Returned to try their Oxtail Soup. Great price. Great taste. Pro tip, get it with noodles instead of rice. It hits differently. Just note that the noodles is a $2 add-on. You still get a complimentary basket of chips, free parking and friendly service.

(This is about their Dinner service) They recently added a new dinner service available every Thursday, Friday, & Saturday from 4-8:30pm We tried everything off their dinner menu: Half Rack Pearl BBQ Ribs $21 Chef's Shrimp Scampi $17 Grilled Ribeye Steak Dinner $31 Mauka to Makai $32 You get your choice of side with the dinner entrees. I recommend getting the mashed potatoes. Portions were great and price I thought was quite reasonable too. On top this, you can still order from their daily lunch menu, pupus, and dessert too. It's not busy for dinner since they recently just started dinner service but this is a great spot that's not in town with a nice sunset view. Also lots of free parking as well.

Three friends and I played at Pearl, and there was positives and negatives during the round: Positives: Nice golf course with views of Pearl Harbor. The course has elevation changes and doglegs (bends in the fairways), that make the course interesting; Staff, esp Ryan in the pro shop showed a lot of Aloha; Negatives: The course has some of the toughest greens I've ever played. They are hard so you really need to land your ball short, and let it roll up to the flag; Some of the greens are crowned and it makes it a challenge to keep your ball on the green at times; High price ($175) in the am if you are not kama'aina (local). The course isn't a $175 course IMHO. All in all, a very good experience vs some of the other courses I've played on the leeward (West) side of O'ahu. I'd play here again twilight (starting @ 1 pm), bc the price is only $95.

The former Pearl Country Club, now reopened as Pearl at Kalauao, temporary closed back in early 2024, for a comprehensive redesign of its golf course and clubhouse, It reopened under its new name in late 2024, with full operations resuming in early 2025. With its upgraded facilities and refreshed layout, it's an overall great place to enjoy an awesome round of golf.

My wife recently had a retirement party at this location, the facility looks pretty nice. I believe they have two different rooms. We booked one of the room further down from the hallway. It was a buffet style dinner. They set up an area for self service drinks like iced tea and coffee. They also have a wet bar that you pay as you go. Table set up like a banquet style party, air condition, carpet. Very typical. Plenty of parking outside. We enjoyed the party environment very much. The cost per head is $85. I guess the cost also depends on your manual item too. Overall, it is a nice place for celebration and party.

Beautiful course in Aiea located up the hill and not too far from Pearl Ridge Mall. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere on the course, from arrival until you leave. Carts are not permitted near your vehicle so you may drop your bag before you park, or someone will always drive up to your vehicle offering to transport your clubs for you. The proshop is small but has a little bit of everything, snacks, drinks including alcohol for the course, hot food, clothes, shoes, hats, sunscreen, balls, tees, accessories, and swag. Purchase your range balls here and take your ticket over to the booth before heading to the driving range. The driving range has about ten spaces and newer turf. You need your own tees to drive and try to bring shorter ones with you, otherwise they do sell tees in the proshop but they are very tall. I have eaten in the restaurant, not recently, but it was pretty good food with great views. The course is pretty and well maintained. Enjoy your round!

Last Wednesday of every month, Pearl does a night market with a bunch of vendors, lunch wagons, pop ups, and beer fest tastings. Really cool event for the community with great live music! My aunty them actually live down the road and come every month. This was my first time here, and it was a great time. Get here early because parking does tend to get crowded, but parking attendants do their best to make even more space as they can. But a lot of street parking, just a little bit of a walk. If you do get to park inside, bring a chair so you can possible take food back to the car to sit and eat. They do have seating at the event, but does tend to get crowded. Food, music, goodies, and fun! Will definitely come by more. They do have alcohol with the beer fest, but also have cocktails, liquor, wine, seltzers, and more. Family friendly too!

Tried the fried chicken and chili plate--honestly, it was just ok, nothing spectacular. But the restaurant itself was super chill, located on a golf course with a really nice view. Great spot to relax even if the food isn't anything fancy.

This is a dear former colleague of mine where I saved the date. When I formally received the invitation I saw the venue and asked myself "Where is that?" Oahu Veterans Center (OVC) is a conveniently located venue in the Salt Lake area which has 2 large halls to host gatherings. They are adjacent to ample parking where it was super crowded that day but the grounds were marked to facilitate overflow of cars for those who arrived later. It was my first time here at OVC where I found the venue spacious, clean and the grounds well kept. I initially went to the wrong party as I didn't know there are several halls here. While standing in line I realized it was for a high school graduation party which clearly wasn't the event I was invited to. I made my way to the other hall where I saw a large banner with my friend's name. There's a kitchen that's adjoining to the hall. Food that evening was catered by Guieb Cafe. Our meal was buffet style where the kitchen sure came in handy with food being replenished periodically throughout the event. It was warm outside that day but the venue has decent air conditioning where we sat down in comfort throughout the event during dinner, slide show and hula performances. Overall, a great first time at OVC where I'd be game for a return visit. This is definitely a venue I'd consider if I wanted to host an event.

This place would be great for family parties, birthday parties, baby showers, recreational activities, and even private functions. Today's visit was because of the MAKAHIKI festival which my sons Cornwall and Hula Halal had performed for today. Aside of the activities for the MAKAHIKI festival, the performance was awesome. Being that they did a lot on their own by themselves for the first time they did well. HOWEVER, to hold an event & to utilize these facilities, you must have MILITARY CONNECTIONS. OF COURSE, Public access is available to civilians, but with LIMITED ACCESS to the beachfront & shores ONLY. Civilians are NOT ALLOWED to use or rent the facilities. I asked the CITY & COUNTY and they said this place IS NOT on their list & as far as for the STATE, they said they have no rental information on these facilities. So... that means... it's through MILITARY OFFICIALS ONLY! To be honest, I'm SURE military will say it's because this is "PEARL HARBOR", where their military is located, they have to take precautions to whom has access to the area. WHICH FOR ME, KINDA SUCKS because this place WAS once where my kupunas (older aunts & uncles) used swim & look for oyesters for food & pearls for jewelry/decorations, WAAY before the HARBOR was built for the military and now... a grandniece of theirs, a KANAKA, has LIMITED access to the area. As a civilian... we're FORBIDDEN from using "THEIR FACILITY". Doesn't really seem fair, doesn't it?! But that's the so called RULES. let's hope in due time there is a way to allow civilians the use of this area WITHOUT military connections. Anywho, if you have a chance to rent this spot, GO FOR IT!!!! And be sure to TAKE CARE OF THE PLACE TOO! Just because military has the say over this area, doesn't mean we should destroy or ruin the property itself. It is still OUR AINA! And Regardless if your ARE KANAKA OR NOT, just treat this place as if it was YOUR OWN HOME. And if you MISTREAT it and say that's how you'd treat your own home, then I can only imagine how embarrassed your parents must feel to have raised such a sloppy individual. POOR THING, YOU... SAD... SAD... SAD... BEING. Okie dokes... artichokes! Have a good one and thanks for reading.

One feature I really enjoy is being able to track my stats and review my swing analysis videos directly in the Golfzon app on my phone -- something I can't get at a regular driving range. I also enjoy the flexibility of having private late-night sessions after a long day at work. It's a great alternative to the gym and a fun way to switch things up.
