Applying tint to car windows is something that someone who doesn't know better might think is easy. Well, I know better. I am very happy with the tinting that Car Tunes did on my vehicle yesterday. I didn't have good light to look after it was completed last evening but I just got a good look at it. It may take a while at the current temperatures (currently less than 20 degrees) for the tint to cure and it will probably be several weeks before I roll the windows down. The issue started out with the car having multiple mechanical issues within the first two days. I initially tried to go down in person and contact them but the only thing I received was a door shut in my face and no return phone calls. By the end of May I contacted an attorney as well as a dispute with my bank. Currently the company has made multiple public post saying that they have contacted me and attempted to work things out with me such as offering to pay for the repairs or returning my money but while they have posted this publicly on Facebook I have not received any actual communication from them since May 31st. I have asked them to provide proof that they tried to contact me on their end with a date stamp including but they still cannot provide that information because it did not happen. If you value the safety of the vehicle you are actually leaving with you should definitely buy from someone else don't even bother looking at these vehicles unless you're willing to put your family and yourself at risk. Also if they're able to on pages they will hide and delete reviews and comments that are negative. Make sure you check out their reviews on cars.com as well as their complaints with the BBB and reviews on there.

I had my vehicle towed to their yard because I needed them to look at it and locate a specific part. I literally printed out the part number and gave them everything they needed to make the process as easy as possible. Somehow, it still took TWO DAYS for someone to get back to me with an answer. When I finally went to the yard and asked why it had taken so long, the employee I dealt with immediately became rude, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional. Instead of simply explaining the situation, he got smart with me and repeatedly made comments along the lines of, "This is why I don't deal with us people." That comment really bothered me because I was left wondering exactly what he meant by "us people." Was it because I'm a Black woman? I can't say for certain what he meant, but given the circumstances and the way I was being spoken to, it absolutely felt inappropriate and disrespectful. On top of that, the employee appeared visibly impaired to me, and I noticed a strong smell that I associated with alcohol. Whether that was actually the case or not, his behavior and appearance did not give me confidence that I was dealing with someone who should be representing a business or interacting with customers. Absolutely terrible experience. Shitty customer service and an even worse attitude. I'll take my business elsewhere.
