My wife and some of her friends came and were quite disappointed. The chicken wings were overcooked. The warming trays were not keeping the food hot. The group attributed part of the problem was that they came in the mid-afternoon when the lunch crowd had departed and the buffet staff had let down their attentiveness. The most surprising thing about eating here is that you won't get sick after eating the food. It surprised me for sure because the food is your normal American-Chinese buffet that you can find anywhere, except it's poorly prepared. The food is hardly seasoned and overly greasy. The sushi and sashimi I can't really judge because I only ate one bite and the rubbery texture of the tuna made me spit it out and push the plate away I would eat literally anywhere else before eating here again. read more

Food wasn't that good. I've been here 3 times. The bathroom is disgusting! My sister fell in the stall because of the water leaking from the toilet. There was a red stain on the toilet as well. Good food, service is ok and the waitresses not very appreciative. This is a buffet so literally all the waitress did was bring drinks and occasionally when she wasn't talking with her friend come clean the dirty plates off the table. We left a $3 tip, to me that's more then enough. Had she been being out our food too they her tip would have been more. The barbecue crabs tasted rotten. The stuffing in the stuffed crab was dark brown from being reheated. The green beans had good texture but lacked flavor. The hot and sour soup was a bland goopy goop. The cereal bars were creative but stale and inedible. All and all it lacked freshness and seemed to be sitting out all day. The worst buffet I've ever been to. The waiters/waitresses don't even speak English. The food is not labeled, as a person who doesn't eat pork, I had a very hard time choosing, so I just went with seafood. I sat down not expecting much of the crawfish in August. But! Grey meat inside of shellfish is an issue. When I told the lady she told me they where frozen, my reply was frozen or not, this can make people very sick. Her response to me was if I don't like it don't eat it. Completely disgusting! Normally I very much enjoy the food here, not so much at lunch on 1-12-19. Arrived around 11:30 or so. Some of the food was cold, should have been hot. Some of the food had been on the steam table way too long and was dried out tasted more like jerky. Good assortment of food, sushi has been better. Will go back but not real soon read more

They have great food and great service. We have been going there for about two years. The wait staff are very nice and friendly. The rolls that they serve are tasty and fluffy light as air. King Buffet, Port Arthur, Texas . Saturday the 10th of August 2019. From Tennessee to Texas. Went to King Chinese Buffet today. At 3:30 when we got there they were still loading the food bar. Good hot fresh Chinese food. It was great. Anything you want is there on the buffet. Great and polite service with a smile. Good atmosphere. Just tonight I ordered for take out there, asked for pork fried rice ordered no peas, carrots or egg and then also order.bbq boneless spareribs , well rice tasted like mush, like over boiled rice with fatty pork chunks, boneless ribs tasted like salted pork dipped in a watery red sauce they were not bbq and rubbery!!! read more

Its good for buffet Chinese food. Ive been there 3 times this last month. Its been good everytime. Its not a huge buffet, and it doesn't have my fav orange chicken. My family used to eat here every few months. However, the food quality and service has really declined the last few times we went. The taste used to be good but now it's just mediocre. Our waitress spent most of her time chatting with her coworkers and seemed really annoyed when she came to wait on our table of three.
