I gave this place 4 out of 5 because the furniture is really outdated , our table was lopsided and the chairs were dirty. They have no wi-fi. In my opinion the beer on tap should have more variety. However, the waitress Angie was really nice and The food was good!! The drinks were also really good. Looks like they were shortstaffed, but they were still able to get our food on time. I would go back again but maybe sit in another area like outside where it might be cleaner. read more

Great customer service. Came in as a party of 10 and were seating promptly. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself has a lot of dive bar wood features. The menu has a diverse range of food options from American, Mexican, and Italian and there is an extensive drink menu. Portions are large and dishes are flavorful. My only qualm is that my shrimps texture was dry at the ends and did not taste to be of the freshest quality. That being said the Safari Shrimp Botana had an amazing flavor and was a lot better then many seafood boil restaurants. read more

We were tired from a day up in Kings Canyon. This place was recommended by our hotel. First impression was that neither the decor nor the vibe matched the name "Safari." It had a dive bar vibe but I can see why it's popular with the locals. They accommodated our large party of ten and we were seated promptly. I'd say service was a little inconsistent. We had many servers. Some were friendly and warm. Others came off slightly impatient with us. We took a while to order and had two babies. Food came out piping hot and delicious! My shrimp tacos had fresh ingredients and were packed with tons of flavor. The tacos were topped with huge slabs of avocados, which I thought was odd. Recommend to me by a guy at the car wash. I ordered the most basic thing, a carne asada burrito in red sauce. Really good. Meat had flavor, rice was tasty beans had salt. The food was delicious I had the hamburger medium rare and they delivered. My lady had the safari chip and they were equally delicious, and had a huge amount. The service wasn't great I tried getting the attention of the waitress and waiter, me and my lady were sitting thier for 10 minutes. Wasn't till one of the waitress passed right in front of me were I couldn't be ignored that I finally got the service we needed, it also wasn't busy their was 5 or 6 helpers and 4 or 6 tables to attend. It also gives me more of a bar vibe than a restaurant it so dark and stuffy in their, but that's my opinion ik some people do like that but I like more natural light. We ordered a bit of everything! Fish (pescado) ceviche tasted fresh. The molcajete was spicy, very spicy, but the meats were delicious. The pasta was sooooo tasty and flavorful! Carne asada pizza made for a great appetizer. Puff and the michelada 10/10! In my opinion Safaris has the best micheladas in the area. The service was good, check in frequently. Horrible, horrible service this time around. I've been here a couple of times. I only come when I'm in town. This time we got there a little around 11 and we're seating right away in their patio. Probably 30mins later the waitress came and took our drink and food order since they were taking forever. The place had a couple tables but it wasn't like it was packed. It took them literally an hour, AN HOUR to bring our beers and soda!!!! The food was good.. the appetizer shrimp Bontana came out after our main course did; Another annoying thing. I am in town on a work-related trip and was looking for a good place to grab a dinner. I went in about 8 and while the service was good, the food left a lot to be desired. For starters, I ordered a $20 shrimp plate which came with a measly 6 shrimps. While I know mariscos are expensive in general, I've never seen a skimpier plate. The rice was also lacking. I almost think they may have been on their last batch and just didn't want to wait to make more or didn't have more due to the time. 6 shrimp for $20 is almost criminal. Also, the flavor was not good. As I said, the service was good, however, the food is not. If you're looking for a well-served plate, you won't find it here. read more

Menu is a little of everything- hence Safari. A hidden gem. A must stop if you are in the area or staying at the nearby hotel. Food and drinks all looked and tasted DELICIOUS, unfortunately the customer service was seriously lacking. I've been here about 2 handfuls of times and can attest to the food here being good, great at times but occasionally (like today) it was just okay. Service depends on how busy it is. After today I don't know if I'll return. Something about today's visit set me in the meh mood, so this review might be a sad goodbye. Might. Went to safari club and loved everything about it. I'm very picky when it comes to restaurants and service and they had some of the best service in Tulare county. Server was attentive and everything came out fast. The michelada was authentic and had the perfect blend of spicy and sour. I also had the Carne Asada pizza and the meat was seasoned well, tender and tasted fresh. The pizza could easily be shared so for 13 bucks it was a steal. I would have never thought to put carne asada on a pizza, but it worked really well. My friends ordered the birria tacos and shrimp tacos and they both looked amazing. Growing up nearby, I always knew about this place. It pretty much is the go to spot in Dinuba. Great Micheladas, great atmosphere and awesome small club in the evening. Wide variety of drinks to choose from. I love the micheladas though. So good. I have only ordered food a handful of times but so far, food has been okay. Kinda like above average bar food but not quite authentic restaurant quality. Overall, not a bad place to grab a drink and some grub. Try it and you won't be disappointed. read more

We are in Dinuba for a wedding. We found an awesome place for dinner last night. We started with 2 dinner salads, the Dijon mustard dressing was delicious, then we split a dozen raw oysters they were so fresh. We split the molcajete, it was huge, we even had some to go. I had 2 mojitos and hubby had 2 beers. Then dessert. The bill was only $100. I wish we lived closer. The service was amazing and the food delicious. read more

I went there for dinner with my parents and my siblings, sat there for an hour waiting for my food. After an hour everyone in my family got their food except for me. After about 15 more minutes when my family was about halfway through their meal the waitress comes over and asks if I need anything...... politely I asked why I hadn't received my meal but everyone else did?! She said she didn't know but she would check. 10 minutes later she comes back and said they hadn't even started it. At this point everyone has eaten and I told her to cancel the order.
