Incredibly friendly and gracious owner. The staff can be a little aggressive, particularly at the front door when they are busy. But they have a great humidor, pours are ok, not great - but served quickly and with a smile. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Ybor. read more

I'm used to going to the king Corona in Ybor. While the Ybor location has a lot bigger selection of cigars, the selection at this location in International Mall is top shelf. The atmosphere is chill and there are plenty places to sit both on the inside and the outside on the patio . The seating is nice and spread out. I don't care for being all crowded together. It has an indoor outdoor area where the windows open up to the outside which is nice. I like good ventilation in a cigar place and this has it. The bathrooms are unisex and I found them to be very clean. A clean bathroom is a must! The service was really good. The bar was well stocked and the drinks were made well. Oh, and the Cafe Colette was delicious. I would definitely come back to this location and would recommend anyone looking for a nice, chill Cigar Bar to come here too :-) read more

This was my second time here. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The cigar selection in very wide. The walk in humidor allows you to browse the cigar choices. Saturday night was a bit busier than my previous visit, but was still enough space to spread out. The drink choices were also very good. I had the Poi Cartel which was tropical, but still strong enough for you to know that it is an alcoholic beverage. There is indoor and outdoor patio seating. We chose the outdoor patio which was great. You could still see the college football games on the indoor screens; however, sitting outdoors allowed us to enjoy the Latin music coming from a nearby venue (Alma's). The wait staff was awesome: Britney and her partner were very attentive. If you are looking for a nice intimate place to hangout, give King Corona a try. read more

We planned for a date night at a local cigar bar, upon entering you will be greeted by no one. If you happen to stumble in far enough you will find a great sized humidor, sadly from this point on you will only be let down. We chose a cigar without any help from the staff. You would think someone would capitalize on the moment and ask us "what do we plan on drinking" so we can pair the cigar nicely. But instead you will find yourself alone in the humidor wondering if anyone even works here. Once we chose our cigar, we walked over the bar, cause we didn't know if we get help if we just sat at a table. We were asked our drink order, which is fine but we didn't have a menu we had no idea so we had to ask for a menu. They could have asked what cigar we chose and what type of flavor we were looking for. We came in wanting to spend money and enjoy ourselves but every chance they had, they showed they weren't here for anyone but regulars. Maybe our hopes were too high? Now that we have a cigar and ordered our drinks, we are standing at the bar waiting, only to get passed a jet lighter that has to stay at the bar... what happened to matches? but okay I hear it, I could be nit picking now..we are at a table inside this cigar bar that has all its lights on to the max with 2 drinks in front of us. No one has checked in with us, are our drinks okay? Do we have any questions, do we need anything else? This place wont be here in 12 months. The manager/owner should really reevaluate the staff or try a different training on customer service tactic. A disappointment of an experience. read more

My friend and I walked into the humidor to choose some cigars. We didn't get offered any assistance and she had a question. She had to go back out to the bar and get The bartender to help. Once we chose our cigars, we sat at the bar and enjoyed one and chatted. We also ordered drinks. The bartender was not overly serving and left us for long periods of time to sit without asking if we needed something. We had to get her attention every time we needed something. It just didn't impress me. Oh and a $2 up charge to chill my whiskey??!! That's seems unreasonable. Nobody charges for ice. SMH read more

You don't have to be a fan of cigars to visit this place. The ambiance, service, and really great drink selection is reason enough. Great selection of cigars, all very reasonably priced. Great selection of drinks including tequilas and bourbons. I'm amazed at how well ventilated the inside of this bar is. It doesn't get smokey at all and the air quality is clean and refreshed. I went with my go-to bourbon of Angels Envy with a large rock. Our server also turned us on to a tequila that I've never tried. Jose Quevo Cristalino was very smooth and comparable to a Patron. We did a chilled shot of it with salt and lime, and to be honest, it wasn't needed. It was that smooth. I went out a bought a bottle of it the next day it was that good. King Corona Cigars is a place I would definitely visit again whenever I'm in the area. read more

I didn't even know this place was here. Then again I haven't been to the mall since Covid started. This spot is really nice and great for a night cap and cigar. There is a lounge spot right when you walk in, tables in the back and an outdoor area. The bar is a nice place to sit as well and the waitress was helpful as we told her it was our first time in. They have a huge humidor room with an array of cigars and they cut it and light it for you at the bar. read more

First time here, though I have enjoyed King's Ybor City location. This one is conveniently located on the upper level of the International Plaza and Bay Street Mall. Cigar selection is mostly top shelf, with sticks from Rocky Patel, Fuente, Acid, Padron and Perdomo, to name a few. The bar is well-stocked with quality bourbons, whiskeys, vodkas - you name it. Was lunchtime, mid-week, so not super busy, but bartender Alex kept everything well under control - mixing drinks, brewing coffees, cutting & lighting cigars - the kind of friendly, highly competent employee every company wants, but many don't have. My 2 hours enjoying a Rocky "Grand Reserve" went too quickly - I will return. Everything you want in a cigar bar, highly recommended by this long-time smoker. read more

King Corona at International Plaza has a cool & chill vibe, & is a great place to hang with friends, enjoy some cocktails, & if you sit on the outside patio area, have an awesome people watching viewing area. The Bartenders are super friendly. The cigar selection in the humidor is above average in selection & quality, & the restroom facilities are very clean. The only minor issues I have with this King Corona location is the majority of the time, they have only 1 person on staff running the entire cigar bar. This is fine in non peak hours, but when there are larger groups of people there, it takes a long time from the moment you put in a drink order, to actually getting your cocktails. Also, cigar aficionados love enjoying a stogie outside when the weather is lovely. However, for a good part of the year in Florida, it gets pretty humid. There are overhead fans at King Corona in the outside patio area, but they haven't worked in like 2 years. Really? How difficult is it to repair outdoor overhead fans? I've asked the Bartenders at King Corona why management doesn't address this issue & fix the fans, & they just tell me they really don't know why. King Corona at IP: fix the fans & have more than 1 employee working the establishment during peak busy hours, & you get 5 stars from me. read more

Had a great time here with a couple of coworkers. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, air filtration inside the lounge is top notch and keeps smoke out of the air without causing a strong draft, and the humidor has a good selection of quality sticks. The bar has a large selection of drinks as well. I went with the Fuente Fuente Opus X and a Cafe Con Leche to drink. The cigar was, of course, perfect and the coffee was made excellently. There were two lovely ladies working that night and they were extremely knowledgeable about all things cigars, whiskey, beer, and coffee and they took amazing care of us. I brought my own cutter and lighter but these two lovely ladies were than happy to give you a cut and a light if needed, they even went around with the lighter and checked on guests to see if they needed their cigars touched up. Every aspect of this place is a hit! Every one in my group agreed we're coming back. read more
