I seldom leave reviews but had to hand it to this team of movers (Carlos, Manuel, Edwardo, and Oto) they were quick, efficient, and professional all the way! We moved twice prior to this (CA to TX) and had moved from an apartment and stuff from a storage unit - to say the least the experience was so bad we lost stuff, damages, etc. and those movers were also rated 5 stars! BUT with KING MOVERS they made me believe in the Yelp ratings again and they do deserve their positive feedback and ratings! Do yourself a favor, don't skimp on the 4 man team if they recommend it, you'll save time and money. I did! Too bad they couldn't have moved me from CA to TX that would have been awesome! This morning Edwin, Chris, and Mario helped me move from a one bedroom apartment to a two story condo. They did a fantastic job, working quickly and professionally. They even took apart my large desk and put it back together in my new place. My apartment had easy access to an elevator but they moved an entire bedroom of furniture up the stairs in my new place. They took great care of all of my things, including wrapping them in padding and plastic wrap before moving and put carpet down so as not to damage the floor. I would highly recommend King Moving to anyone else in the DFW area. read more

I would highly recommend King moving. They moved us in mid-January 2024 from 2 residents (my family's home and my mom's) into a single residence. I think they under estimated how much stuff we had, and it wasn't as smooth of a move as King or I expected. Nonetheless, it still wasn't bad, just a few things didn't go as well as I'd have expected based on their reviews. I reached out to King soon afterwards and they made it right. In June 2024, my mom pointed out that the throw carpet had wrinkles and at her advanced age was worried of tripping. We called King, expecting to pay, but hoping for a discounted price to fix the carpet. King was eager to come out and fix at no charge. While we did feel it is only right to tip the movers it wasn't required and I wouldn't have expected they would stand behind their services 6 months later. More than anything else, that really impressed me. Based on all the positive reviews, I'm confident our issues with the initial move are rare, and King is committed to making it right...even 6 months later! read more

DONOT USE THIS COMPANY! They charge just for showing up, then took their time packing our 2600 SF home and move to storage under 15 miles from Lewisville to Frisco. Instead of sending two trucks, they sent 1 trailer. Instead of taking hours it took two days. They take breaks and did not subtract break time from the total per/ hour charge until we complained to the owner Greg. They broke our select tech weight set but we were able to fix on our own. When our new home was complete, we were scheduled to move one bed / mattress and 2 TV's from storage. We found our new 55inch 4K Samsung TV damaged $1,000. They also did not drain the water line in our new 4 door Samsung refrigerator which cost us $5,999 and it had black mold from top to bottom. We contacted King Moving Company immediately and owner said he would file a claim but said he had to wait until his agent returned from vacation and she would provide the insurance info and claim number. When she returned weeks later, she emailed me a denial letter stating we'd moved the items from storage, Not True! At that time the items were still in storage. The letter also stated 90 days has past, and could no longer file a claim, also Not True! There was never a claim filed and the agent acted as a Licensed adjuster, called me and stated she needed my email address to send a settlement letter, then emailed the denial me. Total set up. This is not legal. They never obtained an official statement or filed a claim. The owner Greg King contacted me recently in August 2019, said the whole thing didnot sit well with him and wanted to make things right. I totally believed him. He says he wanted to inspect the TV and refrigerator. By this time months later, The molded refrigerator had been given away as it could not be cleaned and the tv sitting in our garage. Greg looked at the TV, said he will go ahead and file a claim. Two weeks later we get a denial letter from a insurance company who never contacted me. I had to purchase a new refrigerator and TV and the owner of this company could care less. The way this company handle me as a paying customer, almost $2000 for a local move is a company who can not be trusted. I do not write many reviews but I waited to see if this company would take accountability for the damage. They did not. I would not want this to happen to anyone else. read more

The reviews are true. I contacted these guys to do a small move for me in Dallas and they were easily the most professional movers I have ever hired. They are not the cheapest (they have a "set up" fee which I find curious) but if you have valuable items you want to protect, they are worth it. Thoroughly impressed with their team and their rates. Was offered an earlier time slot which I initially wasn't able to take but later another early window opened up which I took. The team was great, and more than helpful even offering to shrink wrap things that typically couldn't be taken just to lighten the load for me. Everything else was carefully wrapped and taken apart where necessary. There's no damages at all and I'm truly thrilled at the care and speed of the move. Everyone had a fantastic attitude through and kept working despite the 90° heat. The pricing was more than reasonable and ended up being significantly cheaper than my last move which was handled by a well known company about two men . But what really was nice admit this was Mary Lou actually managing it, coordinating and scheduling and keeping me informed and updated. Truly appreciated and added a comforting touch. I called King moving to setup the move, and it was surprisingly easy. They confirmed the move without taking a partial payment or sending me any contract in advance. I was worried if they would actually show up because I had no confirmation. The moving team did show up on the day of the move, and it was clear right away that they hire day labor to fill in the team. Most of them didn't speak English, which doesn't matter to me because I speak Spanish. I asked a couple of the guys if they were employees and they said no. Although they said they would wrap and protect furniture, they didn't protect any of it while loading and unloading it. While they moved us very quickly, I would have liked it if they had slowed down and focused on not damaging things. Speaking of, they did damage our custom leather couch (Arhaus) with several tears and a hole as well. I've been trying to get them to make good on their insurance coverage and they've given me the run around for over a year. I'm still dealing with Greg, the owner now. The company is shady, they couldn't even find my move details for two months when the guy I was working with on the claim (Cory) left the company. I would NEVER recommend using them to move anyone. read more
