I was able to visit this beautiful farm last night and was just blown away at how awesome it was! They provide buckets with bags for you to fill up with however many blueberries you want. The price is $8 per pound. There are several varieties of berries that are grown. It is organic and completely safe to eat right off the bush. My kids had a blast trying to find the biggest berry :-) I highly suggest visiting while it is blueberry season. You won't regret it. This is a beautiful farm! The views are gorgeous, and the sunsets are even better! They have picnic tables scattered around so you can bring refreshments and light bites to snack on before or after picking. The blueberries here are USDA certified organic and you are able to enjoy the blueberries straight from the bush! It was great to be able to sample the different varieties of blueberries scattered around, as well as taste the different ripeness of them so you pick the ones you like best! When you arrive you are given a bucket that has a bag attached on the inside and you just get straight to picking! A bucket holds about 5-6 pounds of blueberries and are $8.00 per pound. When you are done, you bring the bucket back to the tent where it is weighed. They accept cash and credit cards. Our group was able to learn a little bit about the history of the farm, what makes the blueberries organic, and the different varietals of blueberries they had, which was very interesting. If you're planning on doing a you-pick during blueberry season, I highly recommend King Grove Organic Farm. King Grove Organic Farm has USDA certified organic blueberries that are not only delicious but are good for you and safe enough to eat straight off the plant. During blueberry you-pick season you given a bucket to pick all the blueberries you want at $8 per pound. You are give a bag to carry them home in however it is recommend to bring a cooler with ice packs to store them for the ride home. This is a farm so it is recommended to wear close toed shoes. There are picnic tables to use should you want to have a snack/lunch before or after the picking. The owners of the farm are super kind, informative and fun. You can tell they really enjoy what they do. While the blueberries sell themselves with their delicious taste and numerous nutritious value, it is also the owners that make this farm very special and worth the time and drive out there. If this place wasn't so far from me, I'd be out here every weekend. What a beautiful property. I met a bunch of friends here and we had a lovely picnic and adult beverages while we picked blueberries. I didn't know that clusters of blueberries ripen at different times. I figured they'd all ripen together, but in fact, clusters had ripe and green berries together! Staff said we could taste a little while we picked. So I tried a ripe, semi-ripe and green blueberry. I can imagine the green berries are great for pickling! I went up and down one row of blueberries. The berries are on the bushes from my knees past my head height, so it's perfect for anyone to pick. The kids can grab the low ones and the adults can grab the high ones! No getting on your hands and knees. Perfect! They have so many aisles of bushes that I didn't feel crowded. Apparently they have more than one varietal. I just stayed with the sweet crisp ones up front. It didn't take long to fill the bucket. I have no idea what I'll do with 5 pounds of blueberries; I was having so much fun just gathering them I had no idea how much I had! It's amazing all this is grown organically. I was impressed. Please stop by and pick some blueberries. It's so fun and easy to do. And there is no minimum or maximum. They weigh your bucket and you pay for what you have gathered. It's that simple. Blueberries usually come in tiny containers but here you can pick them by the pound. The friendly staff just hand you a bucket and the picking rows were marked with flags, so I mean pick. It was easy and fun. The berries are organic and they use no chemicals, I visited on two different occasions. Once with a group of Yelpers and then I came back on my own and did more picking. They offer 5 different variety of blueberries and the two I tried had a distinctive flavor. The smaller ones were sweet and tart, with the larger ones had more texture and were mild. They are open Friday night 4-7 and Saturday or Sunday 8-3, but check their website or Facebook for dates and times. I do have to mention that Friday night was much more pleasant because it was cooler and I felt I got first dibs on the berries. Saturday was nice but it was hot. I forgot to wear closed toe shoes and there can be fire ants in the groves. The berries come in an eco friendly bag and I honestly can find anything bad to say about picking here. There are some bees in the berries but I think they are busy getting their fill of juicy blue fruit so although they were occasionally there I did not get stung or touched. My recommendation would be to go several times, get some berries to freeze and be sure to wear closed toe shoes and pack sunscreen. I don't make it out to Eustis that often (okay, ever), so I was a little hesitant about making the drive, but it was above-and-beyond worth it. King Grove is an organic family owned blueberry farm. The bluebrries are $8 a pound, which seems to be lass than how much you would pay for non-organic blueberries at Publix! Parking is central to the picking, as is the check in and out area. This farm is just the right size for fun picking, without having to hike around on hot FL days. I was so impressed by how conducive the farm is to hosting more than just blueberry picking--when I visited with some friends, many of us brought food to share, and the picnic tables were readily available for us to lay out our dishes and enjoy! The blueberry picking itself was so fun! I loved that Kings Grove is an organic farm, so we could try out the different varieties that were available without the nasty pesticide taste (and without our stomachs hurting after). It's definitely worth making the drive for such a great value, organic blueberry picking experience. read more

This is a beautiful and very well maintained Organic Farm with a warm and friendly staff. You grab a bucket and just get picking!!! The blueberries are beautiful, delicious and plentiful! We were welcomed by Lisa upon arrival and the entire experience was heartwarming. This is a great place for a family adventure!
