Espresso martini

The food here is on Point. We ordered four appetizers all fabulous. We got the chicken and biscuits. We got the beets and dirt( my favorite) The crab toast and the soup. For dinner I ordered the wagu flank. Perfect cook and delicious!! My husband got an amazing rock fish and our friend got the catfish! Outstanding! Dessert was a cinnamon bread pudding and a maple pie. We were a happy group!

What a gem....only complaint is the menu is smaller than I would like and people in my party had a hard time finding items to pick. Especially when they wanted to order a flank steak well done and the chef refused. Plus no specials; just saying....Cocktails good, bread and butter tasty..Wine ...Diamonds in Space good as well.... Crab appetizer I really enjoyed, asparagus could have been cut down a bit....just my opinion. Beet salad with cheese was good; entrees tile fish tasty, pasta...so-so, fried cat fish, not sure what our guest thought....dessert was tasty with heat ; cookies and cream. Definitely place we been to many times and will continue to support .

Heirloom tomato salad- best tomato salad I've ever eaten

My husband and I went here for the 2nd time in early September. This place is amazing!! It's very small and tucked into a strip mall on Coastal Highway. The staff is on point- they go above and beyond. The tables are a bit tight but it's not too bothersome. I don't think I have enough superlatives to describe the food! The first visit I had scallops which were layered with corn and oyster mushrooms. Every bite is a new surprise. My second visit I got the flank steak which was the best restaurant meal I've had in a long time. It was perfectly cooked and layered with potatoes and mushrooms. There were two sauces that were to die for not to mention the chimichurri on top ! They also have Parker house rolls made in house that were so good I really feel like you can't go wrong here . I only wish I lived a lot closer!

My husband and I went to One Coastal last night for the first time in years, and we will be back for another date night soon. The food is truly incredible, and you feel like you are dining in someone's home. Our server was attentive, and we were checked on throughout our meal by multiple staff. That cinnamon tequila sour was absolutely delicious, and my husband's old fashioned was fun to watch be made. The food is just incredible. Every bite was so good, and DO NOT SKIP THE BREAD!!! Omg it was amazing, truly. Add One Coastal to your next date night agenda.

Came here on Sunday evening and was able to sit outside immediately and park in the lot right next door. This restaurant was so cute and had a unique but delicious sounding menu, it was hard to pick what to order! We got the Hello Summer and Sazarac cocktails which were delicious to start as well as the beef tartare appetizer. Then for dinner we got the Cacio Pepe, the spiced rubbed ocean city tuna entree, and New Jersey boat day scallops and all were so so good! The sizes of the entrees were large without being too much. We also go a dessert in a box to go though because we were too full to eat it right away at the table. Service was fast and thoroughly informed us on what was gluten free for one person at our table who is sensitive to gluten. Overall loved the experience here and can't wait to go back!

Food is great but the restaurant is very small. It's expensive but you get what you pay for.

Any vegan options or accommodations?

Unfortunately right now the vegan option would be the seasonal and classic salads depending on the dressing also the sides. They have rotating specials so there maybe a chance for something vegan. You would have to call in advance to see about them… Read more

Wow, thats what I've got for you folks wow…read more Lets start with ambiance, its cute here i loved it. Its a small, quaint little downstairs with more space upstairs. The decor is spot on, just so nice all around! Let's go on to the service. I'm going to shout out Caleb he was great all around very attentive. Answered all my annoying questions haha. Really fantastic. The wait times for food were just right, didn't take too long but didn't rush you. So now for me to talk way too much. OH MY GOD THE FOOD! This is easily the best food I've had in southern delaware. Hands down, full stop. I got a blackened catfish over a red beet salad. The fish was fresh! Yes fresh in February I'm impressed. The blackened seasoning was so good, just spicy enough to make me smile but not too spicy to be unpleasant. Flaky and perfectly cooked I was not disappointed in any way or another. How about the salad? Well, it was a kale salad which I'm not normally a fan of. But the elements of the salad were perfect, the toasted walnuts, the beets, apples, just everything about married in flawless harmony. Even my mother-in-law agreed the kale salad was great. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to call it this was an out of the park experience! Drinks, a new addition to my review this week haha. The bar tenders do a "great pour" per my wife and father-in-law. Me, I stick with non-alcoholic and oh man they nailed that too. This is just all good, like whole thing is great. Thank you for an awesome lunch, keep rolling folks!

As you can see from my many prior reviews this is one of my top 3 restaurants for happy hour and…read moredinner. I will summarize my two most recent family dinners here during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends: Marlene took our 5:30 PM dinner reservation over the phone. I was here with my family of nine including two children for Friday night dinner after Thanksgiving day upstairs at a corner table. I started with my spicy margarita for $14. We also shared a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy Brut champagne for $52, which was reduced down to $26 by 50% off due to Friday 50% off on all wine bottles. The Decoy brut champagne was excellent. We also shared and enjoyed the crab dip for $21. We also shared and enjoyed three dozen raw oysters samplers for a total of $81. I also enjoyed my crispy duck confit special with pappardelle, basil pesto, fried onion and garlic chilli vinaigrette for $32. My total bill was $455 excluding gratuity. Morelia C. (nicknamed Mo) served us very well as usual despite us having two children. We first met Mo, when she bartended at the downstairs bar, when we were here prior for many Sunday afternoon happy hours. We returned here again with my larger family of 14 including five children for dinner on the Saturday after Christmas. We had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. We were again seated immediately upstairs. I started with and enjoyed my two Makers Mark Manhattans up for $15 each. We also shared and enjoyed two dozen raw oysters samplers for $27 per dozen. We also ordered and enjoyed one dozen of the more expensive Raspberry Points for $48. Raspberry Point Oysters are premium, cold-water farmed oysters from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, prized for their firm meat, distinct briny flavor with a sweet finish, and deep cups, taking 5-7 years to mature in New London Bay's tidal waters. They're known for being easy to shuck and popular in gourmet settings due to their consistent quality and appealing salty-sweet profile. We also shared the calamari for $17 and the devilled eggs for $19. I also enjoyed my confit lamb shank for $38. Caleb M. served us very well despite us having five children. My total bill was $737 excluding gratuity. Caleb applied our Indian River High School band 10% discount to our bill, which reduced the total from $737 down to $663 excluding gratuity. On Sunday's our favorite bartender is Nick C. Nick said hello, when we visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to return here with family and friends for happy hour, lunch or dinner.

Some of my favorites are the homemade creamed chipped beef, which is excellent on either biscuits or toast. I also love Joey's French Toast with peanut butter and banana--it's always a treat. The kids we had with us they order the pancakes and enjoy them. If we're not very hungry in the morning, we'll often stop in for one of their fresh pastries instead. The glazed donuts, danishes, muffins, and cinnamon rolls are all fantastic. This place has such a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and is a great spot to bring kids. The staff is always welcoming, and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Two weeks ago my husband came in and was seated at a back corner table and he received horrible service. Three times he had to get up to ask for service. Last week we were turned away twice because we wanted to sit at the counter which is where we always sit. It was early in the morning shortly after they had opened so there was plenty of seating. The server behind the counter literally had a meltdown and said she couldn't handle things and we could not be seated at the counter. Also last Thursday evening we tried to order takeout for dinner. We called several times and no one answered the phone. These experiences have left us with no other choice but to find a new favorite breakfast spot. Several days ago we have sent an email to the owner and haven't received any response.
