Update 6/5/25 - After getting an attorney involved, we were able to get our original diamond back…read moretoday from Royal jewelers. They blame the repair center They use for the "mistake". I took the diamond to get it looked at and tested next door at Zales and it is our original diamond. Zales is now doing our repair the correct way, by replacing the entire crown that holds the diamond, for $125 less than what royal jewelers charged us for the repair that only lasted 14 hours. Zales also took multiple photos of the diamond and gave a full description of the ring and diamond when they took it from us. They emailed us a copy of everything and they take additional photos when we pick the ring up to compare to the intake photos. This is how business should be done in the jewelry business! THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM! THEY STOLE A $2000 DIAMOND FROM US! We took my wife's diamond ring into Royal Jewelers to have it repaired. The diamond needed to be reset into the setting. Within 14 hours of getting the ring back, the diamond had fallen out again. Luckily, we were able to find the diamond, but when I took it to two different reputable jewelry stores they both told me that the diamond I had gotten back was a CZ, not a diamond. The store gave me a refund for the repair cost, but they are not owning up to stealing my diamond, they just figured we would never find out except they did such a bad job on the repair we had to get it looked at by other jeweler shops. I've already filed a police report and we are in the process of working with an attorney. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

I said no again and asked him how much my chain was worth. He said there was no way to know that because it came free with the necklace. How about weigh the chain and multiply times the price of gold.?!! They will take advantage of you and not think twice about it

AVOID THIS BUSINESS, ESPECIALLY FOR ANY SERVICE. As a first time customer with this establishment,…read moremy experience was unfortunately terrible and I'm writing this as a courteous warning to others who may look to do business here. Upon searching for local establishments and seeing positive reviews and praise for customer service, I wanted to give them a chance. I brought in two watches that needed simple battery replacements, one for my wife and one of my own. Upon bringing the watches in, the lady who assisted me seemed friendly enough. I was informed that they no longer do battery replacements in house and they would need to be sent out. Bit of a surprise but ok, I wasn't in a terrible hurry to get them back and was told it'd be a couple of weeks. I received a call within the allotted time telling me they had come in and were ready to be picked up. I go to the store the very next day to retrieve them, being helped by the same person who took them in originally. My wife's watch was running perfectly fine. Mine however I noticed when handed to me was not running at all. I pointed this out and the lady called over another associate who she claimed was the one responsible for quality checks when items came back in from service. This second lady informed me that it had been running the day before when it was checked in but "sometimes they get sent back with a dead battery" and they would need to send it back. She then took it to their back room (with window facing the showroom so everything is visible where she attempted to open the watch but soon returned saying it was more complicated of a movement than she felt comfortable working with so they would send it back to the repair vendor. Red flags, but I want it fixed. Same drill as previous, they will let me know when it's ready within another couple of weeks. About a week and a half later I get a call that my watch has come back in, but am told it is not working and came back with a note that it needs to be sent in to the manufacturer. After naturally asking some questions so I fully understand what exactly was the issue, the girl on the phone became very easily flustered and VERY defensive. Not the customer service I was expecting. I wasn't being disrespectful in any form, just asking questions trying to understand what situation I was now in with a broken watch that was working perfectly fine when I took it in. I go in a few days later to pick up my watch and ask to speak with a manager so I can voice my concerns and displeasure. I relayed the timeline of events to the manager I spoke with, who retrieved and showed me my watch as it was returned with nothing but a sticky note that said to send it in to the manufacturer. No detail or explanation as to what was now wrong. Upon inspection, the crown no longer worked when trying to set the time and no movement of the hands. I was apologized to by the manager and was told that they would look further into it with their repair vendor to try and find out more info so I'd at least have something to go to the manufacturer with. I was also informed at this time that I would almost certainly be contacted by the owner, Mr. Borrego to discuss the issues with me. It has now been a full two weeks with no contact, so out of sight out of mind. I will never personally step foot into this establishment again and will tell everyone I know to avoid dealing with them as well. It's a shame because it is a nice store, but this type of service is unacceptable. I would warn anyone reading this to never entrust these people with any of your personal or sentimental valuables. Zero accountability and broken trust with the first encounter for a potential long term customer...I'll take my business elsewhere.

First,…read moreupon entering the store, the staff promptly greeted me and listened to my concerns about the broken links. I spoke with Ryan, who was very attentive and assured me not to worry, the bracelets would be fixed. I was glad to learn they have an in-house goldsmith who handles all repairs, so this brought me peace of mind. Upon inspection, Raymond told me I should hear back within a day or so with an estimate. Lo and behold, I did receive a call back quickly and approved the repair cost. The repairs were completed within the estimated time frame. However, during the repair process, one of the bracelets (18k gold two-tone) lost a diamond on the top facing side of the link. Not to worry, said Ryan, they would fix it at no charge. I got a call the next day that it was fixed. I walked over, only to discover that now the bracelet was missing another diamond on the inner-facing side of the link. This particular bracelet holds a sentimental value to me due to its design and because it commemorates a milestone memory. Diamonds on the top links and double-sided with an inscription underneath. Each link contains the same inscription underneath with one diamond stone per link. Anyhow, once I pointed out the issue, Ryan assured me they would fix it, at no additional cost. I was expecting a call back perhaps 2-4 days later but to my surprise, I got a call the next day that my bracelet was ready. Upon careful and close inspection, the bracelet was repaired perfectly. The other bracelet (18k white gold) had no issue and was repaired perfectly the first time around. Overall, I was very pleased with Ryan and the staff's exceptional service. Kruger's will now be my go-to place for all repairs, and I will definitely come back as I have my eye on a lovely diamond bracelet.
