This place is gonna get 5 stars based on customer service and cleanliness. I got a gel mani and the lady was very patient while I was trying to find the perfect color. She tested about 7 on my fingers before we got started. Service was quick, prices were decent. I'm SUPER particular about my gel cuticle lines. I need them to be super precise and straight not jagged and curvy. Only down side = some of my nails have jagged curvy edges however, I'll be back again and next time I'll see if she can fix those edges for me. read more

I've been here before and had an awesome guy. I went for my birthday and it was disappointing to say the least. Nails weren't on fully at the bed of my nail so my hair would get caught in between the two. My nails weren't cut, so there was huge gaps in between. She cut me and drilled down on my nail so hard I had to pull away. I could see where she went too deep even after the acrylic went over. I got a French manicure with NO ADD ONS (no gel or any extras) and when I asked what the price was, I wasn't told an answer. She beat around the bush and continued with my nails. It wasn't a good experience overall especially for it being a special treat for myself for my birthday. I ended up paying $75 for a full set of French nails, and they were bad. read more

Would maybe go back and see a different nail tech. He didn't go to the edge of my big toe or to the top of either one (pictures). I also usually love the dead skin shaver (cheese grater) but he shaved my heel raw and it hurt a little then but hurts a lot now. This little hole in the wall has a very strong chemical smell. The staff is friendly and our nails look good but nothing great.

My wife and daughter received horrible nails and my daughters were so bad they were removed before leaving. When we complained about my daughter gel nails, they accused her of moving too much. She's gets them done regularly in Charleston and has never received bad service. They lack character in dealing with clients and choose poor business practices in dealing with clients. My wife said they excessively filed her nails to remove her manicure. It ruined the integrity of her nails and will take six months to improve them. We wouldn't suggest this place it seems they cut corners on service, lack quality in painting gel nails and File nails to deep. read more

The pedicure room is separate from the front of the building, which I like (I can't stand sitting near the front of a salon when I'm trying to relax). The techs were very sweet and thorough, and didn't seem to hate that my feet are incredibly ticklish. My feet look great and the price was also great. I'll be back! read more

WARNING: This place is a joke. First time going there due to convenience and after five days my acrylic nails are lifting to the point that I can literally touch them and they fall off with no problem. The acrylic was applied thick and bumpy/uneven even though I asked the nail tech twice to thin the acrylic out a little bit and smooth the bumps. I went back and spoke to the owner and although he apologized he said they only guarantee their work for THREE DAYS and that I would have to pay half price to get them fixed. I showed him my nails and asked if he thought that that was acceptable or typical wear and tear for acrylic and gel polish for five days and he wouldn't even look me in the eye when he kept repeating that they only guaranteed their work for 3 days. Never again will I go back and pay these slack people $50 for nails that they only have the confidence to last for THREE DAYS because they only last for 3 days.. pathetic. Wish I could give this place negative stars. I'll take my money back to DK Nails in Ballentine where they do an amazing job and guarantee their nails for two weeks! read more

This place is great for a quick little go to nail fix. I walked in w/out an appt and was serviced immediately. I got a basic pedicure and a gel french manicure for 55$ and was out in just about an hour. My technician did a great job with my horribly dry and over grown cuticles and was fast and efficient. My french lines could have been thinner but that is personal preference and i didn't feel like asking her to redo them. Gel is a little heavy on the edges of my nails and usually that leads to early lifting, but we will see. They dont use a pedi tub liner but all tools were new or taken out of sanitizer. If you want a spa experience, this may not be your salon, but if you get the craving for an impromptu nail session, this is a great spot. Lots of basic colors and lots of gel colors. read more

Good place! Greeted at the door and a pretty good job done the two times I have gone. A bit pricey, I was charged $50 for a full set of acrylics with gel polish. And $40 for a fill in with acrylics nails and a few repairs. Not the cheapest place but quick and pretty decent service. read more

I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. The girl that did my nails cut my nails until I almost jumped out of my chair. I asked her to please be easier when cutting and filing. Then I had picked out a white color for my nails. She put 2 coats of polish on my nails, then didn't like the way it wasn't blending, so she put another white color on my nails and topped it off again with the original color. By the time I left from there counting the base coat and top coat, I had 6 coats of polish on my nails. I stayed 20 minutes letting them dry. Needless to say when I got home , I saw JUST what a botched up job she did. If she didn't like the way the color was going on my nails, she should have taken off the 2 coats she had already put on and started over. It wasn't my fault that I had picked a color from their salon that didn't go on smoothly. She didn't even cut my cuticles properly. She painted over my nail cuticles and it was so ugly. I took it ALL off when I got home and went today somewhere else to have my nails completely redone. The salon I went to today told me my cuticles looked like I hadn't had a manicure in a month. The girl today at another salon was wonderful. She took her time and properly cut my cuticles. This cost me , but at least I know to never go back to Spa Nails in Irmo EVER again. read more

I don't know why this place got so many rave reviews. I went here today based on reviews, and I wasn't very pleased. The session started out well, but it was very rushed at the end, just because other people came into the shop. So much for relaxing. I wasn't a fan that they only used one hot towel to cover both legs, vertically. One towel, per leg, wrapped horizontally would've been better. I was irritated that they didn't have any flip-flops remotely close to fitting my foot, nor did they try to look for any. Every person is not a size 8 shoe. When I told my tech that my foot was hanging off the back of the flip flop, her response was "Oh it's fine. You can put on your shoe when your toes dry." No ma'am. Not okay. I'm not going to put back on a closed toe, tight shoe, after getting my toes done. So the polish can smudge? Nuh uh. I thoroughly enjoyed my freshly scrubbed feet touching the gross ground outside because they didn't have acceptable flip-flops (sarcasm). Then when it came to pay, my tech stood over me while I was signing the receipt. So unprofessional. It's like she wanted to make sure I gave her a tip. I didn't like it. I won't be back. read more
