Well everything I read about this place is true. Food is cold and old. They have no idea how to market themselves so people won't leave bad reviews and want to come back. We went yesterday and the food was not good at all the cheese wontons where old and over cook taste horrible the fried shrimp some of them were cooked okay and the others were undercooked and old too the Mongolian was okay but we had to wait a while to get somebody to cook it for us which was ridiculous they should have somebody there. Then we left the place and we got sick to our stomachs and had diarrhea from having bad food my nephew even vomited I would not recommend this place to go to. Don't expect a friendly greeting at the door. Walk in, be seated and take your chances. The quality of the food is horrendous from the tiny, slimy shrimp to the imitation crab soaked in butter in an attempt to make it palatable. The options are plenty but it's a lot of bad dishes that look scary. The best items were the corn on the cob and the ice cream but who can go wrong with those two dishes. Literally discussing! My family used to love this place and it was so good but that was back in the 2000's . Now In 2023 this place is unsanitary, food was either under cooked , old or Burned . I thought the food was just fine. In fact, I'd say it's better than it was prior to the whole coronavirus nonsense. That aside, I've been twice within a month, and both times, we waited in the waiting area, and no one acknowledged us for over 15 minutes and we eventually called the restaurant from our phone simply to get someone's attention. While waiting in line, I witnessed multiple families leave and not wait around. I genuinely suspect that they were making sure that the food on the bar was out prior to seating us, but it would have been nice had someone simply said acknowledged that we were there. I'd have let this go had they apologized for the wait. That never happened. Perhaps I'm over reacting, however simple courtesy matters to me. Again, this happened both times I've been here. When we finally sat down, our server was just not friendly. I don't expect him/her to talk to me and discuss a life story, but I absolutely expect them to smile and pretend to be glad I'm there. I would never ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn't do myself, and I've been a server. It's fair to say they did their job, but that's it. I guess my point is, come for the food, but don't expect anything else. I highly recommend just getting water, you'll save about $3.00/glass (They hardly refill anyway). read more

After reading the recent reviews and having not been then for more than 4 years I decided to go and see if the $9.99 lunch buffet is as bad as reported. After visiting I can't say that I disagree with the low evaluations and ratings. The lunch buffet runs from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and costs $9.99 ($10.87 with tax). The food definitely is NOT fresh and has obviously been sitting and recycled for DAYS. I started with the salad and the lettuce was OK and cucumber and tomato mix was mostly OK (used green tomatoes for some rather than ripe ones) and there were plenty of boiled eggs. You can't really mess up a boiled egg cut in half. The absolute WORST was the rice/fried rice with the scattering of peas and corn and in it. There were no scattered eggs in it and it was absolutely TERRIBLE. The rice was mostly mushy like it was overcooked, but then there were dried crunchy parts like it had been out for days and just been stirred around occasionally. Next worst were the rangoons. Those were as old and dry as could be and barely edible, but I choked them down because I can't bring myself to waste food. . . . The cheese pizza definitely had a lot of cheese on it. The cheese on top was as thick as the crust, at least 1/4" of it. The chow mien was also obviously old, with mushy noodles that barely hung together. One thing that keeps things edible is the sriracha sauce on the tables, but they also switched that to a different brand (but it tastes about the same so it is good enough). The fruit area was OK and some picked out darker yellow pineapple pieces were actually really good. I have to say I WILL NOT be returning anytime soon. It isn't worth the $9.99 plus tax for OLD FOOD that is not cooked right to begin with. I really think they must need a new cook or cooks. Things just didn't seem well made and even if you can't stand to waste food, trying to feed people old dried out stuff is criminal. Maybe if they send out advertising in the mail with the weekly ads with a $5 coupon I might return to see if it is always as bad, but I won't be going back to pay $10+ for that kind of food when I could get plenty full on $10 from Del Taco or somewhere else. read more

Wow is this place a total DIVE! The food was dry, the rice was dry and clumped and burned. The orange chicken was raw in the middle. The Sushi was not fresh, and most plates were empty. The bathrooms looked like someone tossed in a grenade. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp consisted of ketchup in a big bowl. How the health department hasn't shut this place down, remains a mystery! Lunch is now $5.99/person, the $4.99 promo is history. Still a good deal considering the variety of food being served. I always start with a plate of Mongolian BBQ. While it's being cooked, I'd pick up a plate of sushi (average quality), a cup of soup, then come back for the BBQ. Tofu in the miso/tofu soup are chunky with plenty of seaweeds. Egg drop and wanton soup looks OK, but I prefer to have wanton in my hot & sour soup. The ice cream cones are extra small so take two while you are at it. The bottom line is I'll be back. read more
