I arrived on Friday asking for my clothing, and they told me my clothes weren't ready, come back on Monday. Come back on Monday? After waiting 5 days? I asked her why my clothes weren't ready after 5 days and rather than explaining why, she asked me in a rude, smug way if I wanted my clothes back. I told her to give me my clothes back. The lady THROWS MY CLOTHES ON THE FLOOR in front of me and told me to take my clothes and "leave old man." I could not believe what I heard. Do. Not. Go. Here. Daughter, young lady, took her cleaning... in about two weeks ago, with a flyer of coupons from valpack. (I just called the valpack corporate office to make them aware of this place.) The total was $63.49. I saw the prospective receipt. It had everything on it and a discount. Took the receipt in for pick up and it was taken away from her. She was given another two that was over 90 dollars! Antonio told her she had to expect "surprises". Gaslighting here? This is a college grad working three jobs to have money for life. She called me from the parking lot. I tried calling and explaining, and the guy who answers the phone, Antonio, asked for the number. I gave the number repeatedly, he said he didn't have that number, that it was very busy, and that he would call me back. Yet, my daughter saw no one in the place. She went back in and asked for the original receipt of the cost. He said he can't find the receipt, and just won't give it to my daughter. Why not? I called back, a young man answers and says I have the wrong number. I apologize and he says "that's okay" babe?!? I call again and I get a recording. Still can't get through. Recording. In the afternoon. On a Monday. People like these who lie and cheat should not be in business in the fine city of La Canada. They stole thirty bucks from a trusting young lady and they know it. Unfortunately had a vintage screen print shirt ruined here after I asked the associate working specifically how best to preserve the printing, they suggested dry cleaning which any actual expert would know is the #1 thing NOT to do for clothing like this. Also had a pair of vintage shorts altered and received it back with the pockets completely crooked. I asked to speak to the owner on two separate occasions and was instead spoken to very rudely by a gentleman named Carlos. There was a complete lack of customer service and at a point I was even asked "how are we supposed to fix this?" In regards to the shirt, as though the customer is supposed to provide them with those answers. Overall terrible experience, will not be returning for business with this shop. I am however waiting for a call back from the owners in regards to the repair of my damaged items and horrible service. No surprise, never received a call. 2 reasons why you shouldn't go here; the girl that was working there was very rude. I drove up and parked and was waiting in line outside 6 feet away wearing a mask and she started laughing and saying I can't believe there is more of you. I was confused and so was the other gentlemen in line. I didn't make much of it, because of COVID and it's pretty uncomfortable for most people to work. Then when it was my turn she didn't even say two words to me other than "Tuesday, ok?". I wouldn't leave a bad review just because of this experience. Come Tuesday, my wife picks up our dry cleaning and 2 of my shirts were shrunk. When the service and quality of work aren't there that's when you get a negative review. I took two blankets and one $200 Buffy cloud comforter to this place. I specifically told them and showed them which one was the comforter, and specifically and repeatedly said this comforter needs to be dry-cleaned only. I said it cannot be washed...it must be dry-cleaned only. I then showed them the two blankets and said they could wash those. When I picked them up and brought them home, I horrifyingly discovered they washed the $200 Buffy cloud comforter. Not only that, they used so much bleach on it, it stunk for days with bleach fumes. They ruined a $200 Buffy comforter. It is now all lumpy and the interior material is incorrectly spaced out evenly throughout the comforter because it was never supposed to be washed. I don't know if these people are simply unable to follow the English language and a basic request to dry-clean something and not wash it, or they are the most incompetent imbeciles to ever run a dry cleaning business. Needless to say, you should record what you are asking for if you choose to do business here and record their answers. He charged me extra to press my $1000 suit, above the dry cleaning charge. Then there were problems with wrinkles in the suit. The lady who I spoke to told me that they couldn't do it because in the afternoon, all the machines are shut off by then. Fine. After visiting a couple of other cleaning establishments since then, they have both told me that there is no machine to box shirts and that it is done by hand.
