The food is either old, cold or has gone bad. The service was okay, the workers do not listen when you tell them about their food. Which is so dangerous, could get sick. Do not eat here unless you'd like to risk getting food poisoning. Food was old, noticeably reheated a couple times, and also not at the proper holding temperature. Charged $53 for 1 adult, 1 14 year old and a 7 year old on a Saturday and we ate basically nothing! I got food poisoning here and went to the ER! STAY AWAY! Workers were nice and there's little toy vending machines, but the food was not good! My family and extended family came here to eat lunch and we all ended up with food poisoning! We all ate different foods, so unsure what might have caused it. Maybe the water or the mussels? This place SUCKED ass. But the ice cream and ribs were pretty good I guess. As someone who's NEVER been picky this place has RUINED that..I can't even look at Chinese food the same after this experience. The service was a 50/50 they would walk around and watch you as you ate to see a reaction on how your meal was AND they would roll their eyes when they'd walk away to give you a refill, but honestly it was kinda freaky and NOT in a good way! (If ykyk). The tables were dirty and the sauce was TERRIBLE!!!! The music was Okay.. but overall I would rather eat out of a burger kings trash can at 3AM like a raccoon with rabies than go back to this awful buffet again. Shit..I just went to UCR buffet and they had the worst buffet ever..messed up uncrispy, overbought chicken legs..and not meat other than chicken..all for 18.99. Comparatively..this place is like heaven. Recently the prices went to 11.99.. still a bargain with how much I can eat. Also the sushi offering declined this year..so sad. But take away ALL the sushi..still a deal. And weekends 15.99..they have snow crab legs..shoot..you can only buy a bowl of pho with 15.99 nowadays. So people stop complaining and just go eat. Like I said this ain't no Makinos Las Vegas or Wynn dinner buffet with stone crab claws..but you are not paying 45.99 or 105 dollars. Stopped by for lunch it was $10 very cheap. The ambiance was okay kind of run down but plenty of tables and it was still clean. Food was better since it was about 2pm so it will be a lot more fresh earlier in the day in my opinion. Last time I came the health rating was a C now it is a B definitely an improvement. Also, the health inspector was there at the time I was there coincidentally so it's good to see that they are following code and taking steps for improvement. Definitely love the Christian music service was good. We asked for sushi and they gave us some at our table Very beautiful fresh sushi rolls. Also went to the stirfry section and customized a beef & chicken stirfry with garlic onions some broccoli very good selection. The ice cream section was my favorite self serve thrifty ice cream yum so many flavors ex cotton candy , orange, cookies and cream etc .. deserts were good not a fan of the cream puffs but the cake was good. I don't understand why people complain about this place . I go often to Chinese buffets .This is one of the good ones. First thing you see when you walk in that is very clean. Is it also updated. The food is very good I don't know why all those complaints. The food is fresh , the sushi taste good and there isn't one thing I tried and I didn't like. All those who complain were here probably with a full stomach or they were influenced but other reviews.
