overcooked & tough. But those sauces they drown it in are so good!! The Mongolian grill is such a plus! Sushi was good. Way more options than we expected. I was definitely eating my money's worth in sushi. Sauce stations have delicious sauces. Dessert/fruit bar was good too. We're not the biggest fans of the overwatered "soft serve" ice cream at buffets even when it's included but they have a chocolate fountain, which paired well with the strawberries & marshmallows. The place is busy and they keep the Buffett clean. The food is fresh and tasty. If you are hungry it's a good place for your money. I was not impressed with the sushi but then again this is not a sushi restaurant. The wonton broth and wontons were good. I would not recommend the egg rolls as they did not have good vegetable filing. The salt and pepper shrimp was dry and required extra peeling not to eat the shells. Went here because someone in the family had seen it on their social, so they wanted to come. I came on a Saturday around 12:00. The food was fresh, hadn't been sitting around too long, but for some reason, most of it was pretty bland. There were different types of food- Chinese food, American, desserts, sushi, and other assorted goods. Everything was warm nothing was served cold or anything, but it just did not have a lot of flavor or spice. Even enough for just saying that it had a baseline. The best thing I had was there fresh steak that was being grilled at the moment as well as some of the ribs that were coming off of that grill. I may come back again, but it wasn't spectacular. Everything by you would want in a Chinese buffet! I was impressed by the variety of dishes and how much sushi they had for a buffet. I didn't try the Mongolian grill section but everything looked fresh and I appreciate you can get something made to order. I wasn't a fan of everything I put on my plate, but for the price of $20 for an adult dinner, you can definitely fill up on some good food. oh boy, do i love this place. I came here for the first time a year ago and it never fails to amaze me. we have become regulars for a while now. i enjoy everything they have there, but because it's a buffet, there's definitely an inevitable occurrence of food that isn't good. sometimes it's left out too long - but play the waiting game and they'll restock quickly. other than that, my favorite thing to get would be the lo mein noodles and the sweet and sour sauce to top it off. everybody is really nice there, attentive, and quick to refill our drinks. the location of the buffet is a little sketchy, but the food isn't. i highly recommend this place and you should go during 12-3 (i believe is when their lunch special is) and you'll get a cheaper price for the same food! read more

I'm very impressed with this place. We don't have many buffet options in Colorado Springs and the few we do have really miss the mark. This place really sets the bar high. So many options to choose from, trays are always being refilled with hot food, and everything seems fresh. We went for dinner and it was about $17 for an adult and $9 for my child. Reasonable buffet prices. There's an awesome sushi and salad selection, various entree choices, soups, and desserts. There is also a Mongolian BBQ section that we did not get to try but it looked very delicious and the options seemed fresh. My favorite menu options were the sushi, char siu ribs, and BBQ chicken. So many sushi choices and the sushi chefs were right there rolling fresh rolls as you walked by. The char siu ribs and BBQ chicken were so tender and flavorful. I would return just for these! All of the staff were so friendly. We were greeted so nicely at the door and our server made sure to check on us frequently and made sure our drinks were always full. Food amazing and the variety is better and I been to the Arvada location and never once seen fried bananas which is omggg so amazing! Service is amazing always had a refill on drinks very quickly! The environment is clean and amazing and I love all the lights and being Electrican I'm always looking at the decor! Everything is amazing and perfectly and reasonably priced! I'm sorry I've never written a review for this place but after reading several negative reviews, I had to say something. I think some of these people either work for the competition, are disgruntled ex employees, are confused about where they were eating or are outright lying. I have been an avid customer of this place for years, going at least once a week to every other week and I would like to think that I am extremely observant about cleanliness, food temperature, and whether something is fresh or not. I have never observed any of the things that some of these people are saying like cold food, soggy sushi, bugs, or whatever and I've never gotten sick from eating there. I definitely wouldn't eat at a place like that. They even mentioned dishes that this place has never even offered on the buffet. If this place was so bad, they definitely wouldn't get the amount of customers that they do. Look, I'm not saying it's totally perfect, but it's definitely not as bad as some of the reviews say it is. With the exception of the desserts and salad/cold food bar, I've had every hot dish offered there and have liked a great portion of it. I have never had cold food unless it was meant to be cold and the food has never been old. It goes pretty quickly and they fill it with fresh food as soon as it's almost gone. They also make the sushi right in front of you and put it out as soon as the previous rolls have been taken. It's not a sushi restaurant so don't expect it to be top notch sushi but it's definitely good sushi and I have my favorites. The best thing about this place is the Mongolian grill station, where you can choose your own fresh vegetables, meats, sauces and seasonings and they make it fresh right in front of you. They also have some great tasting hot and sour soup and egg drop soup. If I'm eating there, it's usually during lunch... well, because it's cheaper than dinner and the dinner menu doesn't see too many different additions to make up for the price difference. Living a few miles from this place, I would usually get the food to go(paid by the pound) and it would still be hot by time I got it home and I can take my time with it, plus, I can fill up a container and have so much more food and selection than any stand alone Chinese restaurant would give for the price. When eating there, I was never hovered over or forgotten and my used plates would disappear when I went for my next round. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. All in all, this is the best all you can eat Chinese buffet restaurant in the Springs. read more

King Buffet has the most excellent Chinese ribs and Mongolian BBQ. They additionally have a sushi bar and you can see the guys preparing them fresh. All of their food is fresh and tasty. Service has always been good! The restaurant is decorated nicely and always extremely clean. The price is great and there are so many entrees to choice from. Definitely recommend them. read more

The Mongolian section does not have much selection in sauces so it's no Hu Hot but it will do. All the shrimp cooked different ways and cocktail shrimp weren't deveined and cleaned. Sushi is warm. The waiters literally hover over your table making you feel rushed and not even ready to leave but if they see you with some kind of dessert in front of you they proceed to bring the check. read more

When you go to a buffet, they tell you the price and your soft drink is usually included. The price was $18.99 for adults. However after not eating hardly anything from the buffet. The price for the 2 of us was $48! Just disgusting. They give you an additional charge for your cup of soda too! I would classify this place as a low class, 3rd rate Chinese restaurant.
