The place is larger than it seems from the outside, with multiple rooms and aisles of toys and gifts for all ages. This includes blocks and wobblers for toddlers, dolls and figures, dress up and jewelry items, miniature cars and vehicles, dinosaur themed products, board games, card games, mad libs, stickers, arts and crafts, science activity sets (like Rainbow Unicorns STEAM fun project), sports items and bike accessories, and so much more. Everything well organized into different sections, and even each section thoughtfully organized too. Such as the jigsaw puzzles labeled by number of pieces and age appropriate, making it easy for customers to find what they need. The selection of games and puzzles was extraordinary, with so many unique options, I wanted to get something for myself! But I have self-control. I ended up just buying an origami plane kit for one of the kids. The stuff here is on the pricey side, and I wasn't trying to splurge. Service was professional and friendly at the front counter with minimal waiting necessary, even on the weekend before Christmas.

Short review since we only come here for the gashapon machines…read more I really like coming here. Get some anime gashapon, but it's hard to get some of the ones you like since they're out of stock. I really wish they would stock up more on the popular items. Things are getting a little pricey. $15 for five tokens, and most gashapon are two or three tokens. A lot of the gashapon are anime, sanrio, animals, even food. The last time we were there, they even had little Nikes! The only downside is that it gets pretty warm in there. Especially when the place is packed, it gets really hot. Hopefully they'll think about adding air conditioning or at least fans soon.

The employee with black hair and glasses came across as rude toward another customer, speaking in a condescending manner and appearing to assume the customer was a scalper. Watching this interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. When other customers tried to ask questions, the same staff member was dismissive and rolled his eyes a few times, which made the overall atmosphere feel unwelcoming. A store like this should feel fun and inviting, especially for collectors and fans who are genuinely excited to be there. That said, I want to be clear that I do like this store overall and have had positive experiences with other staff members in the past, who have always been friendly and helpful. This particular interaction stood out in an unfortunate way and left me feeling disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration and addresses the situation, because this type of behavior is not okay and takes away from what should be a positive experience.

My family likes coming to this store even with the crazy parking situation at the mall. We came in on a very busy day, and the store was packed. There were only a few staff members on the floor and they were trying their best to help everyone. We knew what we wanted to get but the line was still pretty long for purchasing. When we got to the front, the cashier was still friendly, apologized for the long wait, and made sure we got everything we needed. The even with that many people in the store, the shelves still had sets and legos on display but they were going fast. Buying legos are the legos store is a good value since you can build up points if you're a registered member and the price is the same as other stores. Eventually as we were leaving, a staff member was able to gate the customers into the store so that it's not so crowded. The store was still organized and staff was still friendly when we left. This location is great.

There's often a queue to get in due to overcrowding. But that's Valley Fair as a whole these days. That said, the customer service is top notch. I'm always greeted warmly and the employees are very knowledgeable about their products. It's clear they employ LEGO fans, not just those people looking for a job. It is also very well-staffed. Despite all the people coming in and out and the throngs of kids running around and playing with the samples, the floor remains remarkably clear of Legos. Even the Pick a Brick section is clear and tidy. It is hard to knock a LEGO store on prices as it seems LEGO corporate sets very hard lines on pricing and discounts (few and far between). But everything is clearly marked and in line with Amazon and other retailers. If you're brave enough to venture to Valley Fair, and lucky enough to score a parking spot, a visit to the LEGO store is well worth it especially if you've got kids in tow.

Predatory practices and terrible customer service avoid if you're new to Magic or any other card…read moregame. I went to CardArt in Sunnyvale hoping to start my journey into MTG. I came in with a decklist and planned to ask the staff for help finding cards, since I was brand new. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was off. I stood at the counter looking at display cards and got awkward stares and silence. No one asked if I needed help. When I finally spoke up and mentioned I had a Yu-Gi-Oh! collection to trade in toward Magic cards, things got worse. An employee handed me a giant box of bulk Magic cards and said everything I needed should be in there. While I was digging through it, he started pulling Yu-Gi-Oh! cards from my binder without explaining anything. I got distracted, and next thing I knew, he had mixed my cards into their inventory and started pricing them before even telling me what trade value I'd get. I had clearly said three of the cards were sentimental and not for trade. He ignored that completely. When I asked to see what he had taken, he said they were already mixed in. He offered me $170 in store credit... which included my three nontrade cards (market value about $210 for the 3). Luckily I spotted those and got them back, which dropped my credit to $120 market value. $50 trade value for cards worth $210...insane. Meanwhile, I overheard a customer bragging about ripping kids off in trades giving junk cards for valuable ones, while the workers of the store just laughed. At checkout, I had about 50 cards, mostly bulk with maybe one or two worth $5. The total ended up being exactly $120, odd. I ended up totaling out the cards I bought at home and it came out to max $50. I went back another time to give them a second chance thinking maybe it was just the employees that day. But no, most of the staff act the same silent, staring, unhelpful, and frequently complaining about working there. There's one guy with glasses and a mask who was decent, but that's it. It genuinely feels like they heard I was a new player and decided to take advantage. The fact that they have a loyal following tells me everything about who frequents that shop and it's not where I'd want to start my Magic experience or any hobby for that matter.
