This was my first time here and I got a to go order which costs $15.14 with tax for an adult dinner (no longer the $11.49 price on the yelp menu photo). They had a good variety of foods with little to no redundancy so each dish was distinctive and well seasoned. The restaurant was well lit, very clean and well maintained. They even give you gloves to protect your hands from the shared serving utensils. There's plenty of hand sanitizer available and all staff and guests were wearing masks. I arrived less than a half hour before closing so I wasn't expecting everying to be plentiful and super fresh but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were still replenishing the food even that close to closing! Everything I got was delicious! I was particularly impressed with the sushi where just a basic California roll was made with very little rice which was soft and well seasoned and they use a good tasting surimi (also used their crab salad with olives that was very good) that wasn't tough or fishy tasting. Hate to give it a 2 star because the people are nice but I have 3 little girls and had they been with me today they may have choked on a bone. There were bones in the fish(teriyaki salmon). The buffet is very yummy when the food is fresh and kept full. we have ate here multiple times because I get a craving for sushi and Chinese food.. well there has not been ONE time where my water was filled within 5-10 minutes of it being empty. They would clear our plates and they would obviously see I didn't have water but wouldn't fill it till I either waved them over or waited till they finally noticed. I went there a couple months ago it was 8pm we went to the buffet and there wasn't anything out like they trying to save food or something. There's a lot of customers and no food being cooked. When we asked them where all the food was at they took there sweet ass time to cook it when they are supposed to make sure there's food till 9pm smfh. Gross food. Agree with previous reviewer - the rap music is LOUD and obnoxious. Food not hot and if I get sick later it will not surprise me. I revisited this place after not going for 3 years. Last time I was there, I got very sick, let's hope this time I live to see another day. I was invited for lunch this time. I must say that the food here is really, really bland. I tried a few of there dishes that included potstickers, orange chicken, fried rice, sweet sour chicken, pizza, fries, spinach w/cheese. Also, all the food was really cold. If I were to have a blind fold around me and these dishes were served to me, I would not be able to distinguish which was which because none had any flavor! Food is decent. However,they advertise crab legs but will only have one tray and once it is gone no more crab legs. King Buffet is a scam stay away unless you intend to rent out half the restaurant for a party. I booked half the restaurant for about 100 people and paid l less $1000 for food and drinks. Normally to cook to entertain that many people usually cost me close to $3,000. So there is a positive but if it is your belly choose somewhere else. read more

Horrible service and not so great food! The waiters are sooooooooo unprofessional I get it that they need breaks , but all the waiters take lunch breaks all together and leaves us the customers without a refill on our drinks! And then the food could have been better they use spaghetti noodles for the chow mein which makes the food very bland and no flavor. We went here at 7:30pm Sunday , a big buffet place but no food! Most of the food was out when we were there. Never seen a buffet place with 14 empty trays just in one food area, 14 totally empty trays, pretty much all main dishes were out, We should have just left, staying to wait for food was just a wrong decision. I had some soup, can't remember what other food we had on the plate that time, couple of dish brought out later but take too long to see another dish. I complained to the manager, he said they close the kitchen to clean at 7:30pm! ?? Do they expect all late customer to clean the left over?? ?? a older couple at front of us was complain the same thing. The fact that I am a professional truck driver forces me to eat many of my meals at various places such as restaurants, fast food places etc. I have gone to several buffets for quite awhile and the one that seems to satisfy my hunger the most when I do go is the King buffet that is located on Mooney Blvd. Visalia Ca. The variety of food that one can select is great. The roast beef is awesome. It is the only buffet that I know of that offers corn on the cob at all times. Its a buffet with sushi for $10.50. We went in the last hour so some of the food wasn't new, but a soon as we asked for more of anything, they brought it out fresh. The variety of foods was good. We are just visiting, but we were satisfied with the food and the friendliness of everyone except the Hispanic hostess who seemed to be bothered to have to walk us to a table.
