Prompt, kind service from the staff. Interesting combinations for Sundae's. I got Grasshopper sundae. We sat outside at benches and a table. The sidewalk there was in need of a good pressure washing. Haha! But that's to be expected outside a ice cream shop. Definitely would go back.

We went here for dessert after having a delicious crab feast. The sundae was perfect, just the right amount of sweetness. The crew was okay. My whole family got desserts they probably got surprised lol.

We stopped by for a late night ice cream treat before heading back into the hotel. There were two young employees who were very friendly. I ordered a small road runner raspberry (vanilla ice cream with raspberry swirls and mini chocolate cups), and my boyfriend ordered a medium classic strawberry. The portions were reasonable and their prices were average compared to the rest of the area. The only reason why I give this place 4 stars rather than 5 is because they only had about 10-12 flavors of ice cream, and I was hoping for a bigger selection for an ice cream place.

THIS is what I'm talking about! This was so much better than the "other place" we tried yesterday. OMG. I got the Temptation Island. Instead of butterscotch they had their signature sweet caramel sauce. And of course. wet nuts. I love wet nuts! ;-) Best ice cream at the beach. And a cutie serving it up! Oh! The 5th star is saved due to no outdoor seating. Small stuff I know...but is the difference for me between "I'm a fan" and "Doesn't get any better".

Lots of choices for toppings- including OldBay!

Great place that offers all sorts of frozen treats! Ice cream, soft serve, shaved ice, shakes, and tons of special combos and sundaes. It's clean, service is friendly and fast, and the ice cream is yummy.

We stopped at the location on 70th street. King Kone is a good, standard, ice cream place that serves Hershey's ice cream. I would have been a little more impressed if the ice cream was made on site. I remember thinking the toppings were over-priced (I want to say 50 cents for each topping added?). It was good, but didn't "wow" me.

Great little local ice cream spot. Hand dipped or soft serve. I recommend the chocolate malt though.

Don't have much reason to go to Ocean City in my advancing age, but the prospect of a Grasshopper Sundae from King Kone will get me there.

But, this is the second time we have been there when the smoke coming from the kitchen was unpleasant and burned our eyes. I really wish they would improve their exhaust system, or add some walls around the kitchen. Yes, it is fun to see the chef and culinary team in action, but the smoke can be overwhelming and could be eliminated with walls and double doors. It is unfortunate to have a wonderful meal charred by poor exhaust.

The Chef looks familiar, I think I tasted his food before at one of the Celebrity Chefs Brunches for Meals on Wheels. I remember it being fantastic. There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy. We will definitely return to try all the other things and be lucky to sit anywhere inside or out.
