It's pretty good (not the best but far from the worst) on DoorDash. The special sushi rolls are pricey but it looks like the menu pics when you get it. It's always fresh and the rolls are stuffed compared to other places on DD. My biggest gripe is that they don't offer a space for substitutions and I have a cucumber allergy so I can only order 1-2 of their rolls on DD . The regular rolls are very reasonably priced and are very good too. The hand pulled noodles are good but they don't always use the veggies that are pictured on the menu which is a pet peeve of mine (see pics). You'll see they only used green bell peppers instead of red & green and they're overcooked & soggy. I haven't tried the soups yet. The rice dishes are good. I liked the Orange Chicken and the broccoli was nice & crisp. I really like the Salt n' Pepper chicken too! I haven't tried the hibachi yet. read more

Their scallion pancakes are delicious! There's so much flavor that I'm sure they're made in house. I came here twice, and they served different sauces. The first sauce was a light brown color and great, and the sauce I got the second time I came was too vinegary. The pan fried buns are ok. They don't have much sear on them. The pork pot stickers were alright, though the filling was very salty and seemed to have a lot of soy sauce, which I thought was odd. The dipping sauce that came with the pot stickers tasted strongly of vinegar (it was not good). The beef stir fried noodles are ok. The beef wasn't particularly tender, and the dish was lukewarm. Walked in around 7:30 PM as a party of 4 adults and 1 baby. We were sat down immediately but noticed two of the chairs had food on them...we scooted them out of the way and waited a while for a high chair. Our service was alright, I noticed our dishes were ready for a while before she noticed them and brought them to our table. The food was a 3 or 3.5 out of 10 depending on the dish. We ordered two shrimp hand pulled noodle soup, one without cilantro, one veggie hand pulled noodle soup, some shrimp tempura, the xiao long buns, an order of scallion pancakes, a dynamite roll, and a Boston roll. I liked the dynamite roll, but the Boston roll wasn't rolled very well so was falling apart or sagging at some pieces. It was fine taste-wise, though. The soups were fine but not as flavorful as some Taiwanese restaurants in Plano. The noodles were good and you could see them making and hand pulling them in the kitchen area. The scallion pancake seemed overpriced for what seemed like a single pancake cut into many pieces, the shrimp tempura was alright, and my favorite dish by far was the xiao long buns - very flavorful. As for ambiance, the place looked nice and was pretty clean besides the food on the two seats. There was club music playing which was kind of funny, and some TVs, one with WWE and one with a hand pulled noodle recipe video (I think). Overall, it was alright. read more

The food that I bought was completely and utterly inedible if I could give negative stars or I definitely would. We came here for a spontaneous date night. The place was clean and the decor was cute. The service was really good. We ordered egg rolls, Xiao long bun, a Denton Roll and Fry Jalepeno to start. I feel like the egg roll and long bun needed about 3-4 more minutes cooking. The flavor was really good. The fry jalapeño was really good and so was the Denton roll. They're similar in taste and texture so I wouldn't recommend ordering them both at the same time. We also ordered the General Tso which was good. It had good flavor, but we might not order that again. It tasted like a typical average general chicken. Lastly, we ordered the beef stir fried noodles and that was a hit! The flavor was everything! We have been to this place 2-3 times now and I believe it's time I write a review. Customer service is superb! Each time we come here, their servers always provide the best customer service. There's was also a time when we ordered over the phone and there was a misunderstanding on the order where we got a beef noodle soup instead of the beef stir fry. They compensated us one beef stir fry the next time we came by. Food is amazing. I've had the veggie ramen and the way they made that egg is amazing. I am sad it only comes with one. I will order and extra egg the next time I order it. Then their deep fried jalapeño with some cream cheese and smoke salmon was off the walls delicious! Our favorite was the beef stir fry which we ALWAYS order no matter what new dish we try. They really nail the recipe with their fresh, delicious , home made noodles. I was happy to hear that Mesquite had gained a new restaurant. King Noodle Sushi is located at the border of Mesquite and Sunnyvale. It's in a pretty quiet location off Galloway Avenue and 80 with an unsuspecting beautiful interior. I was blown away by the wall designs and never suspected the size of the restaurant from the outside. It was quite a nice looking establishment. Great service, we were seated immediately and had a very friendly and patient server who answered our questions and offered suggestions. The biggest draw to trying them out was the hand pulled noodles, we were excited to try something fresh and different. They have a semi open kitchen concept where you can actually watch them pull the noodles and assemble the sushi (there is a tip jar on the counter). In total I visited two times and here is what we tried: Appetizer: - Spring rolls (2pcs) $4.49. Pretty basic, nothing special but wasn't bad. Kind of pricey. - Cheese Wonton (6) $5.99. We enjoyed them, they were extremely well made where the sweetness of the cream cheese wasn't overpowering. The sweet and sour sauce that comes with this order had the consistency of water and was just ok. Entrée: - General Tso's Chicken, $12.45. Just ok. Nothing I could see myself craving or wanting to try again soon. Tastes very similar to any Chinese takeout but costs more, comes with a decent portion of rice for two people - Chicken Stir Fried Noodle, $12.45. Not good. The noodles were much thinner than the beef stir fried noodles that we had tried earlier. Had a smoky taste to them that wasn't appealing. Doused in soy sauce-like consistency that didn't stick to the noodles. - Beef Stir Fried Noodle, $12.45. Excellent. Best value and taste. The noodles were made to perfection and were perfectly seasoned. We absolutely craved these noodles again as they were seasoned and sauced perfectly. Sushi: - Spicy Crunchy Roll, $11.99. This was pretty standard for a special sushi roll. Made with California roll topped with spicy tuna, crabmeat, masago, tempura crunch eel sauce, and spicy mayo. We felt it was well made and tasted fresh. - Dynamite Roll, $11.25. Made with Salmon, Jalapeno, cream cheese wrapped slight battered, masago, fried eel sauce, spicy mayo on top. I could barely taste the salmon as it was overpowered by the taste of warm cream cheese from when they fried the roll. Warm cream cheese isn't the most appetizing... Couldn't taste the jalapeno. The rolls were cut thin but didn't fall apart. We didn't enjoy the taste of this and felt the rolls didn't match the price point with how little we could taste the salmon. I would not get this item again. - California Roll, $6.99. Most places charge around this amount but it was pretty basic and what you'd expect. We enjoyed it for its reliable and un-disappointing taste. Overall, I would visit again but only for the BEEF hand pulled stir fried noodles and spicy crunchy roll as good sushi is hard to find in the area. The wasabi barely has a taste which was surprising and would be so much better if it was authentic. I wouldn't really get sushi and just spend more of my money on the noodles. Don't be fooled by the reviews, this place has a beautiful view. Filled with pretty smiles & quick service. But the food is so bland it's disgusting (no exaggeration we left almost all of it behind). The food came out so fast.. and you don't usually complain about fast service but this food came so fast it almost made you wonder how exactly was it being prepared/cooked? We tried just about everything... 1) Fried Rice - Burned.. tasted like that wok had never been cleaned and the rice just kept getting mixed with older rice. We got combination meat for an extra $4 and the "beef" tasted so artificial almost like a vegan texture meat but with NO Flavor. 2) Spicy Beef Noodle - Tasted like water down Birria juice with $0.35 cent noodles. I mean the photo shows it's originally made there but it's not! I tried to salvage the broth with chili oil & soy sauce but even that couldn't save it. 3) Xiao Long Buns - An Approximate 20min wait for these to be steamed only to come out still raw and not fluffy or puffed at all. I mean if you've had these before you definitely know that the texture is spongey this was not the case & a red wine vinegar was given alongside this as a dipping option. 4) Sushi - This was probably the most decent dish, but the avocado tasted like it had been cut and sitting outside in room temperature for quite some time.
