Update: Engine oil seeping out of Left rear and back where bolted together excessively. Not addressed in estimate that I see. They assumed the car was not being taken care of. Last oil change was at NAPLETON'S IN WPB. Defective Engine is what it appears as - but engine not on their recall list. A problem is that it was given back to me with someone wiping off the seeping OIL. Very Disturbing!!! Added the estimate given to me - will add texts as well from that day. It was unfortunate that the dealership King Hyundai located in DEERFIELD BEACH, FL did not choose to find the real issue with the engine indicator light on and H for HOT - they gave the car back to me the very same exact way - very dangerous. I did take videos of the engine earlier that morning so I could see everything under the hood to try to see what was going on prior to being towed there - I simply took it for myself to see what might be wrong - could not see so early in the AM in the dark. They blamed the BATTERY that was under warranty - but not purchased from them. I had that replaced - it did NOT solve the problems of not starting, engine shaking, all lights on dashboard lighting up, key fob NOT being recognized even with a brand new cell battery, seeping/evaporating coolant - no visible LEAKS though - just smell it burning - alcohol smell, water evaporation condensation coming into the car that I have to sleep in, no air conditioner or radiator fan that had been taken into Napleton's WPB (not thorough in their diagnosis - quick - IN & OUT), etc.... Still experiencing the same issues - all about GREED - they are. Just wished to share what transpired - it did not go well. They gave me an estimate of over $8,234 ... padded with MEGA hours for the Technician (HIDDEN AS LABOR with each line item) .... I asked questions to the General Manager Mark Benne and Adrian the person who took the car in, but they chose to do a "take-away" instead because I did not AGREE or DECLINE or sign what they TEXTED ME immediately. I had only a small amount of money at that time - a little less then $400. My sister Heather who I did reach out to DIDN'T WISH TO HELP ME as usual.... So, I had to figure out what I could afford to fix. I am homeless - they were AWARE of that because of what took place with needing airfilled in one TIRE ONLY due to Wawa and Cumberlands MALFUNCTIONING MACHINES .... I am NOT employed at the moment. The Air needed in one Tire turned into a side show - so I spoke OUTLOUD... and they stopped hovering over me as the Technician kept letting me know EVERYTHING he thought was wrong - I did not give them permission to do anything other then fill the ONE TIRE..... it was very upsetting that day. I worked 11 weeks - let go on Aug 29, 2025 - that was a Gift to be released from being bullied every single day. The dealer did kindly give me a free diagnostic though even though I agreed to the $335 diagnostic to be used on any repairs I chose but, they gave it back to me and LIED ... I know I have power train warranty issues, no working A/C since I had it repaired in Sept 2024 at Napleton's Hyundai in WPB, leaking engine oil issues (visible), etc...The Service Manager Shaun Powell .... class a jerk... bullied a woman. He did not reply to my initial email. I guess to make fun & ridicule a person that has always lived a LIFE OF INTEGRITY ....makes them feel superior .. such a travesty! I only stopped in there a few days earlier to have air filled in ONE TIRE that seems to give me problems ... I tried to fill it myself but the UNIVERSE had other ideas. Still owe $3900 on my 2018 ..... screwed over by Delray Acura in a Lease Buyout in Jan 2021 after being let go of immediately after almost 4 years of employment - they charged me for an extended warranty & gap insurance unbeknownst to me...was not aware at the time I could have declined after the fact with a Sales invoice provided to me with each dollar value ON THE INCORRECT LINES of the ENTIRE SALES NVOICE ... I came in for a recall/update and asked for a transmission check due to noticeable feedback when shifting to drive and a recent drop in fuel economy. I used to get 50-55 mpg in my '21 Elantra Hybrid, but now I'm averaging around 40 mpg. Although the techs found nothing wrong, Mr. Morrison handled my concerns and frustrations with professionalism, patience, and clear explanations. While no repairs were done, at least everything was documented. He hooked it up and his customer service alone deserves 5/5 stars. read more

As a front line of contact with customers, her provocative and revealing attire and sloppy sweatpants should be addressed by management. Doesn't your company have a dress code? I was appalled to see her vaping and sharing her vape with other employees while I was shopping for a Hyundai with my elderly father that has COPD. I would hope an organization that is in the service industry would hold themselves to the highest standards when it comes to dress codes and inappropriate behavior as smoking in the workplace. Within the past seven days I was car shopping online and visited several dealerships; three Hyundai stores in total. I started the process online with all of them, which was a nightmare except for King Hyundai. I didn't know that when one responds to most car dealers online and enters their information requests, etc. that they might be dealing with a third party call center or a BDC (business development center) within the dealership that works with the sales team. But their job is to be vague and get the actual customer to the dealership. That wasn't the case with King Hyundai-Genesis. I received an email and a phone call from sales associate Bettina Clarke. She listened to me and responded with a number that beat both of the Hyundai dealerships I previously received quotes from. King Hyundai's lease price was better by $77 per month than Rick Case Hyundai and about $120 better than Coconut Creek Hyundai. My partner and I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Deerfield Beach on October 15 and met with Bettina, drove the actual car we wanted and met with sales manager Erik Slemon. Both Bettina and Erik demonstrated a level of professionalism that's pretty much unheard of or experienced at many dealerships. We didn't leave with the car that day. Please be careful. The appointment is only for dropping off your car, not for seeing a mechanic. This means it might take several months to fix your car, and they are very rude. They never answer their phone. If you call for a follow-up, they put you on hold for hours... and hours. In the end, I waited 45 days, and finally, they told me my car was ready. Unfortunately, they didn't even allow me to check my car. It was very scary because the lady at the front desk basically threw my keys at me. at the time of this writing, we are at six days since we have have visited this establishment. Also six days from not getting any type of receipt for the service that was done here at this dealership I must stress this part as much as possible that having a receipt for all of your repairs, especially when your car is under warranty is instrumentally important. if you were to search online, you will see that Hyundai (in general) is very well known for denying a claim if you do not have all your proper documentation showing that you have maintained the car as expected As the car is still under warranty, we are under enormous stress, and it doesn't help when this dealership is actually avoiding TO RETURN YOUR CALLS AND MESSAGES. as we have left messages only for the staff member Karina, who helped us to get our car serviced. The excuse that was was that their system was down. We are now six days past that phone call from her or the service manager, which we left a voicemail for as well. Communication is an absolute fail for any establishment, especially a dealership I find it very humorous to see that they have a bunch of great reviews, but yet lack the proper protocols to at least return a customers call letting them know that you haven't forgotten about them and giving them updates. This doesn't even include the service manager either. Even further to add on to the situation here with this dealership, my girlfriend called two days later, and the gentleman who answered the phone apparently knew who was calling, and even more importantly, knew the reason why she was calling!!!!! Had the audacity to say that he was going to hand-delivered the message to Karina.... YEEEEAHHHHHH! Obviously this goes to show even further that Karina and the staff here at King Hyundai gives two fucks about customers. Which is how they have made us feel. Please do yourself a favor if you decide to take your business to this establishment and you're given the excuse as we have been take automatic photos and video of the service document that they actually have in hand as I was looking at it. For this service, I asked for a record and a copy of all my paperwork. The service advisor, ANWIR only gave me a single copy with the data that I was not looking for! I took my vehicle to a FIreStone and a mechanic confirmed that the Dealership DID NOT EVEN CHANGE MY FRONT WIPER BLADES. The invoice says differently! PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE! Do not be tempted with the free gas tank for mediocre service and fake review postings Update: The service advisor called me and apologized for not changing the front wiper blades. He claimed it was a miscommunication with his mechanics! How was it a miscommunication when my Invoice states all the services that should be done?? The popularity of the Hyundai in this area has basically overwhelmed the service center of this dealership. While they are construting many new bays, the service wait is unreasonably long. It's not a problem if you just need meintenance, but if you have a problem (like I did, vehicle dying twice in a week), it's tough. I purchased a used Hyundai Santa Fe car for my son, and it been a nightmare, My son needed a car to go to college so i got him a used Hyundai Santa Fe, 2013 with a 120,000 miles on it. but i figured Japanese or Korean cars are well made, it should last him through out his college years. What a mistake, the car has been in the shop for over 2 year, back and forth, The car had a engine recall and was not running right so i took it to King Hyundai, it took forever and finally King Hyundai decided after many repairs that the car needed a new engine. so they requested a new engine because of a recall. which took 5 months to get my sons car back. meanwhile i called day and night but no one wold give me the courtesy of a call to give me updates. it seems that King Hyundai doesn't believe in giving people updates on their repairs. finally i got it back , but it still was not running right since they don't believe in testing their vehicles when they give it back to you. the dealer found it had many issues in the new engine installed, so when my son came back to from school winter break and car again was running rough this is back in November it is now January and still no car. this is very frustrating my son doesn't have a car i am paying a for a car loan that no one is using , insurance for a car in the shop and a dealership that never gives you update on your repairs, horrible service , we are going on our 3 engine for this car and my second new engine or so i thought because the dealership told me that they were a waiting for a new engine from the company, when i called the company they said they had no knowledge of any request from the dealership of a new engine request. the right had doesn't know what the left hand is asking for. meanwhile my son is suffering , in school running around in uber because these clowns have no idea what they are doing. god only knows when we will ever see this car again. anybody know a good lawyer read more
