Wow. How absolutely disinterested in your clients' concerns do you have to be to reply to a review…read morefrom 12 years ago? You've had 12 years to contact me, your past customer... you, the owner, were the person who let the salon go downhill... you, the owner, were the one who left color all over my face repeatedly, and then left me with an untrained replacement right before a big filmed event where I was in front of over 100,000 people... you, the owner, ignored my several attempts at a resolution... you, the owner, made me wait well over my appointment times over and over again.
It seems you still have no accountability for your actions, just empty public promises. Please don't ask me to contact you to "look into what happened" a decade ago. Replying to a 2014 review in 2026 isn't customer service; it's a transparent PR stunt to clean up your Yelp page. The only "best next step" was the one I took 12 years ago when I permanently took my business elsewhere. To anyone reading this: don't let this performative response fool you.
The EXACT review comment the owner posted on Jul 15, 2026: "Waiting 30-45 minutes past your appointment time and leaving with color on your skin isn't acceptable, and I'm sorry you dealt with that. The ongoing color transfer onto clothes and linens after your visit is especially concerning. We also should've followed up when you called. Please contact us directly so we can look into what happened with your appointments and figure out the best next step."
I received a private message from Luisa shortly after I saved this update. Full of more non-sense and pretend apologies:

"Thank you for sharing your perspective. I completely understand why receiving a response so many years later felt frustrating.
To provide some context, we did not have access to our Yelp business account for many years because it remained under a previous owner's account. We only recently regained access, which is why we have been responding to older reviews that we were previously unable to address. It was never our intention for the response to come across as a publicity effort.
I'm genuinely sorry that your experience left you feeling unheard. Regardless of how much time has passed, it's disappointing to know that you left with that impression of our salon. While we cannot change what happened years ago, we do believe every guest deserves to be acknowledged, even if that acknowledgment comes much later than we would have liked.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we wish you nothing but the best."
My reply:
"You had my phone number and my contact information back in 2014. When I brought these exact issues up to you directly, you essentially told me to get lost, and you still owe me a refund, not to mention the damage that reaches far beyond just a simple money back resolution. You can try to hide behind the excuse of not having access to a Yelp account, but Yelp was never the appropriate place to make this right. You had every opportunity to fix this offline a decade ago and explicitly chose not to.
I have been happy and prosperous since leaving your salon, and frankly, I had largely forgotten about the nonsense caused by your lack of genuine concern. But this exchange reminds me exactly of who you are, and make no mistake, I see you clearly. This fake, polished customer service tone does not match the woman you actually were to me back then, and I suspect is AI-generated. Either way, you still have absolutely zero accountability for your actions."
Her reply:
"Sending blessing to your soul and much happiness. Take care Sam. Sorry we have ruined your day by answering the 12 year review."
My response:
My day was not at all affected by you, but I do hold nonsense accountable for what it is. I left this review to let people know who you are deep at the core, and I was not about to let you pretend you are anything different. Thanks for showing your true side once again.
