It looked appealing when they handed it to me, and the owner (I'm assuming) was really friendly while taking my order, which I appreciated. Got home and the flavors were honestly really good - everything tasted great and well seasoned with Tteokbokki. The only downside was the steak itself. It was pretty tough, even though it still had good flavor. That part was a bit disappointing. I'll order something else next time and give an update. Surprising little gem in the food hall. At the end near the construction. This is a Korean- Mongolian BBQ place. Hubby got the Make your own Mongolian noodles. I got the tteobokki. So good. Like from the streets of Seoul. I got mild cuz I'm weak. But topped with cheese!!!! Gooey warm and so comforting. After doing some shopping at Victoria Gardens, I wanted to grab something quick. Kings Mongolian BBQ is located in their indoor food court. Based on my previous experiences with Mongolian BBQ, I'm used to creating my own plate where they have all the ingredients out so you can build it yourself and have the chef cook it. This was a little different. You could still kind of build your own plate but you picked the items from a menu instead of grabbing it yourself. They were pretty quick and I thought the portion was decent. It wasn't really flavorful and I was expecting a little kick but it was kind of bland. I think because at other Mongolian places there are a ton of sauces and spices you can add yourself, and this spot unfortunately didn't have it. 2.5 - 3 stars. This eatery is still around in the Victoria Gardens Mall food court, but other places have come and gone. I finally got food here again after many years and it was OK. But, I might as well spend a few bucks more and get noodles from the actual Asian restaurant that I love a lot more. I had enough for leftovers, but didn't want to eat anymore the next day. This spot was a perfect place to eat while shopping around. Located in the food court, there's plenty of seating available. The meats and noodles were cooked perfectly, and the combo came with a mix of fresh veggies and flavorful oils that made the meal super savory. The location has moved from where Philz Coffee used to be to near the west entrance of the food court, but I'm thrilled my old high school favorite is still around! While it's no longer self-serve, the manager was super helpful and generous with the portions. The food tastes just as good as I remember, with bigger servings than expected. Very humble and kind employees. The employees do harbor their native language as I have noticed the accent. Do be patient with them as I believe it's inappropriate to give them a harsh time. At first I thought they did not have pineapple chunks but little did I know you can get them near the end of choosing your order. I got two orders of the Mongolian BBQ #1 which includes meat, vegetables, and noodles. First you place your order and pay then begin the process by choosing meats, vegetables, then sauce after she finishes placing noodles to the side. If there are an influx of customers a second employee will come out from the back so please dont be worried to place an order here and feel like a burden to the worker . This place is awesome. First of all, their food quality is soooo good. Not many places cook Korean food that meets Korean people' taste buds. This place is an exception and their pork bulgogi and tofu soup are phenomenal. Not just Korean food, but their Mongolian bbq noodles are also amazing. I come here very often and I always come with my full appetite knowing that their food will satisfy my cravings. And if you are a regular, the owner even has your order written down on a piece of paper to make that mongolian bbq just the right way to the tee. I had lunch at the food court(?) in Victoria gardens today with a couple of coworkers. They were there for the Thai place, but I decided to give the Mongolian BBQ place a try. Let's start by saying the younger lady that helped me at the register was friendly. So for about $18.52 you get a entree order that includes noodles and a large fountain drink (the drink was $3.20 if I remember correctly). Total price wasn't too bad, until you notice the size of the bowl you are handed to load up the uncooked items. The meats didn't appear too fresh and there are signs informing you not to push down on the curled pieces of meat into your bowl. I didn't mind that too much since I didn't want to get that full and go back to the office, but you don't get much value for what you pay. After I finished adding on the items I wanted, the cashier assisted with my choice of sauces and I waited about 15minutes for the cooks (I believe the mom and dad who owns this location) to finish cooking my order on the flat hot stone. I joined my coworkers and ate my meal. I'm not sure what it was, but this was one of the saltiest Mongolian BBQ dishes I've ever been served. As expected, the meats were not fresh, and I felt disappointed. I'll give this place 2 stars since the cashier was friendly and helpful. read more

My daughter wanted just noodles and a couple veggies but they charged us the full $17 instead of the $7 noodle fee. That would have been fine if the food was good. This place is very understaffed, with just an elderly husband and wife team working. I definitely gave them slack for that, however as I quickly found out the food suffered. Your food is placed on the wok and left there for so long without stirring/moving that they need to pour a lot of water on it to avoid it sticking/burning. This washes away any flavor that was added to it. I had them put extra of all the sauces, including the "spicy" one before it was cooked. By the time I got my food it was absolutely flavorless and overcooked. $50 wasted for 3 meals. If I had cell reception I would have avoided this place after seeing the reviews, and I think that alone is this place's saving grace. So this used to be Great Khans Mongolian BBQ. Very little change but I noticed that Pineapple chunks were gone. I think the prices had gone up a little bit. They really wanted you to get the deluxe which included Rice and Noodles. Basic is Noodles. They should probably have a Basic Rice option. Meat choices were varied and identical. Wait times identical. If you like this food and find yourself in the IE at least it is here. Am sure it is a family owned business. COVID certainly ended its predecessor. Eat here and support it. Ouch, this place really did not taste like the other Mongolian Food Joints at the mall. They had similar items on display, however when it came for the sauces my dish came out super salty and unsavory. Also, it appears they are stingy with the noodles unlike other places. There's is not much else to say but the food here other than that it is really terrible, gross and unsavory. Unfortunately I couldn't even finish my meal even though I was super hungry. It is no wonder that the average review is 2 star: for me I had to give it lower than that. The only plus side about this place is the customer service from start to finish. However, you can have the best salesman, but if the product is bad nothing else matters. I hope they can figure out a way to clean things up read more

I love this place. But if you pick more veggies and/or meat, you get less noodles. That's what the owner's wife did to my serving. If you pick less veggies and or meats you get more noodles. She did this for my daughter's plate. But I do love the food. It's great and most of all, fresh. They accept debit, cash. Drinks small, Med and large. Located at Victoria Gardens in food court.
