Wife and I came here first time. Clean, spacious, food is fresh, wide variety of ingredients, and lots of choices for sauces! Chef techniques are good, comes with free rice, Hygienic as well, what more can you ask for? Oh.. also THEY OFFER LAMB!!!!! (As of May 2026 anyways) , that's GOAT

    Veggies and sauces.

LUINI - you are a great chef with a big heart. NATHAN - thank you for being an awesome host/manager/cashier and welcoming me to your wonderful restaurant for the first time. This is a very simple and basic operation with a very tasty finished product. I went in, picked up a fresh and clean bowl, loaded it up with shrimp, ( other meats available) tofu, garlic, scallions, cilantro, broccoli and pints of teriyaki sauce, and loads of fresh garlic & curry sauce. There is a lot of variety in the meats, veggies and sauces, toppings and spices. Then place the bowl and watch the happy and eclectic Luini do his thing as he happily prepares the masterpiece and pours it into a to go container. Nathan grabs it, weighs it( $9.95/lb throws in some free steamed rice and soy & hot sauces and Voila- behold and enjoy this wonderful, tasty and invigorating combo. Mine was approx $20 ( video) and I barely got through half. Loved it. Drinks are extra. Once again this is not a fancy restaurant. No serving staff, no host or hostess , no reservations- just pick your ingredients, then pick them up when done, pay and eat after seating yourself. Drop off the bowls when done by the main door. I loved it! Definitely will be back.

I came here on a Sunday around 5 PM and it was pretty empty. You can smell the food outside when you walk in. There is a simple single file line where you gather your ingredients. There can be a traffic jam if the people in front are slow. That wasn't the case this time around since it only took me two minutes to get my food onto the grill. There are three people at the grill and they are a well oiled (pun intended) machine. It only took me 5 minutes since I stepped into line to have my food fully cooked. The building is spacious and there are plenty of tables to eat at. The restaurant is also very take-out friendly. It's fun seeing how much everything shrinks. The food is pretty solid and I appreciate seeing the staff going around to cleaning and restocking frequently. At least in my experience, this is a great place to squeeze in a quick meal before/after going to the Ontario airport.

My favorite stir fry. You make your own plate and want you want on it. Been going there for years. It won't be disappointed. Always go back for more

It's been about 7 years since I've been here. We were around the area after moving and wanted to come again. Big mistake. They charge by the lb now. And they weigh right before paying. Which they add liquid while cooking which makes it heavier at checkout. Toppings weight differently corn is much heavier than spinach. This type of charging method isn't fast in my opinion. Two plates for $60 is ridiculous. Go eat a nice steak dinner for that price. Or order online. Seems to be cheaper price online. Also if you e At in they give you to go containers. Definitely not what it use to be. Will not be coming back. I feel robbed.

Food was great and enough for 2 people depending on how much you add to your bowl. We still had leftovers and staff were very friendly. First time to a Mongolian location. Seemed like it was closed because of how empty it was and the chairs were stacked up on the tables. Quiet, family friendly environment. Will be stopping by again if I'm in the area!

Loved the variety of meats, vegetables, and sauces available. Everything was fresh and neatly prepped. The chef took his time cooking, and it showed the food was flavorful, and the meat was perfectly tender. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Food: Soooo good! You get to pick exactly what YOU want and put how much YOU want! It's so amazing! And it comes with some rice if you want too! Service: Perfect! Everyone was so nice, they cook your food right in front of you. And you pay by the pound! Inside: There are a lot of seating spaces inside, and they have a fountain drink machine! Outside: They have a very spacious outdoor seating area for all the businesses around. It's on a major street, so it can get pretty loud. But it is a nice area too!

Love this place. I usually get 2 bowls love how you add what you want as much as you want. Prices are okay you pay for quality to he honestly everything is extremely fresh

    Overpriced food & drink.

Restaurant has lost its touch--$4 fountain drinks, no egg rolls or pocket bread, and badly prepared rice. Fresh bar was nice, but surprise sauces when cooking the food and high prices make it hard to recommend.

Place is in Rancho Cucamonga, close to Ontario Mills Factory Outlet. Place is nice and roomy, simply decorated. You fill a bowl with shaved meat of your choice (pork, chicken, beef, lamb, and shrimp), then you add veggies, noodles, then finally add sauce.... I just chose lamb, with green onions, cilantro, some onions. My sauce consisted of soy sauce and garlic water. It was cooked Mongolian-style which came out good. Wish they had chopped raw garlic. It would have made it much better. It came with rice in a small Chinese carry out box. They charge by the pound, around $ 8.50/lb. It is very reasonable. Wish we had this in Las Vegas. I would love to come back and try it again... If in the neighborhood, give it a try...

    My SINGLE BOWL. Crazy lol.

Ask the Community - Big Wok Mongolian Grill

Will you be bringing back AYCE back? think you guys are losing a lot of customers by not offering this option.

Jalaya ... I'm sure they will if you ask them & I know each place is different, one might say yes & the other might say no.. depends on where you live & the management.

Is this choose your own or is this place automated like the griddle?

Big Wok Mongolian Grill in Rancho Cucamonga is choosing by customer own. And it will be charge per pound. Thanks!

Will you ever bring the bread pockets back?

Hi Jessica, I am sorry that we are no longer serving bread pocket anymore, thank you

Does this place sell halal/zabiha meat? Is all of the meat halal?

You would need to call and find out? I don't recall seeing that meat.

Is there an option to have no noodles in the dishes? So to have a dish just full of meat and vegetables? Trying to be on the slightly more healthier side of things.

Hi Robbie, yes you could choose No Vegetables and no proteins as well. Thanks indeed.

Can you still dine in ayce?

Sorry, we no longer serving All You Can Eat. Thank you.

    What are prices for Saturday?

Any gluten free options or can I bring gluten free soy sauce that the chef can use?

Sorry that we do not have gluten free option. However, you could bring over and provide the gluten free soy sauce to the chefs for cooking. You could also request the grill to be clean before cooking. Hope to see you soon.

This place is HUGE so I've never once had to wait for seating. What I love about this local, family run Mongolian spot is that it's all you can eat, so you don't have to stuff your 1 bowl like at the mall Mongolian spots. You can get 2 bowls if you want, one for noodles and veggies and the other for the meats. Best of all, when you are done, you can get more! The noodles are amazing, but what's equally as good is their side dish bar, which has pocket bread, egg drop soup, rice, spring rolls, and the BEST meatballs in gravy I've had in a while. The meat balls are so soft and flavorful. Lastly, the BEST fountain soda I've ever had is here. I usually drink 3-4 full cups before I leave. I come so often the main guy up front knows me, and always says "see you next week" when we leave.

The weekday lunch price of $18.99 feels reasonable, but at $23.99, you have plenty of other buffet options with a much wider selection -- places like Paradise, Empire, or Hibachi, which also include a Mongolian grill station. And honestly, if I'm only craving Mongolian grill, I'd rather drive to Pasadena and eat at Golden Palace for just $15.99. A quick tip to really make your money worth it: grab two bowls -- one for meat and one for noodles and veggies. Load up on as much meat as you can because it shrinks significantly after cooking. Take as little noodles as possible since they'll fill you up fast. Most people can only finish one or two bows, so don't waste your money by piling on too many noodles. Many previous reviews mentioned that this place used to automatically add a 6% gratuity fee even for solo diners. It seems they've stopped doing that, but they still add gratuity for larger groups.

You can fill up on however much meat, veggies and noodles. There's also a sauce bar to sauce up your Mongolian bowl. The choice of meat they have is decent with beef, chicken, and pork. Veggies are cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts etc. Your sauce can be as savory or spicy as you want. There's basic diced garlic as well for no spice but with some flavoring. You can pack your bowl as much and as high as you want. It just takes longer to cook. You all line up with your bowl and the cook dumps it on this really hot large round grill. You can build and cook as many bowls as you want. Just be sure to be able to eat it to not let it all go to waste. At the table they also give you a plate of egg roll appetizers, soup, and white rice. The appetizers are good and crunchy. Too bad I'm loading up on beef and noodles. Don't want to be sweating while you're eating. Coming from highland/redlands, I am happy that there is a ayce kbbq spot in close proximity. Starting with cons: the parking is absolutely terrible. Parking spots are cramped and there's simple not enough spaces, especially during peak times. Pros: now as a long time ayce bbq lover, I understand that red castle quality is not top tier and I don't expect it to be when I go. I view red castle as an affordable joint to get my brisket and beef belly fix, which are the only two items that I basically get. It's odd reading about others experience with service, because every time I go, the service is always fast. I don't need to ask for the grill change because they are fully staffed and consistently checking in. Sure, the hospitality could improve a little but realize what you're going in there for. To stuff ya face! If you're coming here and comparing this place to other kbbq joints, you'll surely be let down.
