To whom it may concern: On Monday July 2, 2012 I call the store to make sure that there was dry ice available. I spoke with a Chelsey and she said "we always have it". I asked her to actual double check for me as I have been over there several times in the past and there was no availability. I was on hold for a few minutes and when she got on the phone told me that "there was plenty". So, I drove over there and guess what? There was not any. I am not sure if she even looked as she is in the produce area and not the service area. I am a manager at a research facility in Cherry Creek and find this a little distrubing if she did not actually go look or at the very least ask someone else to. I buy dry ice from you at least three times a week. I am giving a two star rating today because of this issue. All of the times in the past have been fine. Dan. read more

I rarely cant find what Im looking for in King Soopers. With a range of cheap to good quality products its the only grocery store I use!

The deli is been beautifully updated but it so slow that I almost never have the patience to wait for the service. It seems that with all the updates and increased options, they would have a few more employees to help with demand. read more

Where do i begin? Ever since my fiancee and I moved in to the neighborhood. Took our first shopping trip at this location wasnt good experience. it just contines through time. The only reason I'm come her is because they have a better selection for GF products. How ever, betweeen the attitude from some cashiers(not all some a good other have been unpleasent), pharmacy associates; But this week hit an all time low. I did order to pick up due to my fiancee testing postive, this is our only way to get our groceries. I put my order in Wednesday moring at 5 am. Earliest pick up was thursday at 7-8 pm. Call me at 6 oclock, an hour before im supposed to get my order. they called to say its canceled saying they couldnt get it done that day. i understand delayes and under staff (work plenty of retail) like it being picked tomorrow. Instead told it was cancled and to come in get my own or place another order. Payment was taken and refund wont be issued 24-48 hours. I call to speak the department manager and he was decent and said that he would fix my order and get picked and have someone call. 6 pm rolls around i call to see when we should come. First olaced on hold for 15 minutes bounced around (understand they are busy) but then to forward straight to assiant manager. I explained the issue all he said there is nothin there and until they get a hold of the guy who told told you this. "the guy who said this", is your department manager. and tell me there is nothing you can do. Like it just felt very heartless, not sure where the customer service went. constant disappointment, frustration. Now i feel like a piece of shit to this company. I cant express how upseting this is. I know that there are people in worse state than I, if thats the case I truly home you come across a kind hearted person. Or you might not get your order. I wish people were better to each other. Horrible customer service in the liquor store! I only went to this store for the antipasto bar to prepare for a party. I picked up a couple items in the liquor store and the attendant Angel was so rude! She first pretended that she didn't hear what I asked for and then held the item up upside down and backward and asked if that was what I was looking for. She then asked for my ID. I'm a 54 yr old adult, well dressed and EMPLOYED. I've never been "carded" there before and this young lady just did it to be spiteful and asked that I bring my ID "next time". I just spent a lot of money in the store and am a loyal KS customer. She was very pleasant to the man ahead of me who was obviously a regular customer. I asked for a manager in the store and no one could find anyone. They said no manager was on duty. I have a home in Aurora and Glendale and normally go to the Colorado Blvd location when in Gendale. SO less snooty and much more friendly but no antipasto bar. A good reminder to avoid this location at all costs. Never again. read more

The front check out sucks. The back where the liquor is the people are truly nice. You can't bring anything to weigh out there, but even if you're not buying liquor better to check out at the back where they are really nice people. We are vacationing for a few months, we have learned how to work this store. Always check out the back, the liquor dept, NEVER the front w rude people and long lines. read more

I'm so disappointed with the customer service here. From the pharmacy to a woman named Nermina who checked me out today. I understand people have bad days. But whenshe's chatting and laughing with a coworker in front of me, then turns to check me out her smile wiped from her face and she was expressionless. I live a couple blocks down the street and this King Soopers is extremely convenient. This place is always packed though! They have stuff on sale quite frequently, which is awesome, and I come here so often it helps out with my gas points. Double bonus! But a downside is that there is ALWAYS a long line for the gas, no matter the time of day. And the areas for cart parking are always filled too. I swear they don't bring the carts in until the end of the day. For the most part this store is fairly clean, but I've come across some nasty bathrooms from time to time. And of course the self-checkout is always packed too with people who have carts full of stuff. They really should limit the amount of items people are allowed to bring into the self-checkout lanes. And the "attendants" are always so busy chit-chatting that when my checkout lane says "attendant has been notified to assist you" I have to call them to actually get their attention. On the plus side, this grocery store also has a liquor store attached in the back. Granted, there's an actual liquor store the next block over, but this one is nice because I can earn points there too. This isn't a bad store, but it could be better. read more

Unfortunately getting really tired long lines, poor customer service. So go early thinking ill miss the lines. Shelves aren't stocked, aisles are blocked so can't get down them with a cart or have to move boxes. No line! But cashier acts likes I'm making them hate their job and I'm bagging my own groceries. They have a great liquor department which is nice and produce is usually good. If I have to keep bagging my own groceries I should get 10% off at checkout. Oh and it's It's 9am! The store has a great selection, however the way the lights are situated (using fluorescent and bright hanging lights) causes eyestrain. I recently went in and had to leave before I found most of the stuff I needed because of the headache it caused. None of the other King Soopers I frequent cause this problem. read more

now this is a grocery store! if only i could get the cojita that i can get at the queen soopers here, it would be perfect. perfect i tell you. like the grocery stores back home (how the hell is indiana better than colorado in any way you may ask? well first, indiana sells beer, liquor, and wine in grocery stores and second, the colts, but i digress). you can pretty much get everything here. the organic options are not too great, but most groceries that are not whole foods kind of suck in that area anyway. we drive 4 miles out of our way to go to this store and it's worth it. read more

Ok so I want to love this king soopers because it is right Down the street and it's one of the only ones in the area that sells alcohol. Coming from California I am a big fan of buying your booze while you shop for groceries. I am not sure if people in California even go to liquor stores (or at least myself) because grocery stores have the best deals. Anyways I digress, love being able to buy alcohol and that it is like the king soopers super store, that being said the produce sucks! It really is awful. I bought some spinach and arugula on Friday night 10.30 that said it would be good until 11.08 and when I went to make a sandwich with it the morning of 11.02 it was bad and had that awful fish smell of spoiled greens. Yuck. What a way to start the week off. It literally could not even last 3 days. Unfortunately this wasn't just a one time thing. Any time I buy any produce here it spoils way to quickly. Such a waste of money. I refuse to buy any produce here because it all sucks. read more

I went in last night to grab a quick bottle of wine before closing. Just came off a 16 hr work day and I made it into King Soopers at 1150pm. I walked in to the liquor store side and Josh N told me I had 5 min and he was closing. I responded with I know what I want I will be quick. When I got to the checkout counter I told Josh N I was sorry for coming in last min and his response in a very hostile tone was that it baffled him that anyone would come in that late. I sat there uncomfortably while I gave him cash. After I paid I told him to have a good night and he slammed the cash register and replied "ah huh, yeah." His tone was completely rude and for someone working in customer service that was completely unprofessional. I just came off a long day and yet I can be polite. I walked out of the front of King Soopers at 1155 so I am not sure what his problem was. I wasn't exactly holding him up as he couldn't count his register until midnight anyway but his behavior certainly ruined my evening. I do not think I'll be going back. read more

This is the worst pharmacy. I have been here two times in the last two weeks - once for amoxicillin and once for Tamiflu. Both times they have been out of prescriptions and have caused my family major inconvenience. Also, they have major attitude. read more

Not a bad store in general but DO NOT buy Christmas tree from this store!! Just got it home & it was INFESTED with spiders! I'm not talking a few here or there, I mean my floor was covered in spiders in a matter of minutes! With all the trees & plants they have surrounding the entrance of the store it makes me wonder how they could possibly keep all these spiders from entering their store. read more

This is my go to store, but I will stop going if the customer service doesn't improve. I have been nearly run over twice by employees while trying to find products in different aisles. No " can I help you find something " let alone an excuse me. Last straw was while I was waiting at the customer service counter for almost 15 minutes with no employee there, no sign saying they would return, no line across the Que. indicating they were closed or unavailable. I wanted to buy Stock Show tickets. One employee made eye contact with me, walked right past me without saying anything. Best part was the manager staring at me ( and me staring back at her) for a good five minutes. No acknowledgment of me waiting at all. She went into the office located right next to the customer service desk and did not come out. I am still waiting, hoping, I can MAYBE get stock show tickets, as advertised all over the local networks that I could get at King Soopers....Nope!! No one came out of the office in which I just saw the manager go into! Eventually the very nice man that was working at the self check out station informed me that the customer service desk was closed due to " short staffing". Really? Your manager is sitting in her office. I just saw her go in there. My request would have taken three seconds. No one offered to call said manager or offer me another alternative. I think this location has become complacent because it sells liquor. So sad, I hope something changes soon, cause I'm really over it. read more

This pharmacy sucks! This is only my second time using them but both times I have dropped off my script. the night before and told them I need them early tomorrow. The first time I waited for a call all bay but didn't get one so I stopped by after work and they still weren't reddy so I had I wait 45 min. So I called at 8am the second time and they said it wasn't ready but it would be by 9. It's now 10 and I'm still sitting here waiting. I recommend the Walgreens right down the road! read more

This King Soopers sells beer/wine/liquor and has displaced the Monacco & Leetsdale store as you can now buy food and beer/wine/liquor in one trip which is convenient and has inexpensive groceries compared to the Target around the corner which also sells spirits. This is a fairly new store with wide aisles and large selection. Also has a gas station on premises. Store is clean, bright and well stocked. If you are a fan of a good wine selection-10% discount if you buy 6 bottles and couple of times a year 20% discount on 12. read more

I continue to be impressed by the selection and prices here. They have all the organic products I like as well as a much improved cheese selection (and you can ask the cheese empress Nosha to help you, she's fantastic). It is rare that I cannot find something here I need at a decent price (and we are cooks!) and their Kroger brand sometimes beats the name brand (natural peanut butter would be a case in point) Daz Bog whole bean coffee you can grind yourself, nice steaks, good olive selection, boar's head meats, decent produce. I find the store clean and well-stocked and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. read more

It's the same as every other king Soopers with the exception of having a liquor store. The deli has some great foods and the cheese,wine, olive bar and wing bar are pretty cool. However, the parking lot is horrendous and the deli asks you to take a number as if you are at DMV and they are so busy they excuse their rudeness quite often. Personally I will no longer patronize the deli because of this. I too have purchased chicken from the meat department that was not expired but it was spoiled, TWICE. Navigating between the front registers and the aisles also is a hassle because the lines are always long and it's very hectic. I used to go to the store specifically for the deli or the liquor store but there are delis out there that don't treat their customers like cattle and other liquor stores that stay open until midnight. read more

This review is for the gas station - specifically for the attendant that was on duty on Saturday, 2/27 @ 1:00pm. I stopped at this gas station as I was on my way to return my rental car. The car had a push button start and somehow, between Park Hill and this gas station, I lost the key. I didn't realize this until I tried to restart the car after getting gas and it said no key was found. I thought maybe I threw it way with a couple of other things and the exceedingly nice employee came out and cheerfully dug through the garbage to look for it (I hadn't been able to reach to the bottom and he came to take the bag out). He didn't find it, but helped me look everywhere we both could think of, put cones around the car so that people wouldn't get in line behind me, and was totally accommodating while I was waiting to get towed. I think his shift ended while I was still there and he came over one last time to check on me and see how things were going. I greatly appreciated all his effort to help. There was also another employee who stopped by a few times to ask how things were going and commiserate with me. All-in-all they made a frustrating experience much less stressful. read more

Went in to buy beer and saw display of "Make your own six pack". Took time picking out six beers and went to check out. At check out the clerk "Rafig" challenged whether one of the beers was from the "make your own six pack section". Rafig then realized that it was from that section. He THEN told us that we could not purchase it (it was too expensive). We asked to speak to the manager. Rafig walked off to talk to the manager the next isle over. The two stood over there discussing their stocking policy; the manager never came over to us. THEN Rafig told my son he would have to take one of the other beers out of the carton as he wanted my son to buy up the last expensive beer. Rafig said, "You have to take this one" (referring to the last expensive beer in that section). I said, ok, you can give it to us. He stated he would not give it to us we would have to take it and replace one of the existing beers with the last expensive one. We simply refused as my son had picked out the beers he had wanted. It was an embarassing encounter as we were treated as we had been shoplifting and never were given an apology for taking up our time while Rafig and the manager talked or for the fuss which created attention from other customers in line. They don't even know what they are doing with their stock and Rafig was absolutely arrogant wanting us to exchange a beer so he could clear out his stock. read more

I ordered flowers to be sent to a friend for her 60th birthday from King Soopers online because I knew they were local to Denver. I called their 1-800 number to confirm delivery and they told me that it was too early in Denver, the store had not opened, so they would call them after they opened and call me back. They never did. I called again a couple of days later and spoke to someone else who reported that they had been left with a neighbor and gave me the address of the "neighbor". The "neighbor" was not even close to their house, so they either mis-delivered, or just made up the address. They told me that they would pick them up from the neighbor and deliver them to my friend and they even asked me if she was home. Told me they would be delivered that day. Nothing. I called again and asked for a complete refund. Supposedly, my credit card will be credited in 2 - 3 business days. I'll NEVER use them again!!!! read more
