Rude from the core!!! THE OWNER MISTREATED US!! Today my family and I visited the China bowl express at 11555 Jupiter Rd. We ordered our food, 3 plates and two drinks-one can soda which was listed at $1.50 on their price board and one bottle soda which was listed at $2.50. We paid and as we were waiting for our food my mom was looking at the receipt and notice we were charged $2 for can soda and $3.12 for the bottled soda. Now while this isn't a huge increase we only questioned it thinking the girl at the register mistakenly charged us the wrong drinks. When we went to ask her about it she said "oh it's cause the owner told me to always up charge the drinks, but if you'd like I'll bring her over" I told her that'd be fine. As the older asian lady walked up to me before I even said a word she looked at me and yelled "if you don't like the price leave! I don't like customers of your kind and I already have many customers anyway" (I'm Hispanic by the way) Confused on why this angry lady is yelling at me I tried to calmly let her know I was charged more than what she had on her price board but she kept yelling over me and would not allow me to talk. Now I'm not feeling calm anymore and she has made this into a bigger problem because of her disrespect. I told her I would be filing a complaint because she should be charging what she has on her price list and if it has changed then she should make the change on the board don't just upcharge without letting customers know. I will NOT be returning to this business and I hope others don't bring her business either. I don't see how she is blessed with customers with that disrespectful-racist attitude. If I'm going to a place of business to spend my hard earned money I expect the same respect I give. I went in wanting to have a nice meal with my family and instead got disrespected and discriminated against just because I was questioning if I was charged correctly. Totally un called for, why would you start yelling at your customer before even allowing them to ask their question?! I was flabbergasted! First and last time I will give her my money. I just recently decided to give it a try, best decision ever! Fried rice it's really good with a lot of shrimp/chicken (A lot) and a lot of veggies. Beef broccoli super good, tender and tasty! They can make you food spicy or regular which is awesome! I really love how nice they are! Specially the old lady she's so nice and funny I have tried the bobba teas/smothies Taro- Sooooooo good! The owner is very funny and sweet! She knows my order already! The food is very flavorful & they give a great amount of food! I always make sure my order is all there before I leave and all I've ever had to ask for was extra napkins only because I'm a messy eater. Other then that I have never had issues with them forgetting something or had to go back for anything! The food is always hot so when I get home it's still very hot which I love! Quality is good too IMO. The beef and chicken looks and tastes like beef and chicken (let's face it, some takeout places can't say this ha). Beef and broccoli is good. Lo mein and chicken fried rice is good. Rangoons are good. Soups are good. Again, serving sizes incredible. Service is FAST. Price is affordable. Food is good. This place always gets the orders wrong or they forget to put everything you ordered. Of course they tie up the bag extra hard so you can't go through your order there. I've had to drive back several times to get what I paid for and ordered. Instead they give you what they want and then when you call to tell them they expect you to waste your time and gas to return it and go back. I'm never buying from here again. This place is located in the same building as Mi Pueblito off Jupieter Rd--just at a different end of the building. They share a common space and tables. While at Mi Pueblito I often wondered about this place at the other end, and also wondered why Mexicans were eating at the Chinese place and not Mi Pueblito. So I decided to give it try for lunch. The Good: portions are huge! I ordered pan fried dumplings ($3.75) and the order came with 12!! If I had known that would have been a lunch by itself, maybe with a soup. The dumplings were ok, not terrible, not terrific, but they were filling. I also got an entree (see below), because I never expected such a huge amount of food. Prices are very reasonable here and if you consider that a normal person cannot eat it all, you really end up with enough food for 2 or 3 meals. I ate until I was full and still took home two containers of rice and the entree. The Bad: portions are big, but unless I drank so much beer last night that I killed every single taste bud in my mouth, the food did not have much flavor. I also got orange chicken with the dumplings, and it was supposed to be "hot and spicy" but it was not. In fact, it lacked flavor completely. The rice also did not have much flavor, even with soy sauce (how much did I drink last night?) The Ugly: Cash only. The people who work here do not know much English so don't even think about asking about any of the meals. Just point to a number, pay, take a seat and they will bring it to you in a few minutes. Would I return? Hard to say. Mu Pueblito is so much better, the cashiers know English and are helpful. So the question why Mexicans are eating at China Bowl Express instead of Mi Pueblito remains a mystery to me. read more

I was unsure if the reviews for this place were going to be accurate since they were all so glowing but I was delighted to find them true. This place is really good. The pepper steak was brightly colored with perfectly cooked peppers. (No soggy veggies here.) The garlic pork was well balanced between sweet, sour, and spicy. I usually prefer spring rolls to egg rolls but these were the best I've had in years. (Sorry, Roll n Go!) I ordered take out and the order was ready when I arrived (within 10 minutes) and cost less than $25 for two soups, egg rolls, and entrees. Needless to say, I am impressed and will be going back to this mom and pop place again and again. This is the best Chinese we have in this area. The combination NOODLE SOUP ($9) is huge and is not on the drive up menu - but it is on the menu on line. OMG.. it has everything in the world in it!
