Very good BBQ and excellent customer service. I didn't give it a five because I only reserve that for the best BBQ and this isn't quite there, but for what we have in Miami, especially taking price point into consideration, this place can't be beat. Mission is a chain that has restaurants in many states. It pays tribute to those who serve our country: firefighters, police, first responders and the military. There are many photos on the wall of people in uniform, including a few movie posters, such as Tom Cruise in Top Gun, as well as badges of various military, police and firefighter branches. The first good sign for food quality is when we placed our order and was asked, if we want the brisket moist or lean. Different people like their brisket differently, no wrong answer there just preference, and I'm glad we are given a choice. The brisket is moist, as we like. the cornbread though was too dry, and the collard greens too salty. They offer six different sauces, and my fave is the Florida one with mango. While we were dining, a staff came by, and gave us two cards to welcome our first visit, with very generous offer to entice us to return. Wow, thank you! May 30/2026: Dinner with Darren, Lindsay & my Al. This was a very good meal. I ordered the 1/2 beef brisket meal that came with corn bread ($14.79). I selected a couple of add-ons for my meal as well. I had house made fries ($3.95), baked beans with bacon ($3.49) with were the highlight of the meal & loaded Mac & Cheese ($3.59), green beans ($3.54). The baked beans were certain the stand out! Service was fast & the staff were very polite. The shift manager even came around to check on the meal with us. Very cool ambiance as well. All based on US Military & first responders. What a great little gem and breath of fresh air in Doral. I've often passed this place countless times and been reluctant to enter because all the food around here is overpriced and not that amazing. Walking in, we were immediately greeted by the smells of the smoked meat and the wood and country music. The place was decorated very patriotic with photos and patches and paraphernalia of first responders and service members. It felt like home. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Their sweet tea was on point. We opted for a lighter lunch and decided to share the 3 meat sampler with a few sides. It was a good portion for 2 to share (for a lighter meal). They have different bbq sauces that you can try, and you can even make a 6 pack to go. I will most definitely be returning. read more

A nice experience. The food was pretty good. The chicken was on the dry side, but a healthy dose of one of their many bbq sauce options fixed that. If you're going to order brisket, apparently the moist version is the way to go. Nice staff and very clean inside. Decent amount of food for the price too! read more

Mission BBQ is a good place for BBQ and Sandwiches with a very wholesome ambiance. My favorite thing to eat there is the pulled chicken sandwich, the chicken is fresh and tasty. The French fries are hand cut, and very good, and so is the cole slaw. My son also really likes that sandwich and also the baked beans. My husband typically goes for the brisket sandwich. A big plus is the variety of BBQ sauces that you have at your table - plenty to try with your food. Smoky Mountain is my favorite. Not the best bbq I've ever had. Service was great but food was a 4 out of 10. Portion sizes felt small, and taste was ok. Chicken was dry, baby back ribs were tasty. 2 meals and 2 drinks were close to $70! Honestly the price did not justify for the overall experience. read more

Have always loved Mission BBQ and we are happy to finally have one here in the 305. Their meats never disappoint smoked to perfection, I personally favor the brisket but recently tried their pulled pork sandwich and it was great, especially when you have it NC style with the coleslaw on top! This is a fast food ordering style but don't worry they don't lack service, everyone greets you with a smile and they have friendly faces walking around to help you with anything you may need. And I'm happy to report that they get an A+ for cleanliness and keeping the ambience feeling more like a BBQ joint than a fast food place, love this patriotic establishment that honors our military and first responders. read more

My husband is a Texan and a Veteran so places like this one are right up his alley, not normally what I prefer but since we were in the area, we came here. I enjoyed their brisket, jalapeño and cheese sausage and their Mac n cheese, but was bummed they had no corn. I found the ribs to be too fatty for my taste and the pulled pork to be overly seasoned a bit too saucy too. Service was ok. Can't ask for much at establishments where you order at the cashier and then get the food yourself at the other side of the counter. Restaurant was clean. read more

Truly disappointed in what will certainly be the LAST time I consume food from this particular establishment. In the least amount of words possible; the brisket was drier and chewier than an 80 year old ranch hand and his trusty saddle. Portions small for the $$ you pay. Only thing on that tray that was passable was the side of potato salad. Shame on you Mission for serving such garbage and passing it off as BBQ. Stopped by because I been wanting to check this place out since it opened! I enjoyed that the ambiance / decor plays tributes to those who've made Our Country great like Veterans, Firefighters, and more hence why a lot of people in uniform casually come in to enjoy a meal. I ordered the baby back ribs. And since no sides are included with their meals I got the Mac and cheese with some fresh cut made fries! Sad to say this was a horrible experience today. I was craving a burger and thought since the Brisket, Mac n cheese is so good the burger would be incredible. I asked the cashier if the burger was good. Did a nice job talking up the burger so I was sold. I stood at the front and saw the cook pull a precooked burger out (must have been cooked in advance-not sure why) and put on the grill. Looked like a hockey puck. In my mind....I was saying....no way that's the burger....is it? Well, it was. They heated it up, put cheddar cheese on to hide the burger, and melted the cheese. The fries sat on the counter while the burger was heated, yes, heated not cooked...so to say it was not fresh is accurate. The burger was served hard, the bun was dry, the fries were cold. I seriously cannot believe it. I was so disappointed today. My review is based on today. Yes, I have had other great meals here, but today was not good. I would NEVER order an old, overcooked, dry burger again disguised with fresh cheddar cheese on an old bun with old French fries. Just nasty. read more

Things have been looking up in recent years but have either been too pricey, too busy, or just too overhyped. To date the Supervising Manager reached out to me and explained he was going to address the issue. I really appreciate the reach out as Mission BBQ is one of my favorite restaurants and is really a good brand. I believe they are positive and will bring the restaurant back to the other participating restaurants standards. And i will definitely go again and continue enjoying their food. So sad to say this mission is not up to par.second time here disappointing portions small i mean 14 dollars for ribs and 5 bucks for a meal additional that's 20! The smallest ribs riblets more like it full of dry rub i mean its a rub not a cover. Smaller tiny mac and cheese and a soda even a child would be hungry with those ribs . ZERO SMILES OR HELLO from staff my number was called the handed me the plate Iiiiiii said thank you and the teenager there just glaze silent drop the tray on counter and left. After hearing about Mission BBQ located in Doral, (Miami) from family and friends for ages, I Finally tasted their food: NOT in Doral, but in Washington, D.C. on a recent visit. After I returned to Miami, I visited the Doral Restaurant: They made me feel like some type of Hero! The entire staff, Great food, fair prices. Prices were reasonable. I appreciated that they put the bbq sauce on the table for you to pick from and the cheesy potatoes were the best side that we had. The service was quick. This is a location that honors anyone in the military and they do the national anthem at noon every day in the store where everyone stops and stands for the anthem. read more

We dined out at the Doral location of Mission BBQ. They delivered a true taste of American barbecue. The brisket is perfectly tender with just the right amount of seasoning, while the pulled pork melts in your mouth. The sides are just as impressive, with creamy mac and cheese and tangy coleslaw.
