    Disappointed and Deeply Concerned About Safety at Jensen's Marina…read moreAs locals who have been loyal guests of Jensen's Marina for years, it brings us no joy to write this review--but our recent experience was so upsetting that it must be shared. During a family stay at the marina, unauthorized individuals were somehow allowed access to the property. These individuals not only stole valuable personal belongings directly off our boat, but they also interacted with our children while on the premises. It was a terrifying experience that no family should ever have to go through, especially in what is marketed as a safe, family-friendly environment. We trusted Jensen's because of its long-standing reputation in the community, and we've recommended it to many friends and fellow boaters over the years. That trust has now been completely shattered. Even more disappointing was the way the incident was handled afterward. Despite the seriousness of the situation--including the emotional toll on our children--our claim was unfairly denied, and the resort failed to take any responsibility for what occurred. Guests should feel safe while staying at any resort. Sadly, that was not our experience here. We are now pursuing legal action and will be sharing this story with the broader boating and fishing community to help others make informed decisions about where they choose to stay. We urge ROYAL SHELL PROPERTIES to reevaluate their approach to safety, security, and customer care. Until then, we cannot recommend this marina to anyone.

    Royal Shell handled my property for 3 years and then summarily dropped us as clients when the…read moreTenants did not renew their Seasonal lease When the Tenants damaged some parts of our property we asked Royal Shell to intercede, but they would not because they also represented the Tenants (a conflict imof interest). One of the property managers literally yelled at me for not agreeing to a certain low rental rate. We asked that she be replaced, which is when they dropped us as Landlord clients. That is no way to address the situation. I would steer clear of renting though Royal Shell.

    Where to start. Extremely poor communication, shower didn't drain, couldn't shower for 2 1/2 days,…read morepool stated heated and was 46 degrees even after contacting the company. It wasn't until we contacted VRBO. Chairs around pool don't accommodate the number of units on property. Not enough bedding pillows to accommodate number of guests per house. Not enough chairs on porch to accommodate guests per unit. Only one small bathroom mirror. There should be at least 1 full mirror in a bedroom. A big company such as this should do much better and be more considerate. Rather than just a monopoly. Pretty unfortunate even the pool places state they don't even respond to them.

Verbally was told by Melody on 11/22/22 that the refund check would be mailed and I'd receive it early the following week. No refund received! Received an email from Nadia Potts on 12/5/22 stating refunds will be issued that week and the next week... I sent a follow up email on 12/13/22 and called and left a voicemail on 12/19/22... still NO REFUND and NO RESPONSE!! Go elsewhere... find a different property company to book with. This is such a sad situation. While we have expressed our concerns regarding the devastation Ft. Myers experienced due to the hurricane, we have been more than patient. This has been an absolutely terrible experience and would not recommend them to anyone!!! Shame on them for thinking this is acceptable to treat paying customers this way. Send us our refund please and thank you!!

    Worst property management company around! Paid $4k for a weekly rental on Fort Myers Beach…read more Advertised as 5 bedrooms, beach towels, beach chairs, sleeps 16. This place is so run down. Zero beach towels, two broken beach chairs, barely enough bath towels and room #5 has no AC. Three days later, multiple calls with zero resolution. We arrived on Saturday and the first thing we noticed was, in the trash can area, all 5-6 trashcans were full but whatever (maybe Monday was trash day)?? The next thing we noticed as odd (we have stayed in many condo rentals over the years) that there was no "Check-In list" (you know, the list to make sure everything that was to be there was there). Also in the paperwork was a note to "MAKE SURE THE TRASH WAS TAKEN OUT WEDNESDAY NIGHT". We asked about this 2 years ago and were informed to take the kitchen trash, etc., down to the trashcan area for pickup. OK not a problem BUT this year it apparently means TAKE ALL THE TRASH CANS TO THE STREET! NO NOT JUST YOUR TRASH BUT THE PEOPLE WHO LEFT ALL THE CANS FULL LAST WEEK! OH AND DON'T FORGET TO BRING THE CANS BACK UP THE NEXT DAY!!!! OK, I thought we were on VACATION and don't forget this place cost us $500+ per night. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Problem number 2 - don't forget to inspect EVERYTHING on the property! 3 WEEKS after returning home we are informed we were being charged $111 for a broken plastic chair. $55 for the chair and $55 for ADMINISTRATION FEES. We are still not sure what chair they are referring to but my guess is there were 2 lounge chairs out just feet from the beach in the back yard. There is a fence around the pool and house but the back yard is wide open. We, however, did not even use these chairs so how could we have known if one was broken or not??? We did leave a list of lightbulbs burnt out, squeeky washer dryer, drains that barely drain....My guess those things were left as is. To say the least, we will not be returning to this beautiful property. I called and left a message that was never returned. I emailed our position on the "Broken chair" and were only told EVERY property is inspected between each tenant EVERY time. Keep in mind from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (check out, check in times) this is done. HOWEVER they told us they have too many rentals to take the trash down to the street once a week??????? Pathetic situation because the property is definitely "blissful" but it's the principle of the thing - to be accused of breaking something when we didn't and it could have been someone who didn't even rent the place leaves a bad taste in our mouth. We never received proof that the chair "we didn't break" was even purchased and replaced. So beware - if you stay in this property, you better do your own inventory and inspection before even setting up shop. But then again, there is no inventory/inspection list to check against so it's their call to make after you've checked out as to what may have been damaged or missing and you're at their mercy even if you didn't to it.
