I fnally treated myself to the hot new sandwich in town (well, new to me), the house-made, thick-cut Outrageous Pastrami. God tier and worth every penny. I later sampled the insanely delicious pastrami Reuben, which was equally killer. Love this place!

Okay so this spot was delicious!…read more Firstly, I enjoyed how this spot looked from both the outside and inside- very well kept. Only downside is no visible bathrooms on site. I came after a hike at Cold Spring Harbor so this would've been nice for me to use for washing my hands. They have some high chair seating inside but my friend and I opted to sit at the tables outside. They have a couple of round tables so definitely come on a nice weather day if you plan on staying. Service was fine- they seemed very self aware and diligent to get my order prepared within a certain time frame as when they handed me my food they apologized for the wait and it wasn't even that long of a wait at that point. Food wise, here's what we had: Sides: -Steak Fries: these are not in the menu so I had to ask if they had fries. These were DELICIOUS! Perfectly crispy and fluffy on the inside. I'm happy I ordered these to pair with my sandwich. Entree: -Cajun Chicken Sandwich: (Cajun chicken cutlet, avocado, onion, tomato, cheese) AMAZING! First of all this was HUGE so it's a good thing we ordered one to share! This was so delicious through and through. The combination of everything together was perfect and this sandwich was PACKED. I'd definitely order this again! Drinks: -Green Hulk Smoothie: my friend thoroughly enjoyed this smoothie! -Beach Vibes Smoothie: this was nice and refreshing as it has some orange juice in it. Pretty good spot and I will be back- hopefully to try the pastrami sandwich next time!

From the moment you arrive, you can tell this is not just a farm stand -- it's a Long Island institution with heart, history, and soul. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, especially compared to the rush of everyday life. Whether you come on a quiet weekday or a busy weekend, there's something comforting about walking through the grounds, seeing families, kids, couples, and longtime locals all enjoying the space. It feels wholesome in the best possible way. The produce and baked goods are where Kerber's truly shines. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and seasonal. Their fruits and vegetables are vibrant and full of flavor, and the baked goods smell incredible the moment you walk inside. The pies are legendary for a reason -- flaky crusts, generous fillings, and that homemade taste that's hard to find these days. Apple pie, crumb pie, pumpkin pie -- you really can't go wrong. Their donuts and breads are also standouts, perfect with a cup of coffee. Speaking of food, the prepared items and snacks are another highlight. Whether it's sandwiches, cider, or small treats, everything feels made with care rather than mass-produced. It's the kind of place where you end up buying more than you planned because everything looks (and tastes) so good. What makes Kerber's Farm especially special is the experience, not just the products. Kids love seeing the animals, parents appreciate the open space, and everyone seems to slow down just a little while they're there. It's a wonderful spot for a family outing, a relaxed afternoon stop, or even just a quick visit that turns into a longer stay because you don't want to leave. The staff has always been friendly and helpful in my experience. Even when it's busy, they remain patient and welcoming, which adds to the overall charm of the place. You can tell people take pride in working there. Kerber's Farm isn't trying to be flashy or overly modern -- and that's exactly why it works. It's authentic, comforting, and deeply rooted in the community. Whether you're coming for fresh produce, famous pies, or just a peaceful break from the day, Kerber's delivers every single time. If you're on Long Island and haven't been yet, this place is absolutely worth the visit. And if you have been before, you already know -- Kerber's Farm is the kind of place you keep coming back to. While I don't always expect an overly cheerful greeting, the service was very plain and lacked a smile. Even when I mentioned it was my first time, the staff seemed indifferent. I ordered an egg and cheddar cheese biscuit and a small coffee with sugar-free French vanilla and almond milk, which came to $15. I also picked up two mini pies for $14. The breakfast sandwich was okay, but for the price, I expected more cheese and a bit more flavor. However, the mini pastries were absolutely delicious! I would 100% come back just for those. The store itself was very clean.

We parked in the town lot and although I've lived in Huntington for many years, this was the first time I ever noticed the Double S Deli. I'm not sure how this happened but I consider myself fortunate to finally make it in. We only had an hour before we needed to get home so something quick was in order. There is a very small bar height counter near the front door with seating for three or four so this made our getting sandwiches here possible. For my little girl a ham and cheese with mayo on a hard roll. For me, a hot pastrami sandwich. Both were fresh and flavorful, nicely sized. Throw in a bag of chips and a strawberry milk and we had a nice low-key lunch and it didn't break the bank. $31 plus tip for the counter crew and we were well fed and happy. For sure we will be back.

I live right around the corner and didn't even notice it looking good or interesting and a client of mine that is from a nearby town said that I live by that deli. It's his favorite deli and he gets egg white sandwiches. This is a very discerning person so sure enough we go there now for everything. I didn't even think of them for chicken noodle soup when my daughter was sick but when we finally found that they sell it, we got the best soup with huge pieces of chicken. Great deli.
