I was recommended to Apex Tire and Auto by a friend. I needed to get my mom 3 new tires for her suv. They were really easy to deal with. I had my brother go there originally. The tires needed to be ordered so he gave a deposit before he flew home. AJ their Assistant Service Writer called me the next day when the tires were in. Since we were all visiting for the holidays we actually made an appointment to put the tires on a few days later. When we arrived I checked in with AJ. I decided to wait bc I had my mom with me and it would be less running around. While waiting, I also spoke with Patrick their General Manager, and Tony their Manager. All 3 were very friendly and kind. They answered all my questions, and explained everything. I had my elderly mom with me and these guys had a lot of patience. What I really loved about Apex is besides selling tires, they take pictures of what's wrong with your vehicle and add it to your online profile account so you can see up close and personal what's wrong and the parts they replaced. This place seems to be very honest and truthful which is rare. They will also give you an estimate.You can go online to see all work done. I highly recommend making an appointment. This place gets very busy. They have two buildings. One in the front of the driveway, and one towards the back. The actual entrance is in the front building. They have a small waiting area. My mom's tires were put on and the tires were rebalanced. They can work on all types of vehicles. Their prices were competitive. I would definitely use Apex again read more

Started my morning off with a screw in my tire. When I walked inside, I was promptly greeted and directed to drive to the back to see Keegan. He quickly determined the screw was causing air to leak. He plugged the hole and topped off the rest of my tires. Then he smiled and said have a nice day!! I'm stunned and pleasantly surprised that service like this still exists today. I was pleasantly surprised this week using Adelphia. Brandon, my service tech was great. The vehicle was diagnosed quickly. I received updates along with pictures of any issues via text. Adelphia honored a previous warranty with no question. All the other work was done in a very timely manner. And to top it off, the final invoice for the work not covered by the warranty, was a less than originally expected. Took my car here from a friend's recommendation due to check engine light . (This was the only 2nd time I've not taken my car to the dealership). The repair was done, technician and front desk were professional. The very next day the check engine light was back on and I was told it was a sensor but I'd have to bring my car back in a week for the next open appointment. In the mean time, I took it to back to the dealership who identified the problem as a gas cap seal and just replaced the gas cap. 2 stars because they clearly have a lot of people that trust their high performance cars with them. read more

I requested an oil change and was told on the phone they could it right away. When I arrived he said it would be a 2 hr. wait. I asked if he was sure he said yes. 2 hrs later I returned and was told my car was not ready and they were working on it. He lied, my car was never moved when where I parked it. When I said so, he laughed and said that was so. All I wanted was a simple oil change. How dare he laugh at me and lie!! The previous owner Tully was so trustworthy. These people are not too smart to try and run a new location by lying and laughing at a complaint. I did receive 2 calls from Apex, several hours later which I appreciated. My truck died in the parking lot next to Adelphia. Before I could freak out, a guy came over to tell me how lucky I was and took me nextdoor to "introduce me to Telly". I was pretty much at their mercy, but they were kind and got on it like lightening. I can't believe how fast they were, professional and competent AND the price was great. I would give this service ten stars if I could. I used to take my car to E&F tire. They offer good prices and fast service but it's first come first serve. And the location is quite small so at times it's hard to find a space for your car. I started dropping my car off the night before so they could service it first thing in the am. But recently the pump that powers the windshield fluid spray was not working. I took it in on a Friday around 4. They close at 6 and I was turned away because they had no room. They are very busy which is great for them I guess but quite inconvenient for me. I remembered reading some very positive reviews about Adelphia which is right down the street. The owner, Telly, is super nice and agreed to look into the matter if I waited half an hour or so. While I waited I noticed he actually has a code of ethics posted on his wall as well as several service awards. I felt very reassured. He confirmed it was the pump, gave me an estimate, ordered the part while I was still there, and said he'd call me Tuesday when it came in. I asked him to check my back tires because E&F said they needed to be replaced. He took pictures and told me as long as I'm driving locally it's not urgent. He called Tuesday to let me know the pump was in and to come in Wednesday at 2, none of this first come first serve bs. When I arrived he was waiting for me and I was out of there in half an hour. The place is very clean, lots of mechanics and car bays to accommodate customers. My car broke down and overheated in Lake Worth. I had AAA tow it to AAMCO and they quoted me $2500 to replace the radiator and water pump. I ended up having it towed back here to Adelphia Auto Service since they had done some recent repair. I received many recommendations for Adelphia on next-door when I needed to have some work done prior to this event. Many responses mentioned Adelphia with glowing recommendations. In addition, I didn't believe that my car needed that extensive work since it was only driven a short while overheated. If I had done the work that AAMCO quoted and proceeded to drive back to Pompano Beach, the car would've overheated again because it had a rusted pipe behind the engine that was the root cause for the overheating. In the end, after replacing the pipe, the car failed a pressure test. Adelphia sent the head gasket off to a machine shop to see if it was warped or cracked and it turned out to be warped so they had it resurfaced and kept me posted along the way of approximate costs. I trust Adelphia to continue to care for my car when I need repair since they are extremely Reliable and fair as well as being genuinely hospitable to their new clients. I couldn't have been more fortunate then to have moved into a neighborhood with such a nice man (running an auto mechanic repair business, no less!), nice family (his Mom and Dad work there sometimes, yeah cheap labor.....Lol) and couldn't ever feel more comfortable with an auto repair shop, and the man that runs it all......Telly, not to be confused with Telly Savales as he has a full head of hair (lucky s.o.b.) and doesn't smoke a nasty cigar. Anyway, like others have already said......Fair prices and doesn't try to spend your money on unnecessary fixes. Will suggest what "may be" needed attending to......Sometime soon, but doesn't push anything on you. Like a good businessman.....He doesn't "ticky tack" you for every dollar if you need a small something to be looked at or taken care of......E.G. recently I brought my Mustang in as the idiot sensor for my seat belt was going off continuously, even though the seat belt was fastened. Paid $1400 for head gasket. After 5 months my car overheated and paid another $300 for repair. After 4 months the owner told me that my car needs head gasket again. Very poor service and very unreliable. Took the money and he did not do the job properly. I would not trust him even for my oil change. read more
