My dryer at home broke and I had 2 weeks worth of laundry from a trip to do including a wet load of clothes. This was my first time at this laundromat and I began loading my clothes into the washer. The doors on the machines were very hard to open and close, maybe new latches that feel like they're stuck and I really had to pull to get them opened. Before I could even get my money in the machine the manager came up and told me to stop slamming the doors and then showed me how to open and close the door. I explained I wasn't trying to slam the doors to me they seemed just how they opened and closed, and told him when I searched for a nearby laundromat many yelp reviews speak of how rude he is. I know tone and intonation are hard to convey via text but the way this guy spoke to me was enough to make me pack my things and leave. Not a local business I'd choose to support, especially as a first time customer. read more

The manager is rude. Unprofessional. I will never go back. Plus there are cheaper options close by.

I rarely come here, but every time I do the owner seems to be extremely rude and watches my every move. I was only 5 minutes late and he starts complaining that my wash was done. Then I happened to leave the soap lid open and he complained about that. Additionally my cart accidentally hit the dryer door and he tells me not to slam it. Like damn what else am I doing wrong? Not sure if he's miserable with his life, but I really do nothing but mind my own business. Not to mention one time I came here he started being creepy & hitting on my mother. I really never leave bad reviews - you can check my page. But this kind of attitude is unacceptable. I did nothing wrong to deserve this kind of disrespect. He told me he closes at 7 and to come back right when it's done. It's 5 o'clock right now... it doesn't take 2 hours to dry. Not to mention THERE IS NO ONE HERE. I truly wish this guy finds some peace because he seems to hate his life & hate working at a laundromat. Not my problem! Anyways, I'll make sure to never come back here & I will spread the word. He's extremely lucky I didn't have the energy to talk back. Instead I'll leave this review here and hope more people can realize a rude owner like this one should learn some better customer service skills. I've lived in this area long enough that I've seen ownership of this facility change hands several times over the years. This new owner by far is the worst. Extremely pushy, insists that I only use certain washers, got weird when I asked about using a top loader, and is always watching. Also it's ridiculously expensive to wash here now. Shame, really. I've been going to this laundromat for about 3 years. I go very early in the morning when the manager is there. The place is immaculately clean which is no wonder as he works hard at it. Daily he vacuums the lint out of all the driers, as well as some of the washers where soap powder has been to used instead of liquid. He checks all the washers for lost items that can become stuck between the door and the rubber. He cleans all of the machines, and at least once a week I've seen him wash the windows. He does advise which machine is best to use because some are meant for heavy items while top loaders are not. He can be a bit forceful at times if you aren't listening, but he means well. Most importantly the place is immaculate, and the prices are similar to other places in the area. read more

Not only is the neighborhood safe, making me feel secure at all times of the day, I have been able to make connections with the surrounding businesses, as they seem to look out for each other and support one another! He always ensures the facility, including the machines are clean and sanitized. There are plenty of available washers and dryers, so you can do multiple loads at once saving you time. UPDATE: DO NOT GO HERE. The owner has blamed my sister & I for a leaky machine that has given us problems before. He said it was our fault due to a string/hair being caught in the machine (there was no string or hair! Also, how ridiculous is it to say that a piece of hair got caught... He is very disrespectful and has yelled at us multiple times. If you don't want to be treated as a child or yelled at for HIS broken machines, i strongly advise you to avoid this place at all costs. First time here and the person working early this Sunday morning was incredibly kind and helpful. The last time I was at a laundromat was in Chicago- let's just say this experience was completely different. We went early and it was so clean! Only one other customer there so most washers/dryers were available. The person working was helpful in suggesting which washers/dryers to use, and how much laundry to put in the dryers for fast drying. And when I mistakenly put in extra quarters in a dryer he went and gave me two extra quarters. Just all around kind. Will definitely come back! read more

If I can rate this place a zero, I would. At first, I really liked this place because it was clean and the owner seemed friendly. But the more I went here, the more I got to know how the owner really is: an arrogant asshole. He nitpicks everything. Also, he yelled at me and my sister because there was lots of water coming out of the washing machine. He told us that we cause him problems all the time. But, this exact same machine has been the only one giving us problems. Like how is that our fault? He kept yelling at us and told us to never come back again. This will be the last time we come here. Oh, and when we yelled back at him, he told us to stop yelling at him so we told him that he started yelling at us first, and of course, he was in denial saying he didn't yell. I've lived in the area over 10 years and like other reviews I've seen management change a couple times. I used to love coming to wash here but this new "manager" or person who cleans or watches this establishment is very rude and watches your EVERY move. I will admit he probably takes pride in the upkeep and care for the units - but every time I come with my daughter or kids to have help - he complains about slamming doors or watches what I put into each load. For instance today I brought pillows, grabbed them so that they weren't in the way and continued on the other side of the aisle to load reds and blues. He was quick to say "those pillows cannot be washed in these , you have to put them in the bigger washer!" I had to kindly wait until he finished his command and say very calmly "I have a load over there already, I brought these with me so they weren't in the way" to which he replied " ok " very monotone. Like let me finish loading my clothes before you start barking at me!? I am a woman of mixed race as well as my kids. White, Hispanic and Asian, the manager is Armenian who had no problem speaking to another patron in Armenian and was very friendly with her. I would say this man clearly has a problem with me as I am not the same race. It's no coincidence that every other time I'd come here there were NO issues and whenever I come now ; he magically appears and makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. Safe to say after todays nonsense ; I will be finding another place to take my money. read more

Fantastic spot. There are a lot of machines and they are all new. Larger machines and smaller ones as well. I'm the type of person to leave laundry until the last second so I always have large loads. Thankfully there are larger machines and I can get what I need done faster. Also the guy thats there is super helpful. I came in a few months ago and he showed me all the machines and advised me on how to use them. As for the other reviews I've seen few people try to come in and put bedding or huge loads in tiny machines. It's obvious that will cause damage and makes no sense to so that. Excellent laundromat with plenty of available machines in a quiet location with nearby eateries. I really enjoyed being able to utilize all of the superload machines without having to wait around for extended periods of time like at some of the other laundromats I've frequented. This place was also extremely clean and had an on duty attendant present when I needed assistance with one of the machines, I would definitely recommend Kings Laundry and ill be back in the future to take care of all my laundry needs. read more

The location is clean but the owner/customer service man is not friendly, scared my son (who was just helping mommy put money in the machine) and yelled at an older lady when she walked in (apparently mistaking her for someone else). I utilize the businesses nearby frequently (the bakery, electronics beyond and subway) this gentleman always stands guard and makes the shopping center stank of cigarettes. I can't imagine referring or returning to this location in the future. Not sure how to star rate this place! It is extremely well kept and clean! All machines are functional and reasonably priced. So for this part I give it a 5 star rating! Then there is the manager (he is there on sundays and I am not sure what other days)....from my personal experience and what i witnessed the 2x I have been there the manager guy was one step from physically wanting to fish through my clothes to insure I did not have laundry that did not belong in the standard machine and questioning why I had sheets in there...he did this to another lady a few minutes later. He questioned why I was walking out of the laundromat after I just started it and reminding me how long the machine took and how I needed to be there when it was done! When it came to drying my clothes he asked me and a few other people if the dryer that had just stopped one of ours and proceeded to give a lecture on how clothes must be removed as soon as the clothes is done. Then directed the individual to take someone else's cart for it was closer (even though it had someone else's hangers on them). This guy is what 3 other ladies and myself named as the laundromat police! He is rude and way over bearing! If I am a customer, I expect to be treated as one! I do not expect to go into a place of business to be harassed by anyone let alone an employee! read more

New to the area and happened to notice this place while stopping in at the nearby Subway. Following week I decided to stop by with a few loads of laundry and try the place out. Just so happens the owner was there that day and kindly greeted me. Overall impression was that the facility is kept clean and services are reasonably priced. No issues with washers or dryers and availability seemed adequate. They also provide a fluff and fold service which is a plus! I'll definitely try out services next time around read more
