    Greek Salad with chicken
    Michael S.

Decided to grab some lunch to take home and this was right up the road from me. I got a gyro with fries and my wife got the Greek salad. It was only through sheer force of will that any of the fries survived the trip home. They were seasoned beautifully and had the perfect texture. Based on the quality of the fries, I couldn't wait to get home and dig into the gyro. It had exactly the right ratio of ingredients which allowed them all to belend into each bite. My dogs stared hopefully at me the whole time I ate but ended up very disappointed. My wife, not disappointed at all. She said that the salad was just what she was hungry for and surpassed her expectations. I am sad that we've been right down the road since this place opened and this is the first time trying it.

Ordered online for pickup at 3:49pm yesterday (Saturday) & received an email that my order would be ready within 30 minutes. I started driving toward the restaurant right then since was coming from about 25 minutes away. 20 minutes into my drive, I received a call from Grubhub (who had processed the online order) stating that the restaurant had cancelled my order because they were closed. Their website (https://www.eatkingkabab.com/) as well as Yelp show that they are open until 7pm on Saturdays, so apparently they closed 3 hours early and allowed me to drive almost all the way there before notifying anyone. I would normally never leave a negative rating for a place I didn't get to try, but wasting someone's time and fuel is unacceptable. If your hours have changed, then update them online.

My daughter me here. Her first time here also after seeing the reviews. It didn't disappoint. The food is so fresh. Quaint little restaurant but it did the trick for lunch. Also serve breakfast. We will be back if we're in the area!

Good day, My complaint is regarding my order. I ordere a Gyro plate, and based on your picture, it should have been a sandwich; however, I got a few late of meat. As well, Ganash and pita bread was to come with the order, according to your description, but the Resturant says "no, only when you order it". If I have to order it, way say it comes with the order. Another, the grape leaves are greasy and the fries are cold and limp. The Resturant says that you Hubgrub, makes the descriptions, your descriptions and pictures are deceiving at best. As well, when I made an initial complaint via your chat, I was told that the problem had to be escalated and then nothing. I regret immensely that I gave this app a try, only because it is attached to Amazon, that I did this. I am sadly disappointed in the quality of food and service. I'll stick with Uber eats and Apple

Veggie Falafel Sandwich with Homemade Fries
    Destini R.

While driving I saw this place and had to drive a block to get back. Well let's just say I'm glad I did. Not a big seating area and they were pretty busy because it was lunch. Great customer service. The homemade fries are seasoned to perfection and crispy. The falafel sandwich was very fulfilling as I wasn't able to finish but it was so good. Definitely coming back!

Grand Opening today (8/31/20) of a new Mediterranean food shop in the Orange Park side of town; serving breakfast and lunch. Vegan and Vegetarian options available. It's family owned, staff is friendly and so accommodating. I had a pleasure in dealing with Justin, one of the staff and he made sure that what I ordered was correct. Nice guy. I ordered... * Cheese Steak Sandwich (5/5): Nice, delicious flavor. Fresh cut ingredients, well in exception to the Romaine Lettuce, which felt like bagged veggies. Not a taste breaker though. Still a good sandwich. So good that I'd order again and again. * Chicken Kabab sandwich (5/5): Nice thick cuts of chicken. Nice flavor. It's not an overly loaded sandwich, just perfect enough for that non-messy eats. All in all, food was great, nice and simple. I am looking forward to coming back here again. #SupportLocal

    1lb Burger

Hello again and welcome to another review of restaurants I have enjoyed. Today I am sharing this place. I had THE BIGGEST BURGER of my life. I have never been to Vegas so I can't have the heart attack burger, but this is a really close second. This is THE 1LB Burger with all the fixens. Ketchup and Mayo on the table so you can add as much or as little as you would like. I ordered the fries also. They should really have a warning label with the 1lb burger. (**WARNING - Do not get fries is you order the 1lb burger!! **) That would have been generous. It was still a tasty burger and the fries were fresh and hot. If you have an appetite for some fresh everything on their menu, I highly recommend this place.

We had take out twice -- fantastic both times. Every thing is fresh and the service is good. It is cooked to order, but worth it.

I came in as a solo diner and was seated quickly, although my table was kind of nestled underneath the high outdoor bar. That meant hearing some of the bartender's phone conversations. I ordered a glass of Lebanese rose wine and liked it! But my meal wasn't impressive. The vegetarian grape leaves (one of my favorite dishes, generally) were OK, although several were split up on my plate (but hey, it happens). I thought the flavor was underwhelming; there was a lot of acidity but nothing else. I also ordered a side of "extra crispy seasoned potato fries" which just turned out to be generic crinkle fries with salt. Definitely wouldn't order those again. I thought maybe there would be some sort of twist on them? The big frustration was service. The restaurant was far from full when I went -- I counted maybe a dozen seated tables. After I finished eating, I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my waiter's attention to get my check even as I sat with my plates pushed away, glasses empty, and credit card out. He walked by multiple times to wait on and check with other tables, and I saw at least five other employees working in the front of house and walking by me. Even when I got his attention for the check, it took quite a few minutes to get it, despite him walking out to other tables. (Although I will note he seemed busier than the other employees!) My check before tip came to $24, which felt on the pricey side for what I got. I hope I'm wrong, but I got the vibe that I wasn't exactly their favorite type of guest -- a solo diner who wasn't smoking hookah. (I noticed another solo non-smoker go similarly unnoticed by staff.) Maybe they heavily favor regulars, too. But they weren't at capacity, and I'd have gotten out quicker had I been able to pay. Maybe it was just an off night. But it's just not a great feeling to be ignored.

My wife and I tried their lunch buffet for the first time and overall, it was a good experience. At…read more$15.99 including a drink, it's a solid deal. The food was tasty, but we were disappointed with the limited meat and fish options. Roasted chicken was the only choice available. I like protein so I ended up just loading up on chicken. We were hoping for a bit more variety in that protein area.

Your greeted by the owners who work the restaurant and take pride in their establishment. They provided us with a complementary hot tea sample. That was so good. I could have drank that and been happy and had nothing else! The food where to begin? Typically I do not do sauces because that is not my thing but there's well let's just say I devoured it! It was so phenomenal and the chicken moist flavorful outstanding I cannot brag enough about how phenomenal that chicken dish was. Now let's talk about the vegetables. They were seasoned to perfection and cooked where they were still crunchy but yet they were soft enough that you didn't have to worry. The vegetables were outstanding and I wanted to get second helping on the vegetables they were that good! The pita bread looked to be homemade, but given it was Passover I was not able to try it. So long story short I'm coming back Friday night because that pita bread looked like it was in-house made and it looks so so good! This restaurant I have to say is out of this world and worthy of 10 stars! This is somewhere you definitely must try and I believe you too will give them 10 stars!!!!

I was soooo excited to try this place because of the outstanding reviews…read more The smells when I walked in were fabulous.... I immediately noticed the shwarma cooker in the corner looks like it's no longer in use.... Time to put it in storage since shwarmas are no longer on the menu.... The menu is extremely limited, but it didn't matter as I just wanted the lamb.... "Sorry, we don't have any lamb tonight...." Ok, I'll take the cabbage rolls.... "Sorry, we don't have any cabbage rolls...." Questions as to what the other items were met with a perplexed look by the girl running the counter and answering their phone, despite being unable to speak English well enough to communicate basic questions (she couldn't even say what type of meat was in any of the handful of dishes).... The attempt to order was extremely frustrating, as despite the fact that I was early for dinner they didn't have anything in stock.... I needed up ordering the beef stew and a gyro.... The beef in the beef stew was DRY.... And the stew badly needed salt.... Their gyro was like any other premade gyro that's heated up.... But as I was leaving, $35 lighter, they brought out a beautiful meal (giant feta salad and LAMB) for a local patron.... Incredulous, I informed the hostess/server that I did not see any of that on the menu..... To which she replied, that was "The Special...." Really...? I asked for lamb when I walked in and because you didn't have the lamb by the pound you forgot to mention that you had a lamb dish with as The Special...? Pro Tips: 1) Hire a hostess that can speak English 2) Don't show favoritism to your local guests 3) I had planned to come back with a large crowd to give you another chance, but now I'm just going to give you the review you've earned 4) Expand and improve your menu, as most of it is just ready made food they are re-heating; the $3.50 Aryan drink was the only quality portion of my $35 meal
