The Yaji Fried Rice brought me back. This time around I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners; a super nice guy. We chatted about some of his ideas and plans for restaurant. This led to him going to the kitchen on the fly and making me a dish he's considering putting on the menu - the Wahala Fried Rice and Sesame Jerk Wings. The only way I could describe this rice was that it tasted like a Jollof + traditional Fried Rice blended together. You're definitely in for a treat. And if the Yaji rice is too spicy for you, then the Wahala might be a less spicy alternative... but only slightly. As for the wings, sign me up for anything jerk. I came for the grand opening and it was NOT to be missed. Dj booth, prizes. Raffles, a dancer AND THE NEVER ENDING SAMPLES!!! I ordered the honey walnut shrimp and those bad boys were colossal sized. Everything tasted so fresh, even the veggies were seasoned! The concept is pretty original and while the parking sucked due to the amazing support this place has, on a regular day parking shouldn't be an issue! Shout out to the local support! I place to go order yesterday, which was July 10, and I wanted to order the lava noodles. I asked the person on the other line if it was really spicy and they Told me that they cannot eat real spicy food, but they were able to eat that so it wasn't very spicy when I got home. It was so spicy to the point where it almost made me sick so I called and talked with the owner and he said he would remake me lo mein noodles And he said they didn't open until 1 o'clock I said OK well then I guess I could be there around two or so never gave a definite time. I just called the place the order and they said that it had been ready since 2 o'clock and I said well I never gave a different time I was going to be there at two and it's been sitting out for going on almost 2 hoursis there anyway you can remake it because it's dangerous with food sitting out that long, especially with shrimp in it and she talked to the owner and he said no I don't know why someone would make a dish when a person did not give a definite for sure time . It might be nice if all reviews were 100% objective, but that impractical when you're comparing a burger dive in a one horse town with a Pappas Bros or Perini steakhouse. So, this is a relative rating among Asian fast food establishments. It's also a "hopeful" rating because I hope these folks do well. We stopped in for an evening meal at about 6:30pm on a Wednesday. They weren't busy, and we were able to order immediately. The menu was on a board and ordering was at the register. Everything was clear, but the helpful guy behind the corner was ready to answer any questions. My only disappointment was that most of the their fountain drinks were not working and they had no tea available. I didn't know that until I ordered a drink. My wife ordered water, which was free. Our orders were brought to the table quickly. That justifies my "fast food" tag. Being fast doesn't mean it's not great. It just means it's quick and hot. Nothing fancy, but well prepared and served in an appealing fashion. I had kung pao chicken and my wife had sweet and sour chicken. She said hers tasted great, and especially liked that all of her chicken was white meat. Mine was very tasty also. I've had this dish at many places and some are "sparse" with maybe some green onions, peanuts, sauce and chicken. I was pleasantly surprised to find squash, with red and green bell peppers. Everything is prepared in the open kitchen so it's easy to see all of it is fresh. The fried rice had plenty of egg, tiny dices of carrot and peas. The rich itself was all separate grains with no clumping. It was more than adequate and had very good flavor. All in all five stars. read more

This restaurant is a really interesting concept of Asian x Nigerian fusion. I am not usually a fan of fusion restaurants as I don't think many do it well but this spot got it right. Everything I tasted was very flavorful. I especially enjoyed the Yaji Fried Rice that I ordered and the Mongolian Suya Beef that my friend ordered. Being that this is a new establishment, it wasn't too busy when we went and we received star treatment from all of the staff that attended to us. The decor and layout are light and unfussy lending to a chill & laid-back environment. There was fun music playing in the background that still allowed for ample conversation.
