Great resort within minutes of Water Country and Busch Garden's. We had 2, 2 bedroom units on the second floor. They were identical to each other and we could leave the doors open so that we could still feel like we were all together. There was 1 king with on suite bath with shower and jetted tub, 1 queen with a bathroom (no tub, just a shower stall) that had access to it from the bedroom as well as from the hall, a large dining area, galley kitchen, a good sized sitting room (could be used as another bedroom) off of the living room with a pullout sofa, chair, and tv. The living room had a pullout sofa too. They weren't the worst pullout sofas as far as comfort goes. There is a very small washer/dryer in the unit. It would have been nice to have a bigger/normal size washer/dryer unit. There was carpet in all areas except for the kitchen, hallway, and bathrooms. Not my favorite. It would have been nice to have a vacuum in the unit as well as a mop. The broom and dustpan provided were useful. The kitchen was not the most stocked I've seen. It could have had more pans, serving bowls, a Keurig, there weren't any storage containers to store food in the frig. We stayed in The Townes and the pool area was nice. A snack bar and a place to order drinks would have been a plus. They did have this in the past but it was shut down due to Covid. There is a trash bin out front which was convenient. No elevator but it wasn't bad. Overall a great place to stay.

We traded in our week from a Marriott with Interval International and exchanged for a week at Kings Creek. While the property is fairly nice, it was definitely a downgrade from Marriott properties we have stayed at previously. The pool area had 3 out of 8 lights burned out the entire week, and when we brought it to the attention of the staff, nothing happened. The unit we stayed in wasn't cleaned very well, and the outside area looked like it had not been cleaned in a couple of years. We found a large hair ball floating in the hot tub, threw it to the side so it wasn't floating in the hot tub, and it was still sitting there the remaining three days of our stay indicating that they really don't clean the swimming pool and hot tub common areas very often. Additionally, BEWARE of their timeshare sales presentation scams. They emailed us before our stay and invited us to a "free breakfast" to hear their "information session." There was no free breakfast. It was some coffee and some store-bought breakfast biscuits and was mostly an afterthought. The sales manager announced to all present that "If you haven't eaten breakfast yet, we have some little refreshments available." They also told us that if we went and attended, we would receive a "free gift" of a $100 Visa gift card and a "free week" in another resort. When we received the email certificate for the "free week," the fine print showed that there was a $150 "Save the Date" deposit and that the daily fees started at $15 per guest per day which works out to a minimum of $420 additional for the "free week." Finally, more fine print showed that whatever resort we use this certificate for will probably have additional "resort fees" that will be disclosed and collected at check-in. We asked the representative a couple of times if it was truly free, or if there were a lot of charges associated with using it. She insisted that it would be completely free other than a few dollars a day for taxes. This seems like very deceptive marketing. Paying a minimum of a $150 deposit plus $420 in fees plus mystery resort fees at check-in seems like anything but free. We attempted to show up for their sales presentation. When we arrived, they did not realize we were coming and asked us to fill out an information form. We filled it out and turned it in, and waited, but then nothing happened. Then after this place wasted 20 minutes of our time, we left. Two weeks later, after we checked out, they put a fraudulent $122 charge on our credit card. We are disputing it now and will probably look to file a complaint with the State of Virginia for their deceptive practices and fraudulent charges. Also, the mini-golf course they touted when we checked in is a tiny 9-hole mini-golf course that is installed around the playground. It's fun for a few minutes of free fun but is a very loose interpretation of a mini-golf course. I guess I technically have to check "Yes" to the question of whether there is a mini-golf course there... Our advice: Manage your expectations if you stay at this resort. It's decent but dated. The TVs in the rooms are small and probably about 10 years old. The resort is close to Water Country and Busch Gardens which is good. The cleaning quality of the rooms and stairwells is poor. You must bring your own towels to use the pool because they don't offer towel service at the pool and only provide the minimum number of towels possible in the room. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms for four quests. There were only four small towels provided for the entire week's stay and NO room cleaning service for the 7-day duration. Finally, AVOID THE SALES PRESENTATION AT ALL COST and DO NOT fall for the "free gifts." They're not free, and they will seek any excuse to charge your card claiming you didn't attend the entire presentation even if you tried to attend and they demonstrated gross incompetence.

    The Townes

My husband and I are timeshare owners who, up until the point of our stay, always rented out our unit at The Townes due to extremely busy schedules. We finally chose to use it for 2 weeks in December. It was WONDERFUL! We stayed in a 2 BR 2 BA townhome. It was very clean, quiet and beautiful. We did not lack for anything. I love how close everything is to the resort yet it has a private feel because of the wooded area along the main road into the resort. We enjoyed using the Fitness center, the Aquatics center, sauna, hot tub and the Clubhouse. I am looking forward to our vacation this summer so we can putt-putt, play tennis or take post- dinner walks after a day in the sun by the pool! Oh and a tip: if you are going to buy into a timeshare, wait it out to the very end and buy a foreclosed unit. Much better pricing!!

This is a great place to stay, we stayed at the Estates section which are houses basically. The value was good. Furnishings were pretty basic inside, but quiet as you have no one above you. Exercise room is very nice. A ton of things nearby. Enjoyed our stay and nightly walks.

Nice patio to have your morning coffee

Our toilet did break the first night and they were able to send someone up the next day in the morning. We waited to leave for the day for them to come which was a little inconvenient but appreciated them coming to help us so it didn't put too much of a damper in our day. The technician also changed the battery in our door lock which was nice of him as he noticed it was low. Our kids also enjoyed the 24 hour game room there and I also liked that they had a small gym. They have a small kid friendly water park with a slide which could use some updating. They offer free towels there and also had a small playground behind it. They also offer free laundry service but there is a washer and dryer in the condo as well which was nice. The amount of space to put all your clothes is also insane- so much storage!! Our family had a great time here and would recommend to other families. I will say that the walls are a little thin as another reviewer did mention and they did try to sell us time share but we just went about our day. I also liked how they offered luggage carts around the property and had plenty of parking.

We arrived within the hour of the four o'clock check-in. I appreciate the pleasant friendliness of the staff and overall positive vibes given. Everyone was friendly and check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was located in the 300 building and not on the ground floor as I requested. My first impression of the room was very positive. It was very clean, modern, and had all the amenities that we would need. The kitchen had pots, pans, plates, utensils, knives, and all the basics. The refrigerator was clean and empty. Bonus for leaving sample sizes of dish soap, dishwashing machine pods, and laundry detergent. The living room had a pull-out sofa. My kids said it wasn't the most comfortable but they are kids and they will survive. The master bedroom had a king-size bed. I found it comfortable but my husband said it wasn't. The bathroom was large, with a double sink. I was happy with the shower but my only complaint about the room was lack of a door on the shower. It was like half of a sliding door or something. Kinda weird, in my opinion. The location is very close to Bush Gardens and Water Country USA, so we were in for a treat with the weekend fireworks display. I was a little hesitant about this place initially as there weren't many reviews available. However, I would definitely book this spot with confidence. When we return to Williamsburg, I would definitely stay here again.

I told the person on the phone that it was okay with 1bdr, but was told they would still request a 2bdr. I agreed to take the one bedroom but to please request a 2 bedroom. And they told me that my room was booked for June 18th I made plans rented a vehicle and brought my family to Las Vegas only to find out that they had never sent over the reservation request and I had no room to stay in. I called and I called trying to contact and get help. They referred me to another resort and insured me I had a room there. There was not another room there, and they wanted me to use my points. So I ended up booking a completely separate reservation with my points under a different timeshare Im an owner at. I had to use most of my points, which cost about a $1000 not to mention whatever other fees and stuff. I am still waiting to get some kind of compensation back from this company, they never corrected the situation they attempted to offer me another stay at a different date and I have not been compensated for the $1000, I had to spend on another room or for the inconvenience of driving all the way to Las Vegas and not having a room at all. I also never received the complimentary room I was offered yet. Luckily I was able to book with my time share otherwise this wouldhave becomea HUGE DISASTER!! Another family with no options would have been completely on their own, with nowhere to stay in Las Vegas, 10 hours from their home. This is disgustingly corrupt and unacceptable to put people in predicaments like this.

We appreciated our stay but have experienced better at other Hilton facilities. This does not mean that the staff are not attentive, just a different experience for us this round. Swimming area was nice though a bit warm. Water temp was nice. Hot tub was not working very well, but they were aware and were trying to address it. They said "we thought you already checked out." I had not and felt extremely intruded upon. I gave it a second try last weekend - never again. This time there wasn't much the staff could have done. The hallways and main corridors were super warm. The room was renovated and was clean - mostly, however, the walls were super thin. One one side a family was blasting the movie Hamilton halfway into the night while on the other side a toddler was screaming for hours. The child did not sleep until after 1AM... so neither did we. I don't blame the other guests, however, structurally I would not stay here. The doors were also thin so I knew who was running down the hall and talking at all hours. I was lucky - our room, 403, was near the end of the hallway. I can't imagine what it would have been like in front of the elevator. At breakfast the person helping us kept standing there staring at us. Each time I went back up to the buffet, I felt their eyes on me. It was quite uncomfortable. Finally, worst of all, I did not feel safe in my room. The hitch that holds the door closed was loose and I didn't trust it to keep us safe. I reported all of these concerns at checkout. I was not even thanked for letting them know, muchless had anyone apologize for the experience. This one is a nope for me.

Nothing worse than losing your room key card or having it de-magnetized and it doesn't work. Once I got to our rooms, I noticed that everything appeared to be clean. The toilet had some calcium buildup in mold on it though, so I had to clean them myself. The units came furnished with plenty of plates and utensils. The only issue I noticed was that the cabinets appear to be older and not well maintained. There was a lot of Boeing And peeling as well as water stains. The resort had a lot of amenities on site. They had an adult only pool a regular outdoor pool and a indoor pool. The grounds also had a tennis court basketball court volleyball net and miniature golf. I did take a few strolls around the property and everything was beautiful and well-maintained. Overall, a good value for staying for the week. I was offered to sit through a presentation for some discounted Busch garden tickets, but I had already purchased my tickets prior to arriving so I did not attend the presentation. I see that many people were dissatisfied with the high-pressure sales. I'm glad I did not attend. The brief presentation probably would have ended up being several hours. They did Cole offering the presentation every morning, but I still declined. The location was very conveniently located near Busch Gardens with plenty of amenities in the area as well.
