Dr. McNutt approached my problems pragmatically, listening to my whole story to piece together why I may still be experiencing pain. Another dentist told me that I should get additional root canals and crowns to solve the problem but after listening and looking at my X-rays Dr. McNutt determined that all that was needed was a bite adjustment. As I am typing this my mouth feels back to normal for the first time in months. I am so thankful for his conservative approach and that he was willing to dedicate so much time listening to me rather than just attempting to quickly solve the problem. i flossed and a piece of my tooth came out so I scheduled an appointment apparently I needed a…read morecrown due to not enough filling I had to have another follow up appointment which I was seen 1 hour later after my initial schedule time for the temp crown it was going well at first untill they needed to extract it without any numbing it hurt so much It was throbbing for about a month once I was seen for the crown placement I had a cleaning and cavity all scheduled for one go it felt very very rushed they were trying to extract it again without any numbing I was shaking so much from the pain and they still did not stop trying to pry it out they only stopped after I started tearing up and it felt like they got annoyed by it once they had everything numbed and got most of my cavities fixed after they added an additional fix they didn't state which tooth just oh I found another cavity and they started working on it I was in pain for another week and a half since the dental cavity fill was too high I went back again they almost fixed it my bite is still misaligned and she didn't fill a tooth hole she created which she stated was natural way of my tooth which it's is not I now have to find someone else since I'm still in so much pain I have to take pain killers to eat it's been 2 weeks now

Do not get braces or any long-term treatment with this office…read more I have just recently concluded 3 long years of hell with this office of what was originally supposed to be a year-long treatment. I came in to talk to the orthodontist in September 2022 because I had had a baby tooth that had never fallen out and I knew I would need to have braces placed to make space before eventually getting an implant. The orthodontist said it would take about a year of treatment and then the implant could be placed. I was told a reasonable price after both my husband and my insurance paid their shares and i thought it all sounded great. The trouble started that first day because I was told they couldn't get approval from my husbands insurance plan and that they knew they would pay $1000 towards braces but the insurance office was already closed that day, so if I wanted my braces placed, I could pay the $1000 along with my own co-pay and I would be reimbursed after the insurance went through. I said, sure I'd pay it no problem. I got my braces on and then the next week, I called them to check on the status of the insurance and they said it was good to go and I would get my money back after the treatment concluded. I figured that was fine because it would go towards my implant when I needed it. No problem. Fast forward two years later and my treatment still wasn't done. Every time I came in, the orthodontist said to come back on 4-6 weeks and they NEVER had appointments. Every time, I was scheduled 3-4 months out it seemed. This is the reason that the treatment took so long and every time I came in, they were taking more and more new patients. It was obvious that they did not care about the current patients they had and making sure that they were getting appointments on time, they only cared about shoveling in the cash from new patients. This office is like a revolving door for staff. By the time two years had come and gone, I had barely seen the same people at the desk when checking in and I figured I should ask about when I was going to get my $1000 back, just to reassure myself that everything was good once I finally was able to get the implant. The lady at the desk acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. I had to go through the whole story and they looked through my file and saw a document where I was quoted for the price that included the $1000 from my husband insurance but it turned out that no one actually filled the claim so the money was never paid out. I went back and forth with them about this but the last word from their corporate office that they sent to me via email was that it was too late and I was just out that money. I would have waited to get my braces on if I had known this would have been the case. The office staff made me feel like I was crazy even though I know what I was told but they are the worst gaslighters I have ever encountered. Another YEAR rolls around and finally I can get my implant. I make an appointment with their periodontist to verify the space and they call me a day before the appointment saying the Dr had to reschedule. I reschedule and once again they call me close to that appointment and say the Dr will be out again but I can drive an hour and a half away to another office to see him. I said no, just schedule me in Murfreesboro when he is available, they said they didn't have his next schedule and would call me to reschedule when it came out. I never got a call for that. So, after 3 years of braces and no implant, I had enough and called them to schedule a time to just get my braces off and I would take my business elsewhere for the implant. I made the appointment over the phone and came in at the scheduled date and time and they told me, no I didn't have an appointment. By this time, I was so tired of being jacked around by the office and company that I was livid. I said I wasn't leaving without my braces coming off. The lady at the desk kept saying things like it wasn't her fault because they had all new staff and stuff that happened on the past wasn't her and that the call center probably made a mistake. Worst customer service ever. If you are sitting at a desk for a company and the company messes up, YES, it is your fault. YOU are the current representative of the company at that desk and it is on YOU to make it right, not point fingers at people who are not there. Ugh. All this to say don't come near this office. I saw 3 different orthodontists during my treatment and countless different dental assistants and office staff. No matter how inexpensive the braces are, it's worth it to go to a reputable company that cares about the patients more than increasing their bottom line.

After the x-rays, which took 30 more minutes, they told the boss my daughter needed to return for a DEEP cleaning due to a condition. This deep cleaning also cost extra money, which was paid in advance. Due to an illness they canceled the appointment the day of. I scheduled an appointment with another dentist and learned that my daughter did not have the condition that required a SPECIAL cleaning. They tried to scam us out of $80. Horrible. Just horrible. I will not return. They did refund the money for the SPECIAL exam.

I had one cavity that caused a tooth to split. The dentist never did a root canal or suggested it,…read morenor did he test if the nerve in my tooth was still alive. So I have a crown on top of a live nerve. Great job! And then I went for another cavity (that should teach me, right?) and somehow the tooth cracked under the cavity. (Or maybe it was already cracked). 2 for 2. Don't go here. Save yourself some agony and go somewhere that the dentist at least has a clue. Now I gotta go find a new dentist. =(
