We hoped they would be open and to our surprise they were open and had tons of Blueberries and not many people. They charge $5 per pound of Blueberries or $25 for the full bucket which holds 5 to 6 pounds. If you decide you do not want to pick the blueberries yourself they charge 1 pound bags for $6. In order to get to this farm you either have to take Wiliston Rd or 441. You make your way down a dirt road and you keep driving. Thankfully they had signs that said U-Pick Blueberries which made it much easier to find. When at the farm they have several acres of Blueberries. We started picking and sampling at the same time. It was great to try the different types of blueberries they had. Every 10 minutes they hard what sounded like a gun shot go off to scare the birds away. They also had a bull horn to scare the birds as well. It was pretty epic. Overall I had a wonderful time picking the blueberries. It was fun and it was a great way to social distance from others. I would for sure recommend this farm.

We went back for the first time since Ian after seeing they would be open at 10 on a Thursday. When we arrived at 10:02, it was to see that the parking lot was full with people already leaving with berries. There were rows and rows of no berries ready and we left with about 5. I definitely understand that things won't be perfect but the communication is what needs to be better. It's just not the same.

The price is $8 per pound. There are several varieties of berries that are grown. It is organic and completely safe to eat right off the bush. My kids had a blast trying to find the biggest berry :-) I highly suggest visiting while it is blueberry season. You won't regret it. The blueberries here are USDA certified organic and you are able to enjoy the blueberries straight from the bush! It was great to be able to sample the different varieties of blueberries scattered around, as well as taste the different ripeness of them so you pick the ones you like best! When you arrive you are given a bucket that has a bag attached on the inside and you just get straight to picking! A bucket holds about 5-6 pounds of blueberries and are $8.00 per pound. When you are done, you bring the bucket back to the tent where it is weighed. They accept cash and credit cards. Our group was able to learn a little bit about the history of the farm, what makes the blueberries organic, and the different varietals of blueberries they had, which was very interesting. If you're planning on doing a you-pick during blueberry season, I highly recommend King Grove Organic Farm. The blueberries are delicious, they're organic, the farm is beautiful, and the staff is friendly!

It doesn't have any of the fancy get ups, but for blueberry picking it has everything you need. Organic and conventional blueberries ($7 a lb and $4 a lb, respectively). Buckets, with bags and sanitizing wipes. Lots of blueberries of all kinds of varieties. It also has a few things you don't need but will welcome--like golf carts to take you to the organic blueberries if you don't want to walk, and a little pond that you can bring your fishing rod to to try and catch some fish! It's a beautiful, uncrowded spot and the end of a long dirt road. If you're looking to pick blueberries, it's as good of a spot as any.

They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.

They've only been open 2 years and yet they're the talk of the town. You'll find the largest blueberries you've ever seen. Picking is easy with wide clear rows but it's hot out so please be prepared. Prices are reasonable and depending on the growth of the berries they may only be open a few days per week to allow for a plentiful crop. Sometimes you may get lucky and see someone selling local plants there!
