We had such a wonderful dinner at Cooper's Hawk! Every dish we ordered was outstanding. We started with the Drunken Shrimp, and the tequila lime butter sauce paired with the bacon wrapped shrimp was absolutely incredible. For entrées, the Trio of Medallions was cooked perfectly, with each filet offering a unique flavor, and the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon was tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wasabi mashed potatoes and Asian slaw. We also enjoyed a glass of the Blanc de Blanc, which was crisp, refreshing, and the perfect complement to our meal. What truly made the evening exceptional was our server, Hannah. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the food and wine, offered excellent recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her positive personality, attention to detail, and enthusiasm elevated an already fantastic meal into a memorable dining experience. First time at this location and I enjoyed it immensely. The wine tasting area when you walk in is inviting and they have numerous interesting items for sale. Our server was friendly and helpful. We got a bottle of wine for thr 4 of us to share and ordered the Brussels sprout appetizer. In the meantime, our server brought pretzel bread with butter. The appetizer looked great and was yummy. The luncheon menu has lots of entrees, salads and sandwiches as well as lighter fares where the calories are shown. I ordered the chicken piccata which came with capellini and asparagus. Our food arrived timely and was nice and hot. The chicken was tender, the pasta was full of flavor and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Service remained great our entire time there. We've been to Cooper's Hawk several times, both here and in Jacksonville, FL, and we enjoy it so much that we became Wine Club members! Our friends in Jacksonville first introduced us to Cooper's Hawk, and we've been fans ever since. This visit, we stopped in for Happy Hour and had a fantastic experience. We sat in the bar area, where the service was friendly, attentive, and made for a relaxing evening. We shared several Happy Hour favorites, including the Shaved Prime Rib Sliders, Cooper's Hawk Smash Sliders, Four Cheese Truffle Arancini, Crispy Tempura Shrimp, a Caesar Salad, and a House Salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy excellent food, wine, and a lively Happy Hour, Cooper's Hawk is definitely worth a visit. The only other chain I put in this category is Yard House. I love coming here, and I don't even drink wine. I've done work dinner programs here for $3,000, come here by myself, before Buccs games, with dates, and no matter what it's always a great time with food, and drinks just how I like it. The only thing that sucks about this location is the parking. You can drive around the parking lot looking for parking. I try to come during off hours, but on the weekends when you walk in there might already been 100+ people taste testing wines when you walk in. The $17 Dirty Nasty is off the charts delicious. Cooper's Hawk really knows how to do a dirty martini, extra dirty. They even put in the blue cheese olives. I always start with this now. One of my favorite places. I have been coming here for years. If you love wine, this is the place to go! They have a monthly wine membership that comes with 2 bottles and 2 wine tastings for 2 people. If you're apart of their loyalty program you get rewards for birthdays. We visited for the Wine Club Kentucky Derby themed dinner. The private room was set up beautifully, and the manager Brittany and chef Sheldon were the ULTIMATE hosts. The service was top notch, and the ambiance was out of this world. To the point where we are planning to attend the themed dinners each month to see if they can continue the high bar they set this night. The star of the show was the food. O M G!! Each course and wine/drink pairing was phenomenal. Adding another review, this one specially for a private event held at the restaurant. The staff was excellent, attentive and flexible with our event programming. The private dining space was able to accommodate multiple tables of guests. There was seamless AV. The food was wonderful. A nice chicken tortilla soup and cesaer salad starter. I had the filet mignon entree which was cooked medium and cut like butter. Dessert was a key lime tart that was okay, but not my favorite. My friends told me that the service here is always on point but let me tell you, our server Pamela was simply phenomenal! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. Can you give 0 stars? Not sure where to begin. First, wrong appetizer was put in! So no app. Second, asked about the crispy chicken (is it fried) waiter says yes! Ordered 3 of them. Came out grilled. Apparently the crispy sandwich is no longer severed at Coopers Hawk. Third, 4 out of 5 meals delivered. Ordered the gnocchi carbonara.... Came out 10 minutes later with the manager saying they had to run to Publix for "peas". Omg. It was horrible. No pancetta - no flavor. And the server blamed everything on the kitchen. Took no responsibility. We used to love this place. Was part of the wine club too! But wow- the service and the food went downhill. Just not good and not worth the price. My boyfriend and I are wine club members (highly recommend!!!) and make a monthly stop for our free wine tastings. We really love all of the staff. They are so friendly and make a great tasting experience when we try new wines. We recently went for dinner as an early birthday celebration. We've tried a lot of entrees from CH, but decided to try some new items this time around. I opted for the Calabrian Shrimp that was one of the Chef's Specials. It was delicious and I hope it makes a come back! My boyfriend has the Gnocci ala Vodka that was very good as well. Our server Logan was great!! Visited on a Saturday and let me tell you this place was a mess. Way too many people crowded in tasting room you couldn't even squeeze by to get to the hostess stand. They should definitely limit the tastings bc how crowded the front tasting room it was definitely a fire hazard. People were being so loud and obnoxious In here today so it's very clear they do not do well cutting people off that have had too much to drink. Was dining with children and the manager was speaking to a loud obnoxious cursing man and basically left him at the bar to drink more which is nuts. When we asked to move tables the manager said oh you will need to speak to hostess and she was absolutely no help. Our food made it to the table before even getting silverware or plates. Our appetizer was cold. Terrible experience if I could give it zero stars I would. I do not recommend this location whatsoever after this experience. The wine tasting with Holly was genuinely fantastic and honestly the highlight of the entire visit. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the tasting experience feel fun and elevated. Nico also truly tried his best throughout the meal service, but there were just too many variables working against him. I understand it was Mother's Day and expected things to be slower than normal, but being at the table for nearly 3 hours was excessive. The kitchen seemed completely overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food quality also missed the mark across multiple dishes. The pork chops and steak medallions were overcooked, the broccoli was cold, and the wasabi mashed potatoes really lacked flavor. The biggest disappointment was the tempura shrimp. It looked nothing like the photo, the shrimp itself was overcooked, and the sauce pairing was very strange for the dish and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Appetizer: Drunken shrimp appetizer, to share Entree: Me- Shrimp scampi My husband-Jambalaya Problem: My food was so cold, I couldn't eat it. The spaghetti noodles were cold, the shrimp was cold, and the liquid sauce was cold. I had to send my food back to the kitchen, and request that it's fresh and wrapped to go. I didn't even eat my food. I ate one shrimp from the appetizer and it was good. The waitress apologized and said that she will make sure the food is prepared properly. My husband enjoyed his dinner and the bread with butter. The atmosphere was really nice. We dined outside. Hopefully, the next experience will be better. :-( read more

*This review is only for their brunch* Brunch at Cooper's Hawk = weekend well spent. I came for the wine, but stayed for the Smoked Brisket Hash. If comfort food had a sophisticated cousin, this would be it. Tender brisket, smoky and rich, nestled among perfectly seasoned potatoes and topped with scrambled eggs that brought it all together like brunch magic. It comes with a sunny side up egg but I switched mine for scrambled. We also tried the Sunrise Breakfast for something more classic--and it didn't disappoint. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon crispy, and the potatoes had that just-right crunch. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you want to cancel your afternoon plans and go take a nap in a food coma. The French toast was more like dessert than breakfast. Imagine thick slices of golden perfection, soft in the middle, crisp at the edges, and topped with just the right amount of sweet decadence. It didn't even need syrup, but I poured it on anyway because brunch is no place for self-control. Our server was friendly and patient (even when I had an existential crisis choosing between mimosas and bellinis--spoiler alert: I got both). First I did the wine tasting, which is the best wine tasting in the city because they have flavor options to match everyone's pallet whether it be sweet or dry. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with just the right touch of elegance for the occasion. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel special. What an amazing night we had! We celebrated my mother's birthday here and it was also all of our first time at Cooper's Hawk. If you're a sweet wine type of person like us you'll love the Gewurztraminer wine. We all shared a bottle. AND I loved our experience so much we joined their wine club. We went here for brunch and we arrived there at 125pm and brunch ends at 2pm. We were told that we would be seated in 10-15 minutes and that we would have enough time to order brunch. Well we were actually sat at 220pm and we were informed it was too late to order brunch. So since we drove from Apollo Beach, which is about 30 miles away we decided to stay. I ordered flat bread pizza, my wife ordered spare ribs ( I think ) and hers arrived cold, like room temperature cold. My friends had a burger which he said was alright and his wife had the salad which was okay she said. When never got our drinks or water refilled and it was freezing inside of the restaurant. Overall we had a wonderful experience! We did not think to look at the Buccaneers game schedule before making reservations here to celebrate two birthdays in our family. When we walked in, the front room was very loud and very crowded. Full of people in their Bucs gear enjoying wine tastings. The only downside to the experience was the parking. Probably due to the Buccaneers game nearby and many people coming to eat and drink before, we could not find a parking space anywhere and had to valet, which was already very backed up and tough to get into due to many one-way restrictions in the parking lot. This caused us to be a little bit late for our reservation since we circled the parking lot numerous times and then had to wait for the valet line. When ate in the main dining room and started the night with a few apps and a Coopers Hawk bottle of Pino Noir! The apps we had were the egg rolls and flat bread. My sister had surf and turf parmesan filet medallions and drunken shrimp. So good! We used my wine club monthly pick on a passion fruit pitcher of sangria. It was good but I recommend the peach sangria. The ambiance is always nice. Service was a little off. He was professional but wasn't very welcoming. He kept doing walk by, you oks. We chucked it up to they were busy on a Saturday prime time evening. Parking is horrific. Allow plenty of time or valet because it's the most frustrating part of visiting this restaurant.
