They said that they could send a technician out within four hours. One hour later, the technician was there. He quickly identified the problem and explained the options for repair. It was a very warm day (at least 100 degrees) and I wanted the fastest option because going without air conditioning in the Antelope Valley is not pleasant. I decided to have the aging system replaced entirely, and the team at Pennies got right to work. My HVAC unit was completely replaced by the end of the day. Everyone was professional and courteous. The lead technician on the installation was great at communication. The installation of this unit was much better than when we had the old unit installed ten years ago. The workmen were careful with my carpets, cleaned everything up when they were done, and did a great job installing the unit. Great service! I definitely recommend Pennies Air Conditioning, Heating, Solar and Construction and would call them again!

When Matt showed up, he brought his own rug to wipe his feet on, and boot protectors! We were looking to add central air to our house where it was previously non-existent, and he was so thorough in explaining what the process would be, what was needed, what upgrades needed to be made to our existing infrastructure, everything. We weren't planning on saying yes to the quote today, but Matt made us feel so sure that it was what we needed and that they would help and support us, we said yes! They're even going to do the install next week (much quicker than we imagined). Their financing options were great and really helped seal the deal. Very disappointed with my experience. I called because my shower handle broke and I needed a…read morerepair. I was charged $125 for the technician to come out, and no repair was completed. I was then quoted $765 to repair the shower. The technician himself told me the company is expensive but said they provide a warranty. I understand paying for quality work and a warranty, but $765 for this repair felt completely unreasonable to me. What made the experience worse is that another licensed plumbing company reviewed the same problem and quoted me $285, including the shower cartridge, removing the broken/stuck part, and fixing the handle. That is a difference of $480 for essentially the same repair. I also received an estimate totaling $688 for other plumbing work, including a shower/faucet cartridge and a toilet fill valve/supply line. After already paying $125 just for the service visit and having nothing repaired, I felt the overall pricing was excessive and unfair. I understand that companies can set their own prices, but customers should know what they may be getting into. In my experience, I paid $125, nothing was fixed, and I was left with a very high repair quote. I recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to the work.

Thermostat said 70 but it definitely wasn't 70 in the house. It was around 46 out, so we knew something wasn't kicking on. I messaged them here on Yelp and Kyle responded pretty quickly. He said he could stop by later that afternoon and actually showed up when he said he would which I wasn't expecting! He checked the furnace and told me the flame sensor was dirty and caused it to shut off after a few minutes. No idea what that means but he pulled it out, cleaned it, put everything back together, and waited to make sure it stayed running. Total time was maybe 45 minutes and with same day service?!
