Wow! King Kabab did not disappoint! I was craving Mediterranean when I suddenly drove by this place. Decided to give it a try and Wow!! I ordered a gyro and fries to be on the safe side and it was delicious! It was so good that I ordered a chicken Mediterranean salad for later tonight. Wow, only visited for lunch after a message from Yelp brought this place to my attention. I used to eat here when it was a sub shop, but never stopped after it changed hands until today. What a gem!! Outstanding!!! We just finished lunch at Orange Park's newest family-owned ethnic restaurant and we're happily planning our return visit. Between us we tried the chicken kabab plate with 2 sides - the Greek salad and hummus, and the gyro platter with rice and hummus, and a satisfying triangle of baklava to share. It was all delicious but the gyro, hummus and warm pieces of pita were outstanding. We sat outside under a large umbrella, but there is also seating indoors with sheets of plastic between tables. My family and I had been looking forward to this place opening for a while. We finally decided to try it today and I'm sad to say that we were ALL disappointed. The salmon plate was a very small, over cooked and bland piece of salmon. My son said barely a step above cafeteria food. My beef kebab was pretty dry and the steamed veggies were almost mush. The Greek salad was ok, although it had a few pieces of lettuce that were not good. The 2 small triangles of pita bread were the best thing on my plate. My husband and older son both got the gyro plate. Only the same 2 small triangles of bread, no Sauce for the meat. The meat was chewy and a bit greasy. Overall for the price, the portions were somewhat small and the food was just lacking. I hope they will step it up in the future. read more

Great experience. Hot, fresh food and clean restaurant. Walked in and ordered a gyro and a chicken kabob, both with fries. While not the biggest wrap/sandwich I've ever had, it was one of the best tasting. I was by no means still hungry, there just wasn't anything left for later like some gyros. The gyro meat was fresh, with little to no hard edges. The veg and sauce were all fresh and in good proportion. This would easily satisfy a taste for a gyro. The chicken kabob was amazing. Again not the largest samich ever, but delicious. Some kind of yellow curry sauce covering two large hunks of chicken, with fresh lettuce and tomato. Which was great because the chicken was hot and moist, being such a large chunk. The fries were a bit on the limp side (possibly due to steaming while in transit) so order well done or pop them in the Air Fryer when you get home! Came out perfect! But they were fresh, with good oil and a fair sized portion. No pics because we devoured it, next time. Side note, absolutely zero intestinal issues the following day!! read more

So... You just opened and this is what we get for two people on a to-go order? (Please see photos) The salad that costs $3.99 has black lettuce throughout, the fries you also charge $3.99 for are soggy and flavorless and sub par. I literally live across the street from your location so I don't want to hear about how soggy fries can happen in to-go orders. I opened the box of them within two minutes of being handed the bag. Anyway, to continue (not to be Karen, because I have dealt with that garbage myself in the service industry), this is garbage that you are serving. You'll be done in a month if you don't get this right for your customers, because they will never be back with this. I was in fact so disgusted with this transaction that it never made it to my mouth. All I can tell anyone going here is to see the photos I uploaded. Four pieces of a diced tomato on a pita? Overcooked falafel, soggy fries, black lettuce, 9 small strips of Gyro meat, and a very long wait for all this sadness? Good luck lasting the night. read more

I pass this place every day. And it's just not what I'm thinking about. Then one say, I was in a hurry and I had been craving a Greek salad and added gyro meat. I got it to go. Tasted tested the meat while I continued my errands in the car and it was sooo good! I decided to take a bite of salad at each stop light it was that good! I ended up spilling the dressing in my car and now I have to get it cleaned. Small price to pay for such a delicious salad. So good, in fact, I took my husband back the next day. I got another salad. Topped with chicken this time - equally as flavorful. And he got a gyro sandwich. I stole some of his fries because they were tasty! This place will now be in our permanent rotation! read more

Came back again today because like i said i love this food. I had the gyro sandwich and homemade fries. The gyro was much better this time around juicy meat, and plenty of sauce. I wont order the fries again. They werent horrible but not my thing. Ill try something different next time. read more

What a delightful and delicious addition to our Orange Park restaurant choices. This is my second time eating at King Kabab and both times the food and service have been FANTASTIC!!! I've had the chicken Kabab plate and a beef gyro. Both were delicious, but the flavor of the beef was to die for! The humus is home made and probably the best I've ever had. The pita comes hot and fresh; I could have eaten that by itself. I've also had the Greek salad and Baba Ganoush...Outstanding! Who would have thought you could get such GREAT Mediterranean food in our little corner of Florida? I can't wait until my next visit! read more

We so the sign of King Kabab by chance and we tried it a few days, and although we live 35 miles away we went back 5 days later. I enjoyed his lamb and veal kabab the second time and his left a was super my first time. This was really a great discovery for us for middle eastern , Greek and traditional American food. The owner is one of the friendliest people and the place is one of the cleanest. By the way we tasted 2 desserts that were great; his rice pudding and his baklava, lf you eat there or order from there make sure to taste one of these 2 at least. read more

This small family owned restaurant is a hidden gem right on Kingsley Ave. the people are so very kind and helpful! But the food? The food is beyond good! It is fresh and delicious! I had the chicken kabob as a sandwich (served on a pita) and the baba ganoush is the best I've ever had! My daughter likes the burgers! Prices are reasonable and I love coming here!
