This was one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. It's too bad because the service was fantastic, the restaurant ambience is great and it's clean, but honestly, you go in for food right, so when the food's bad, you're disappointed. We tried three different dishes and they were either over seasoned, underseasoned, or the meat was completely dry.

Steamed mixed veggies with extra onion and mushrooms
    Meechelle F.

I placed an online order due to the reviews I read on Yelp. I must say the food is good. I loved the steamed veggies but there were not enough mushrooms. The chicken wings were crispy just like I requested. The crab rangoons were ok at best. They were lacking filling so it was ok. The egg rolls were ok. I'm use to spring tools being this small. For the price that was charged for each item I was disappointed with the egg rolls and rangoons!!!! Placing an order online was quick and easy. They got my order just right with no issues on that part.

    Hot and Sour Soup

I wanted takeout tonight and decided to try Shangri-La. I'm new to the area so this is my first time here. Staff were friendly and quick service but food is definitely lacking. Flavors are incredibly bland on the "barbecue" pork, and Hot and Sour Soup ended up having a couple pieces of long hair embedded in the chicken and tofu bits. All that said, I appreciate the service but food just wasn't good.

    Dinner Combo $2.00 price.
    Dan P.

The Dinner Combo is listed for $2.00 on their menu when I googled their website. When I inquired about the price I was told they would not honor the price and gave me ridiculous reasons why the price was $2.00 on their website as well as why they would not honor the price. I spoke to Phillip who has no customer service skills.

Food is good. But the portions are small for the outrageous price. Packed well and tasty. Just WAY too expensive. $90 for three people.

The cup of bacon is fatty, salty, with a tiny bit of sweetness. The ricotta gnocchi bolognese has some amazing fresh gnocchi. The bolognese sauce was okay so it's a fine dish but I probably wouldn't get it again. The duck poutine has delicious fresh fries that end up crisp topped with tons of cheese and gravy. I went solo and decided to sit at the bar where they had three bartenders that would rotate with all the customers making it very efficient and great coverage. The food was very inventive; not your typical fare even for a bistro. I started with the lobster tater tots that were served with ranch. He had the perfect amount of seafood flavor and a super crispy outer; I would recommend. Next, I had the ginger pork and crispy rice dish. This had a large helping of pork that did well with the Asian flavors and that crispy rice for texture; I would recommend. My final was the miso butterscotch tart. You can't go wrong with a dessert that has butterscotch, Biscoff, marshmallow and miso. The only criticism I could make was that the tart was pretty loose, but that did not take away from the flavor. To drink this place has lots of beer taps, a good selection of wine and plenty of interesting cocktails. I chose to have a couple beers and they were both very tasty. I would like to come back with additional people so that we could try more of the menu items. Unfortunately, it is an hour away from where I live, but the next time I find myself down in the springs, I will return.

I recommend adding the meatballs or lobster if you like that. Desserts were par for the course: chocolate cake and cheesecake when we went. Definitely recommend!

From the moment you walk in, the immersion is incredible. The outside is set up as Castle Byers, and then you walk through a short hallway designed to look like the middle school dance floor from Season 2. Right away, you know they put real thought into the details. Once you enter the main seating area, it gets even better. They had Chrissy on the ceiling from Season 4 (yes, that scene), the couch from the Byers' house, and the iconic alphabet wall with the Christmas lights. Our table even had a Pac-Man game built in that we could play while we waited--such a cool touch. The themed menu was great, with a whole lineup of Stranger Things-inspired drinks. I ordered the waffle sliders, which are tiny waffles with a burger inside, served with fries. They were absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and savory at the same time. My son ordered the large TV-tray-style plate inspired by the show, complete with turkey and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, and more. Everything on his plate was genuinely delicious and comforting. Even though the Stranger Things pop-up is no longer available (they rotate themes--SpongeBob is currently up), I'm so glad we made the drive. The experience was fun, immersive, the food was solid, and we got a ton of great pictures. I would absolutely do it all over again and can't wait to see what theme they roll out next. If you enjoy themed dining experiences, the Wobbly Ollie is 100% worth the trip.

Well, that's par for the course with my family. They'd beg me to take them to Mars and upon arrival demand we go to the beach. Well, obviously I couldn't deliver on the latter, but I could deliver on the former. Even though you could make a legitimate argument that my decision contributed to the very drought situation this state is in. Anyways to the review. We ordered dinner from Sushi Ato. We chose this restaurant because 1. It was close to where we were staying and 2. it had more than the minimum number of stars to reassure me that the sushi is fresh. Our order consisted of two Philadelphia rolls, two Caterpillar rolls, an Alaskan Snow roll. We also got a Spicy Chicken Miso Ramen and the Seared Cajun Tuna. Unfortunately, we ordered takeout so I can't comment on the service. However, I did go inside and the restaurant nice. I'm thinking great for a date. It was spacious, nice afternoon sun, lots of windows, quiet. Certainly nicer than a box sit down restaurant. What I lack in dining knowledge about Sushi Ato I can make up for in food quality, quantity, and cost. First, food quality seemed good to me. All of the sushi looked, smelled and, tasted fresh. All of the rolls were a standard size with six to eight pieces. Our rolls by themselves fed one and a half adult females, one newly minted teenager, and a four year old. As for the prices, to me they were what I expected, about $13 to $15 per roll. As for the non-sushi items, the Seared Cajun Tuna was delicious. Cooked well, with a nice pink on the inside and well spiced on the outside. IMO the Cajun spices were more flavorful than spicy (hot). The only bad part, as is the case with most takeout, was that it was not overly pleasing to the eyes sitting in its takeout container. Lastly, the Spicy Chicken Miso Raman was tasty and not overly spicy. Furthermore, when we opened the container there was a ton of food. I bet two adults could make a good dinner out of this bowl, maybe with an appetizer or two. However, our bowl fed the other half of the adult female and our second newly minted teenager. But that's saying something! Teenagers are good at bringing their A game to a table and this one is no different. But, the bowl held its own and she walked away satisfied. Overall, I recommend Sushi Ato. Is it going to knock your sox off, maybe or maybe not. But, if you're jonesing for some sushi or a nice ramen bowl and you happen to be in Colorado Springs, on the north east side of the city you're in luck! Because that's right where it is!

The salad bar has about everything you could wish and the Brazilian lemonades are top notch. Passion fruit and raspberry are my personal favorites. This is one of our go to stops in Colorado Springs and in the past we've attended their chefs night, where we got to try delicacies from different regions, which was a lot of fun. Wheelchair accessibility: in general this restaurant is actually very accessible. The front doors are heavy and there's a double door set up but plenty of room between the two doors to navigate. The front desk is very high so someone in a shorter chair or short statured might have a harder time getting someone's attention. The door to the bathroom is very light and there's an accessible stall, but the soap in the bathroom is out of reach. The largest impediment to your culinary experience would probably be that the salad bar counter is too high for an average wheelchair user or little person. I'm sure the staff would help or you could have somebody in your party assist, but it would be difficult to navigate on your own. There are several accessible parking spots.

They have a very nice salad bar, with side dishes to go along with the meat. We love Brazilian barbecues, and I've been going to them for almost all of my adult life. The problem with this place, at least for us, is that they hardly brought us any beef. We were there for almost a half hour before the first guy came by with meat. He gave me a little sliver of sirloin that was about the size of half a strip of bacon. About 15 minutes later somebody gave me a cold chunk of turkey wrapped in bacon. And then somebody came by with some roasted pineapple which we weren't interested in. Suffice it to say, we only got small little slivers of beef, and this was frustrating because what we did receive tasted great, but they hardly ever came by and the slices they gave us were extremely small. We were basically starving to death and so we ended up having to feed ourselves from the salad bar. I had a black bean soup that was pretty good, and a salad. I would say in the hour and a half we were there I didn't get 6 ounces of beef. My wife and daughters had given up in pretty much up on waiting for meat and they just snacked on the salad bar stuff. So they got even less. Given the price point on this lunch, it was not a good deal at all. I mentioned to one of the guys who cut the meat at the table that we really wanted some more steak. He gave a very insolent response, with a scowl and a shrug of the shoulders. Very bad vibes. Would I go here again? Maybe we just caught the place on a bad day. But there were only a handful of other patrons there while we were there, and so I don't know why the service was so horrible. It was not a good experience and it wasn't worth even a fraction of what we paid. This was more of a salad bar experience than it was a Brazilian barbecue. I maybe would try this place one more time because I love Brazilian barbecues, and to the best of my knowledge there are none other in the area. But overall it was a very bad experience and I only give it two stars because the salad bar was acceptable.
