One last meal, and I know my crew and I know I can keep everyone happy at a Chinese buffet. Everyone gets what they want and all you can eat. The even have some American stuff like French fries, pizza and ribs. Price is around $20 per person with tax and a little tip. The service is typical Asian buffet, they fill the drinks if asked and clear the plates, not a lot of conversation going on. Inside the place is decent sized, not a little mom and pop. They have a Mongolian Grill thingy and sushi along with all the usual American Chinese foods. Hot and sour as well as egg flower soup along with noodles and deep fried stuff and yes, the general and his chicken! The place is decently clean, but yeah, there's the usual sloppy foods from sloppy customers at the buffet. Put the tongs back in the same place you took them from , please! I came here with a friend late in the evening. The food from the buffet tasted off. The stir fry was good, but everything else tasted really old. I had to spit out some of my food because it had clearly gone bad. The next day, my friend and I both had food poisoning symptoms. Horrible. The worst part is, as we were sitting there watching them clean up for the night, we saw them packing up the food to serve it again the next day. That is scary. If you can get beyond the risk of food poisoning, I will say the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The prices were also not bad, $18 per person on a Saturday night for buffet. Went with some family for a big lunch and it had a very enjoyable, good and varied selection of foods, though nothing really stood out outside of the Mongolian grill. The beef is deliciously cooked and the fact that you can have as much as you want is a treat. Great price and lots of choices! Weekends are super crowded so plan accordingly. We don't live close by but it's worth the drive.

Decent food. Although some of it you can tell it had been sitting awhile. The hibachi is ok. Me and my sisters food some how got mixed up with other peoples so we had to remake them. For a buffet, this is a really good option. Probably not great for kids but great for big groups that can't decide on a restaurant especially if they're interested in Chinese food and Mongolian style restaurant. The one thing that I would say is, I would really prefer that they peel the shrimp or have peeled shrimp available to throw in the Mongolian dish. You can grab shrimp from the salad bar. Worst Chinese food ever! Overcooked burn and overpriced. We sent it back and they charged us for it anyway. They charge by the pound for wasted food even if it's their fault. Someday Yelp will listen to my requests and allow us to include half stars. In my opinion, there's a big difference in 3 stars (a rating I give someone who didn't meet my standards) and 4 stars (a place I'd definitely go to again but didn't knock my socks off). King Buffet deserves a solid 3.5 stars. I'm a sucker for asian buffets, and this isn't your asian buffet of the 90s. This is probably the best Asian buffet in Utah county. They have a large variety of entrees with sushi and a Mongolian grill. They have a really cool semi-sweet chocolate fountain and the inside is beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are clean and smell nice. The staff is friendly and on point. Like with any buffet, the food tends to get mushy or tough as it stays under the warming lights. Other that, this is a good little spot for all you can eat at a good price. read more

Okay let's be honest. It's a buffet. It's likely not going to be 5-star food. But overall, decently good. I didn't leave grossed out (although full). But not overly amazed by any of the food either. The selection is definitely ginormous. They have a large salad bar, the classic jello, desserts and canned fruit section, four other rows that include fish, fried foods, and more classic kinds of Chinese foods. They also have a sushi bar and a Mongolian grill. And of course some dessert options (ice cream and even a chocolate foundation). Being new, it's very clean and well taken care of now. I won't lie, the food here absolutely destroys my intestines, but I love the food so much I keep coming back. I learned not to trust the sushi with my condition pretty quick, but the Mongolian style BBQ bowls they have are incredible. There's a good amount of selection but the food is very old, it tastes stale and hard especially the sushi, if u leave food they charge extra by the pound which to me isn't right because of the quality of the food. The staff is nice so nothing wrong at all with them so I don't want them to be dinged but the food was terrible tasting and the seafood was grey in color which is not how it's supposed to look I think it had been sitting out for quite awhile. It's hard for me to leave a 3 star review for a restaurant, as a 2-star already means "not recommended at all". The food presentation is great, and the facility is clean, well maintained, with friendly staff. The food on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. Came here for my sister's birthday, and only one or two items that I tried were acceptable. I found some items undercooked, and overall just plain bad. This is the only 1 star review I have left at any restaurant I've been to plenty of Asian buffets to know what to expect as far as the food goes but this was a different level. After tasting the food and immediately noticed it was not right I left the plate there and drank all of my drink. No service from the waiter as she kept walking by after saw me spitting out my white fish I thought she would of asked anything. Or to refill the empty drink and still see a full plate of food. After about 20 minutes I got up and went to the front desk and they said " have a nice day" I could of just walked out then but said "I'm trying to Pay " She said go back to your table for your check. Being Asian and having lived in Asia there was no real high expectations on the quality of the food. When you walk in and then the corner you will immediately see the sushi chefs preparing food and a Mongolian grill with various of food everywhere. This is definitely been Americanize to the point that everything seems to blend into a few different things. 1. Greasy 2. Fatty 3. Oily 4. Quantity not quality. For example, there sushi is aweful and everything seems to be over cooked or dry. The only good thing about this place is it's prob the best buffet in Utah County. If you want a cheap meal for $13.97 (includes tax for one person) then this is the place. If your looking for trying certain Asian foods for the first time then come here because it's cheap. Highs: Solid buffet, better than most. Spacious, bright, clean. The variety of items is impressive! You'll find all the expected dishes along with some new dishes I haven't seen elsewhere. Half-cut crab, house rolls, thai chicken, jalapeno chicken, a chocolate fountain, etc. Mongolian grill was stellar, including the thinly-sliced cuts of beef. Every buffet item containing seafood, chicken or something fried was solid. Lows: The busyness can give off a cafeteria-like feeling. Dining rooms are separated (thankfully), but still a bit noisy. Not intimate or relaxing as you might want for a date night out. The staff checking on buffet items use a wireless headset mic to give kitchen orders in Chinese over a loudspeaker. Sushi was mostly bland. Beef within buffet items was inedible for me. I expect we'll go back. The sheer volume & variety makes it a fun adventure. read more

My family and I went to celebrate my mom's birthday last Saturday, and it was a blast off!!! The service was amazing, all the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The food so so good with a lot of seafood choices, their Mongolian grill also amazing and my favorite part is their sushi selections .. The server that served us was making my mom a birthday cake, and they bring up the vibes with so much fun!!! Whenever my water level was below half, they would come immediately to refill it. When there was just a few plates they would take it, to give us more space in our table. I will definitely bring my family back to eat again!!!! read more

Sometimes Chinese's food just sounds good when you skip breakfast and take your lunch break at work. Chinese food (American Chinese) is probably my least favorite. I took advantage of the Mongolian grill in which you choose every ingredient that goes into your grilled dish; noodles, meats, veggies, sauces. It was good, but my preferences to other cultural food will probably never take me back. The price was fair (lunch was $8.95) and the place was clean with good service. They have a huge variety of dishes and I'd give the quality a 4/5. The WORST experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I was harassed by a customer and management did NOTHING! **WARNING THIS MAN IS A REGULAR APPARENTLY.** I went in to get the Mongolian grill to go, and a man dressed in pajamas entered about the same time. He was saying some bizarre things and I thought he might be on the phone, he was not. He very loudly and consistently talked to me while I was there.
