King Duck Chinese has long been on my list but I have held on off coming since I had heard some mixed reviews from friends. I have to say that my experience here with my boyfriend turned that around! I came on a weekday shortly after they had opened. For Chinese meat delis like this, I always try to get there early so that I can eat/take home everything after its been freshly made. My boyfriend and I started with the marinated chicken wings and feet. The flavors were great and I loved it but my boyfriend disliked it since it was served chilled. For the barbecue meats we decided to each get a two meat combo to share so we could try a little of everything. We tried the roast duck, the spare ribs, the white chicken and the roast pork. Its served with vegetables and white rice that you can upgrade to fried rice for an additional price. My boyfriend got the fried rice which was good though I preferred the white since it could make the meal overbearingly heavy. All the meats were delicious but I have to highly recommend the chicken as something you may not think to order there. It's steamed and sooooooo moist with hints of a floral flavor---DELICIOUS. Probably will be back soon to pick up my mom a whole duck since they offer reasonable prices! read more

Hooray!!! A good Chinese food option in the area. I ordered my typical order which I always do before branching out into other dishes. The sweet and sour chicken was really good. The chicken was moist and had a nice breading. I also liked the fried rice, krab rangoons, and wonton soup. The only thing I was less than satisfied with was the egg roll. It's been a while since I lived with my parents, so I don't get Mommy-made meals on the regular anymore. This? Was delish. The only downside is that you have to eat around the bone, but that's part of the appeal lol. Just be aware if you're anti-bone-in-food. Also, the special fried rice is mmmm! And the veggies it comes with, too. The flavor was subtly sweet and had soft notes of honeydew + cream (or milk haha). Very small set up here designed mainly for take out but there are two small tables if you care to dine in. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and willing to answer questions about the menu. King Duck is very traditional with the ducks and chickens hanging on display when you walk in. Tried the roast duck and the soy sauce chicken and was mightily surprised and satisfied. Both birds were fresh and delicious with the duck being flavorful and not too greasy and the chicken being ever so juicy. We did order a small fried rice to accompany the meal but the meats are the main attraction here. One tip would be to go with the lunchbox combo (which comes with rice), as ordering a 1/2 duck and a 1/2 Chicken was much too much for two people. Some of the best Chinese food in all of South Florida! The spare ribs and honey roast pork are absolutely great, some of the best BBQ I've had in Miami! We also had the Super Special fried rice, topped with crispy pork belly and Chinese sausage. It was amazing as was the honey chicken and pepper steak! Everything is sooo good! Gonna try the roast duck next time! The restaurant on W. Flagler Street and 103rd Ave is about a 5 miles from my house but absolutely worth the drive. The staff is friendly and the service was fast. Terrific indiscreet Chinese BBQ takeout restaurant. Ordered char sui, faw yok, beef chow fun, honey chicken wings for Chinese New Year. Wow, delicious. About the wings, most places don't give you the whole chicken wing, only separated wings counting as one piece each. After hearing about a Chinese bbq restaurant opening in South FL area, bf and I were super excited to check it out. King Duck is located in West Flagler, at Chinese Guy's old location. They only serve bbq that you can order either by the pound or with rice and they have other offerings such as Chinese tamales , marinated meats, and other appetizers. They are very similar to Gou Lou Cheong, but obviously much closer. We ordered the BBQ Combo with 3 meats- crispy pork, duck, and honey roasted pork (char siu) and a pound of marinated pig ear. I'm normally not a huge fan of crispy pork but the crispy pork that they have here were to die for! It was so crispy and the ratio of fat to meat was perfect! The roast duck and the pig ears were delicious too! The char siu was on the leaner side, wished it was a bit fattier. I would definitely recommend this place for all of those who loves delicious and authentic Chinese bbq! Will be coming back for more ! read more

I got the 3 BBQ combination platter with the crispy pork and duck with a side of fried rice. The fried rice was decent in taste and portion. However, for the side of duck, I was only given 4 very very SMALL pieces that were mostly bone. If you were giving me only 4 small pieces for this platter, it should be reasonable that those pieces contain more meat. Duck in general does not have a lot of meat, but this was unacceptable. The flavor was mediocre. The crispy pork was decent in taste but again, 4 very small fatty pieces. read more

This spot is really authentic Chinese food. When I was looking for a new Chinese place I was skeptical about trying this one out because of its small menu but I actually loved it afterwards. Whenever a restaurant has a smaller menu the quality is always phenomenal. I got the special fried rice as well a marinated egg and they were both amazing! The prices here are very good as well and it's an inexpensive quick dinner for when you don't want to cook. I usually feel bad after eating Chinese food because sometimes it's extremely greasy but this place was so good. Honestly, this place at first can be easy to miss. Its location in a relatively busy little strip of stores can make it extremely difficult to find, but I assure you that it is worth the drive! I have ordered a plethora of their dishes, with my all time favorites being the Peking Duck and Chicken Lo Mein combination plate. I live in Doral and feel so excited that finally there's an authentic Cantonese bbq in south Miami!!! I went there couple times after it's opened. My favorites are their roast duck, bbq chicken wings, crispy pork, and pig ear. If you are around the neighborhood and look for quick lunch, this is a perfect place. I passed by today to try their combo 3 rice plates for lunch, which came with roast duck, bbq pork, crispy pork, and veggie. It was delicious! The portion was more than enough for one person. First the pork (was cold) then the rice, and minutes later the DUCK The food The pork was good very tasty and crispy (but will not order again) The special rice was on point and here is why I won't order the pork again. They aren't stingy with their meets. They give u alot of pork shrimp and I believe ham. The small size is enough for 3 moderate eaters. The DUCK was a bit cold, but it definitely had some great taste. The chef cut it up just they way a duck is supposed to be cut. I definitely recommend it. Over all I probably wouldn't go out of my way to revisit this place only because I live like 8 miles away, but I do recommend you give them a shot if you are in the area. Let's get straight to the point: Hands down this is the best Chinese barbecue I've had in Miami. After living in south Florida for two years, we missed the Chinese duck we used to get when we lived in Northern VA.
