The Mrs. and I both had a hankering for some real good fried rice. I came across an ad on FB that quite a few people were raving about. We went to a spot called Rice House Express. Nice little spot, cool atmosphere, very friendly staff. We both ordered the Chris fried rice which comes with quite a few proteins. Shrimp, chicken and beef. Loaded with nicely seasoned fried rice and vegetables. They give you quite a bit of food where they couldn't even close the box! We also ordered the fried chicken wings which were bursting with flavor. We really enjoyed the food and the prices weren't too bad either. I think I spent $35 for food, appetizer, and drinks. This business needs to be shut down. not only do they miss manager employees. You're not allowed to tip the few people who work here and actually do their jobs. they hire family members, who think they own the place. Recently received less than a B rating. My visit was not planned but I remember passing by this place a few times . After parking, I walked inside to a friendly face. I don't remember the young man's name but he's part of the reason this place is getting an extra star. There was also a young lady at the counter who never made eye contact or acknowledged me. I thought that was weird especially since I was the only customer there. I directed my attention to the young man who explained the menu to me. I ordered Chris Fried Rice. It's a double combination of meat and your choice of heat level. I love eggs so I was hoping to get a few extra. :). I also ordered a pork egg roll and a shrimp egg roll that is made in house. When I arrived home, I opened my box and tried a few bites. The flavor is ok but I'm not a fan of the rice. They add a slaw type blend of veggies to their rice. I can taste a little heat but not the flavors of the fried rice. I even tried adding soy sauce. I couldn't eat anymore so I tossed it in the trash. Next, I tried the pork egg roll but it was not great at all. The homemade shrimp egg roll was not worth the money. Someone forgot to add seasoning to these egg rolls. My entire meal went in the trash. I can't speak on their other dishes which includes beef and broccoli, sesame chicken and more. I called and ordered Hawaiian fried rice with med spice added, orange chicken with fried rice med spice, 2 egg rolls, and cream cheese wantons. I thought there'd be dinner for 2 people, but the portion size was for 4, and the food is great tasting. The Hawaiian rice is my wife's favorite, and with the pieces of ham, pineapple etc it's easy to see why. The orange chicken is some of the best I've had big pieces of chicken fried to perfection and covered in their wonderful orange sauce. The egg rolls are good, the cream cheese wantons are again big in size and great tasting. We will definitely be ordering from here again in the future!! read more

They got some good rice here for a somewhat reasonable price . The staff here is helpful and gave me some good advice as to what to try . The Chris fried rice appears to be where it's at, and the fact that you can change the spice level come in clutch for your preference style . Portions were great but the prices could be better. Just opened Dec. 9. 1st time last time. I ordered the Orange chicken to eat it there, it came in to go boxes. I asked for hot mustard for the Pork egg roll which I did not get so I had to hobble over to the counter to get. I am disabled. Egg roll was hot and tasty. I had the beef & shrimp "Chris" fried rice. The Chris rice contains more egg and more veggies. I have no idea what some of these other reviewers are saying that it was plain. I have been to this restaurant around 10 times now in the past year and I am so happy to say that the quality of the food just gets better. The staff is always kind and if we dine in they make sure we have everything we need. The restaurant itself is nice and not dirty at all, the restrooms are clean and we never have to worry about sitting in awkward silence because there's tvs to keep us entertained if we just want to relax and eat. Delicious!!! Brought my friend here for her birthday lunch. Place looks clean and was greeted right away by the owner , she took our orders and was helpful answering our questions about the menu. I was a little skeptical bx they serve everything in Chinese looking Togo boxes . But wow! We got our entrees it was so much food ! She ordered the sweat and sour chicken , I had some and it was delicious perfectly crispy ! We bought got fried rice which was good as well. I got the beef and broccoli which was tasty however I didn't like the way it was chopped. The broccoli's were huge and yummy but I felt like I tasted all broccoli and not enough beef bx it was literally chopped so small. I also ordered us some shrimp egg rolls that were huge !! Not ordinarily sized which I loved lol. I got a egg drop soup to go which was a great size and also delicious and it came w those fried little strips on the side I love that w the soup!
